DanPaul7
I would go for damage, personally.
Hayden11121
Both have a better prime version, I suggest going for them. IMO, Reaper Prime was.. less then satisfactory. I could go with a charge based build and still melee attack mobs up to level 50, but Orthos Prime outclassed it, from what I can tell.
alchemistjkt
both? barring that, use what ever you want. not really sure why people have to ask what to put on things. Edited August 16, 2013 by alchemistjkt

alchemistjkt
Why don't you think about the dilemma. The player obviously has both blueprints/ availability to both, but doesn't want to grind for both at the moment. so the dilemma is either play the game or not play the game? is that really even a dilemma? what is warframe without grind? Hayden11121
so the dilemma is either play the game or not play the game? is that really even a dilemma? what is warframe without grind? Too bad I enjoy killing things, not speedrunning to Golem so I can get a neural sensor *possibly If you grind, good for you. Some players don't like it, and would rather enjoy the game and grind as little as possible.

Cpl_Facehugger
Do i go for the extra reach with the orthos or the extra damage with the hate? I personally prefer the Orthos. The reach (with a reach mod) is long enough that you can slice up toxic ancients without getting within poison range. I mean, Scindo can do it too, but you have to be really careful with Scindo. Orthos (and especially Orthos Prime's) reach means you have considerably more margin for error.

Sixty5
Depends who you plan on using it on. Unless you are like me and actively use melee as a major form of damage dealing I'd probably say Orthos since it has a faster regular attack etc. Personally I like the Reaper for its speed and ability to stunlock things. However, Orthos is too mainstream and scythes are badass.
