Lens Flares of the ugly hexagonal pre-millenium kind have recently started to show up in-game, although I have not changed my graphical settings.
(Exception: when nVidia PhysX was replaced, the replacement option "GPU Particles" defaulted to "High". I set it to "Medium".)
As per this thread apparently Lens Flare effects have existed in the game since at least 2015, without me noticing them so far. Either they have become much more obtrusive or my particular configuration did not show them to begin with. I wish to get rid of them.
As there is no option dedicated to Lens Flares, which more encompassing option, if any, would result in their removal, if lowered?
(Currently I have everything on Medium, with the exception of Anti-Aliasing, which is Low instead. All check mark options are enabled with the exception of Constant Weapon Trail.)
