Artekkor
There was a time when Tonkor was a god. It was the best weapon in the game for close quarters combat. And just in general too. That time is gone. Tonkor was nerfed in the most justified way possible - it now deals self damage making close quarters combat pretty much off the table. Also the stats were decreased too, a little bit... But the game IS ~80% close combat with enemies more often than not trying to jump straight into your face. So self-murder is a common issue with these types of weapons making them fairly... unpopular. So here's the thing. Riven Disposition is decided not by actual power of the weapon, but its popularity. Right now Tonkor's rivens are... Extremely weak. I barely can justify using mine little QoL riven (on top of the fact that i can barely justify using Tonkor to begin with). Can the riven disposition of Tonkor be slightly increased from 1/5 to at least 2/5? Poor thing is pretty much dead already, give it some ice cream. ShiraHagane
or, we could like, undo the crit chance nerf to it, since lenz is a thing now or Edited June 6, 2018 by ShiraHagane
NinjaKitsune56
Agreed... I've noticed very few (if any) grenade launcher rivens on the market anyway, so something tells me people are either hoarding them like gold (which they kind of are,) are are recycling them as fast as they get them since almost nobody uses them (which wouldn't surprise me at all.) DrBorris
Don't you know? Riven disposition is based on usage, the most fair and balanced ways to determine a weapon's power. It would only make sense for the disposition to increase if its usage rates decreased. Oh wait... Spoiler Riven disposition based on "usage" (whatever the fudge that means) is -insert many profanities here- cow poo. DE, I love ya, but this is that one area where you really got to clean up your excrement.
NezuHimeSama
People can whine all they want, but Rivens are there to encourage people to try different weapons so that DE can collect data on how those weapons perform under different conditions. Ideally, people should migrate to strong riven weapons, and the riven disposition of those weapons should creep down, while previously popular weapons with a low disposition should creep up. However, people apparently don't like change or variety. Personally, I welcome our new Ogris overlords. yles9056
Players who have Tonkor rarely use it anymore. And it's not popular among newer players either. Shouldn't this be a good reason to adjust Tonkor's riven disposition? Edited June 7, 2018 by yles9056 grammer

Combined with the self-damage, I'd argue that the Tonkor actually requires more than two brain cells to use now and could afford a second pass.
