ASH EXALTED? Would it not be his Shurikens??

Tbh I feel weird never using his first ability, cuz it really doesn't scale well... Having it exalted/modifiable would fix dis, somewhat wasted ability slot.

Ash doesn`t have a exalted weapon

Only Equipped weapons are considered Exalted Weapons by DE. Ash doesn't equip anything.  You could argue that his Bladestorm equips the blades while attacking, but just like Atlas's Landslide, Gara's 1 and Khora's Whipclaw, it's automated and cast only.

This is where things are going to get 'complicated' for DE (and us) because there are many abilities that draw from our weapons to buff their damage. 

In the devstream they said about gara's first ability not being an exalted ability (same would go for shuriken), so wouldn't get it's own mod slot, but the complication is that it acts exactly the same as exalted abilities which draw from our weapons. 

The current plan from DE is going to cause a 2 tier setup meaning some of our abilities will still need us to take specific weapons with us even though the modding of exalted weapons is aiming to stop this.

It’s not exalted weapon. He doesn’t need an exalted ability.

But having it scale of melee or secondary mods would be nice.

It's an exalted weapon only if using it causes you to only be able to use it and nothing else.

As far as I am aware, using shurikens or the hidden blades still very much allow you to use any of your equipped weapons.

It's only complicated to people that want to make it complicated.

If Shuriken could be modded separately: Imagine Shuriken with multishot and Seeking Shuriken. That would be awesome!
