Let us mod for lower/slower decay rate.    Or give us mechanics to increase the damage rate/spread range beyond just modding for range+damage and trying our best to keep things up. These changes are minor QoL while spores are too much work to keep up compared to their damage output.

Maybe let spore spread molt (can't be cast on it) so we can keep it up instead of frantically having to chase down an enemy?  Have kills with toxic lash increased spread range? Maybe add some kind of mechanic/augment with Miasma to help spread spores?

I like a lot of these changes but this is "yea we know you wanted this but we had to have like 1 change to let you know we're still out of touch and stuck in 2013, we dont ever really change and you should lower your expectations"

I'm happy to see this addressed! If you guys ever get the chance, could you take a look at the Mutalist Cernos' (and possibly the Pox's) toxic clouds they produce as the Energy colours you choose do not affect said clouds.

Zephyr has always needs more work than DE is generally able to put into a rework just to not make her a nuisance, let alone actually make her really good 😐

We essentially have this back with the change to miasma.

Actually what we have with this miasma change is better spread than before, as it spreads max range instead of half. 

Saryn is just required to control the spread of spores now by juicing them up with miasma (which, when coupled with spore is pretty effective at laying waste to everything in the universe).

 

Yeah I'm talking it up a bit....  Really like the changes. My current build has a hefty 50M range on miasma which translates to incredible spore coverage on affected targets. Especially when you consider the 100% viral proc (cuts health by 50% before miasma deals tick damage. Extending the duration by 1s is awesome and should allow for constant coverage with miasma now that it costs 25% less).

If you are not bringing "spreading spores on dead". At least add some kind of aura in which spores will spread that drains energy per spread. Jumping around and pressing 1 is not fun.

Outside of really high levels/and/or onslaught this is mostly meaningless since most stuff will die to miasma if they have spores ticking away and you're still stuck frantically  looking for a mob to keep decay from starting.

Эм сложный про сарину что либо сказать. В. Комбо 1 и 3 мода я смог убить 125 левела. Но чувствется что от миазм меньше урона. А так нормально.

This is all very nice about saryn and her changes. But the most annoying part about her kit is losing spore dps, you can sustain that pretty easily in elite onslaught, but outside of it, it's pretty much impossible, no matter how you build the base decay rate is huge, 10% is a lot, basically if you find yourself without a single mob around for 5 second, all your dps is gone, and it's quite hard to get it back, since you can only get small increase per second even with high strength since the dps growth for spores is capped.

Which is why I have to propose 2 things: 

1. Remove reset decay. Reduce base spore decay to 5%, or add a timer for about 5 seconds which allows you to find next target before your dps is gone completely 

2. Rework spores into spore stacks - Remove spore energy cost. Each enemy killed by spore or with an active spore on it, grants saryn a stack of her spores - which increases the dps of each spore. Each time you recast your spores it takes away some % stacks and reduces it's damage. So basically that way you can always preserve your dps, but you can't just spread spores everywhere without dps loss and you have to manage stacks. This change would make her a lot more viable outside of ESO 

3. just remove all decay and make spore recast remove like 20% of current dps, like you have 1000 spore dps, you lost all spores, you wanna start it again, cast 1 spore on a target and it will be at 800
