Is Phobos A Sign Of What Is To Come ?

I don't want to leave the space. I like so much the spaceships and spacecrafts. I want more of them too, only 2 is not enough.

New Corpus tiles have been leaked in Livestream 12, and they look pretty dope.

They look like they're Corpus ship tiles rather than outpost tiles.

I hope so. Logically the next set, the Orokin Derelict, will be Golem's map and may branch out to the rest of Jupiter, or at least show up throughout the system. After that is the Corpus Gas Refinery, which would logically be on one of the gas planets (though this would require moving missions around to allow Corpus to have access)

EDIT: I had forgotten that Neptune is Corpus territory. However, the color of the gas at the refinery would imply Jupiter or Saturn. Also, both of those have higher levels of hydrogen and helium, which are fuel sources, so it would make sense to "mine" there.

This isn't to say the Neptune lacks these gases. And Neptune's cold temperatures would seem to suit the Corpus. However, I believe the high wind speeds (the highest in the solar system) would be ill-suited for atmospheric refineries. But hey, it's sci-fi....

Probably. With the new Corpus title set being mainly focused on what appears to be a gas giants we may see some variants of it dedicated to being on some gas giants. And the new Orokin derelicts coming for which is most likely going to be the common level type for Eris. I pretty sure thats what they're going for.

The irony is that Phobos is a moon of Mars, but it looks like it has a gas giant in the sky...

Whats even more funny is phobos is just a grey rock so rocky deserts shouldn't even be there. Deimos however...

Does this mean that each planet will have its own tile-set ?

Or even if just a few planets had unigue tile sets and the rest of the time we use the galleons and asteroid bases thats cool too

I hope so, they really went above and beyond with the level design for Phobos. The maps have potential for great PvP, Great exploration and obviously plenty of new secret spots.
