Archwing guns combining elemental mods incorrectly when using Rubedo-Lined Barrel

It looks like something goes pear-shaped when you put the Arch-Gun base-damage-adding mod "Rubedo-Lined Barrel" after a trio of elemental mods.  

 

Example 1: Grattler.  Should be making Gas (Heat + Toxin) and Cold.  Is instead making Blast (Heat + Cold) and Toxin.  Change occurs when the mod "Rubedo-Lined Barrel" (A base-damage-increasing mod, with no elemental damage) is added.

Example 2: Fluctus. Should be making Viral (Toxin + Cold) and Heat. Is instead making Gas (Heat + Viral) and Cold. Change occurs when the mod "Rubedo-Lined Barrel" (A base-damage-increasing mod, with no elemental damage) is added.

Not sure what is happening here, but it seems to be tied to the location of Rubedo-Lined Barrel.  The same mods all seem to combine fine if Rubedo-Lined Barrel comes before them in priority..

It seems like the priority of mods is messed up. SImilar thing happens on my rathbone.

Poison + cold + electricity = viral + electicity

Poison + cold + electricity + anything = corosive + cold

also adding one more mod flips it back to normal, adding another flips it to wrong order again.
