Change In Game Camera Position

I was wondering if there's any way to change the camera position.  I think it sits too low on the character, when I would prefer it to be higher over the shoulder.  Any of the fov settings feel cramped to me because of where the camera node sits.  Is there a mod or something that would be allowed to tweak this within reason?

As far as I know the only tweak other than FOV is pressing H to switch shoulders for the camera.

Maybe memory is failing me or I'm playing on diffirent pov than used to 5 years ago but I don't remember weapons covering half the screen
