Canyew Posted August 16, 2013 Share Posted August 16, 2013 Mag is a great frame for overall support. Crush really screws up enemies it doesn't kill at later levels. Like pegging infested ancients body parts into the floor and having them gltich up. Pull is great on defense missions to pull enemies away from the defense target. And Shield polarize not only gives your allies shields, but can be used on defense targets, Even gives yourself shields at the same time, increasing your survivability as well. I can spam polarize if enough orbs drop, so the pods wont lose health - or can stop it fast if it does start to. Against grineer and such the drain is useless -they recharge shields pretty fast tho. Canyew Posted August 16, 2013 Share Posted August 16, 2013 Honestly maxing out crush with a stretch mod isn't a bad idea, stretch specially to enhance pull to the point you can pull entires hoards of enemies across a room right into a crush. The thing about crush is that I noticed that even though it's weak it's a good tool to really screw up enemies and force them down in a bad situation. Ketec Posted August 16, 2013 Author Share Posted August 16, 2013 Crush is fine - all except it becomes worthless against any armor. 1300 damage in a reduced area compared to most aoe-s. Kills infested at lvl 40 and such easily.. .but takes 4 or even 5 crushes to kill a lvl 42 ancient. Its weak as soon any grineer or corpus with shields and armor come.. or ancients.
