MOEGAMI
Ok, lets start with the basics of Warframe. Warframe is a game where you grind and grind you gear to level it up. then when you finish your gear, you move on to more gear where you do the same thing. Warframe has always been like this but there is a huge problem with this method and how the devs approached it.1. The missions never change. playing one mission on earth is going to look the same as a mission on sedna.2. when you level a weapon up, you get mastery. the ater a certain amount your account levels up. this is cool and all, but unless you are trying to get the clan weapons (which give a pretty good reason to level you account up) there is little point to leveling up your account and even if you get to mastery rank 7 for, lets say the Acrid, after that there is not reason to go any further. unless you want bragging rights...3. Running regular mission is fine, and how the devs expect you to level things, but why do a normal level and maybe get halfway with a weapon level, when you can run Kappa and get 3 weapon levels?! this leads to a very narrow route to tying to get every weapon to 30 and get to mastery rank 12. sure doing a kappa run is fun, and seeing the levels fly by is great! but basically my gameply in warframe is, either go play Xini to farm kills, or go on Kappa with new gear and level the crap out of everything. Before i even knew anything about Kappa, i just ran the normal raid missions thinking i was making good progress. but knowing that kappa is around, doing other missions are pretty much a waste of time unless its for variety sakes. the kills dont even come close to the kills i get on Xini and the mission exp is nothing like Kappa. Now, here are some things that make Warframe almost an embarrisment at times. 1. The Content A. DE has this idea that as long as they keep putting new stuff out fast then everybody will be happy. this is kinda true. DE fails to relize that even though the content is comming out fast, half of it either doesnt work correctly or its new weapons that arent worth using because they pale in comparrison to other weapons. B. Its really makes me laugh, how DE said they dont want to keep pushing out tons of weapons because then a new player will have a billion weapons to choose from and would be overwhelmed with all of the options... and what do the devs do?! weapon, after weapon, after weapon. so instead of adding new planets, or new action, or new mission types... they would rather give us a weapon, for instance, the Hind. an upgrade to the burstan, yeah, but are you really going to level it up and replace the Ogris, Braton, or Hek for it? it going to be like almost all of the weapons in thi game and get leveld for mastery. C. The devs say the dont want to force parkour on player, so the went and made the Grineer Gallion, which FORCES you to do it, not to mention its glichy and sometimes the parkour doesnt work correctly. so basically, the devs want you to rely on a half working system in order to proceed in the mission... thanks DE... 2. NO STORY A. This is a pretty big problem concidering its pve only. seriously, why would you make a game with no story. sure there is lore, but its basic stuff that looks like the just cpoy pasted it from this site. this statement pretty much cover the whole No Story thing, so i wont go into that much more 3. PVP A. now this is something that has came up a lot with Warframe, but there is a reason for that. DE said that they wanted this game to be strictly pve because not many games are doing that... well gee, i wounder why!? PVP is a common thing because it keeps people playing. so if Warframe had PVP, you wouldent have a bunch of players bored out of their mind and quit the game. instead, the would hop on PVP and have a fun experiance. Not to mention it would give the devs more time to make their content, therefor it not being a half-fast job. of course the devs need to be fast right now with the new content, because its only PVE and players (me included) blow through it instantly. B. Now there is some PVP in this game. But its so bad its a joke. there is no reason for Warframes PVP to be so bad. enough said to be fair, Warframe is a fun game. i really loved playing it alot and if you are a new player, then have fun and enjoy it while it lasts. But all of Waframe veteran players are feeling burnt out, and like DE doesnt stick to their promises. Honestly, if you ask me, version 6 of this game was the best version.... sadly Message to the readers: Please be mature and well mannered. if you have a different view with what I said or what someone else said, then dont be a D*** about it. BTW- "its in beta" is not an answer for things like this Edited August 17, 2013 by Ameadeus

MrSuperAwesome
One thing to address most of your concerns: The game is incomplete. It's only beta. (Sorry to be that guy) They're working on fixing bugs and adding story, as well as chaning up mission types. Archangelzz
first off this is still in beta things were much worse in closed there is a storyline coming be patient they are going to add a duel arena that everyone can go to so that you don't have to join a clan to duel. As for the content who cares better something comes out often then not at all there is grinding in every game. All the points you have posted the devs are ether working on fixing or it is on their to do list as far as I am concerned your just impatient. Also your name is wrong if you were taking mozarts middle name the real spelling is amadeus.

fatpig84
Story is going to be waaaaay behind but that's fine. I rather they fix more stuff. Like the armor update on U10 *happy dance* Edited August 17, 2013 by fatpig84
YTakuyaY
I agree with the need to adding variety to missions. It can be randomly generated map layout for each missions so not to make it stale. The AI should be programmed with smarter tactic to raise the challenge as well. They can plan up explosive traps that does massive damage or net trap that temporarily disable movement. Enemies could be more of ambush predators. This addition would reduce the need for players to resort to rushing every mission too. It adds more fun and get rid of the rush complaint! And then there's the need for story! Maybe DE can add the story mode that shows scripted animation and narrations. The current missions types that we have could recategorized as under the free roam mode. So there will be free roam mode and story mode. Story mode will have list of quests and side-objectives that Tenno must set to accomplish. Completing these quests and objectives will unlock unique "title" that appear next to the player's name, and reward unique emblem and equipments. That's what I'd hope to see in the future! Letter13
relize Nailed it. Also, many games that are in public or open beta lack lore/story. This is to prevent the game and story from being spoiled before the release. I'm sure they have quite a bit of the lore already figured out, and are trickling it out to the players bit by bit. I think it's safe to say that on release (later this fall) there will be a big bombshell of lore. Edited August 17, 2013 by Letter13
Anatolius
I enjoy PvP not to rub my skills into other people's faces but for friendly challenges with friends and testing out maneuvers. Some people just want to kick other people's asses It shouldn't be a focus but a well modeled option to spar should be available.

SilentCynic
No, but it means that it's still in early development and more things are coming. So it is a valid excuse. Okay, altogether now: the game is in beta, yes. We are beta testers. This means we provide feedback about our experience so that the devs can take it into consideration, potentially adapt their approach, and move forward. That's the whole point of this exercise. Great. You have an opinion want an award? What I don't really get is why people like you come onto the forums and rant about it? I mean, if you're that irritated with the game, then just leave. I believe the OP is trying to help a game he/she enjoys/enjoyed from stumbling, in their eyes. The first post, while perhaps a bit sharp in certain points, is not a rant, but a structured set of feedback. We criticize Warframe because we want it to be the best it can be. PaperAlien
No, but it means that it's still in early development and more things are coming. So it is a valid excuse. If I'm not mistaken, there isn't a whole lot of time before the game will be released, thanks to PS4 announcement, and with things going the way they are now, I'm not seeing enough improvement by release date. The entire scaling of the game is still off, and DE hasn't even announced their intent to fix it (the last I heard, they were still "discussing" whether or not to tweak armour scaling). And my opinion is that armour scaling has to be changed. Otherwise the game will be doomed, in my opinion. Also, I don't agree with their choice on weapon tiers either, and if the tiers thing gets more pronounced, I won't find this game suitable anymore. waverid3r
Ameadeus Guess what - you missed something importantTHIS IS A BETA - not a finished game, Ohh and by the way its hitting the PS4 after the BETA. the Lore problem you have - A) Story is only useful in some games when you build around the Story. Right now the lore is low because its a BETA, and More will come later when the game is 100% finished. B) it doesnt make sense to throw you a Medium to Long Back story, to something that A] is about ninjas and B] not really needed since most missions are about sabotage and kiling the enemy. - You didnt "waste money" on this game, you "used" money to get stuff you wanted and then found out the game was more repetitive then you liked about the game afterwards. Otherwise you wouldnt have spent money ON THE GAME in the first place! - Here's Why PVP would suck for this game right now. its a BETA, Anyone who spent Money on the game (like you) early would destroy anyone just starting out that didnt spend any money. PVP isnt needed for this game yet, and frankly I dont want to see it. LOL ruined the PVP experience for me, working WITH people to finish missions, kiling bad guys is more fun then say, Dealing with Rage rants, Leavers, AFKers, and the constant insults to come forth because someone is new and wanted to try something fun. Your problem with this game is that you spent money on something and found out you dont like playing it aymore, well boo hoo, thats the life of every gamer that picks up a USED GAME, or didnt get to finish a game he started a year ago. Cry a river somewhere else, you either learn to enjoy what you use to like about WARFRAME, or leave it behind and go back to the regular PVP MMO MMORPG types of games, with all the Rage and swearing, and Problems with having fun with Anyone who joins yous randomly. Hope you have a nice day with that!

OP is just expressing his opinions and he somehow has a point, he may sound like he's ranting but he also wants warframe to get better. MOEGAMI
I would like to make another point... I made this point to shed some light on problems with warframe. just because i dont go around saying warframe is perfect, doesnt mean that what i say just doesnt matter. This game needs feedback, even negative feedback. Im not mad, or crying over this. i dont understand why white knights always have to be rude with everything.for example: Me: Hey guys, did you know this is kinda broken? White Knight: HOW DARE YOU, WARFRAME IS IN BETA YOU PRICK, THERE ONLY HUMAN GIVE THEM A BREAK, WAAAAAA WAA WAAAAA!!! Me: O_O its almost like you either have to follow the White Knights who suck DE's @#&$, or get trampled for saying anything negative... its ridiculous. Arlayn
Wow you need to go and re-read all the other post 1. Beta 2. They have multiple teams working on different things 3. There is lore, they added Dark Sector Lore, and they are adding more lore, plus trailer lore, plus ingame lore from the profile section, plus lore from the website, plus lore from the bosses, plus lore if your a hardcore nerd and look around for a change. 4. They are working hard at adding new things they added a new tileset a friggin desert... so now we have corpus ship, grineer ship, snow, and desert, oh and asteroid... along with the Void... They even add wild life... They made new textures for enemies. 5. They are polishing everything... remember this is going to be a PS4 game. Meaning this games needs a massive polish work. 6. Watch livesteam 12 they already said they are going to do a massive rework on how damage works, and it may or may not end like that time we went from Tree mod system, to card mod system. Things are changing... BIG CHANGES ARE COMING... The dojo is about to get an awesome upgrade... I can't say what it is yet but lets say its between the design council. New weapons are coming of course no matter what new weapons will come because THEY ARE A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TEAM!!!! The different teams work on different things. The things that are not in the game yet are more or less being worked on by another team... maybe or maybe not depending on what DE wants in the game. You need patience... this game isn't anywhere near finished. They constantly pull out TONS OF NEW CONTENT!!! Also give DE time they are experimenting with events. They have NO IDEA what to do when it comes to events. So they are experimenting. They want to see want the community wants. So far they have given us all the event ideas we have wanted, and we as a community have learned what we thought we wanted was not it. So now DE has gone back to the drawing board to fix it yet again. Digital Extremes also needs to work on commercialing their product which is why the top guys of production have gone to see fans in Germany at Gamescon plus a chance to advertise their product. This will bring in more players to the game, and will give DE more ideas and people to work with. If this game makes you so upset you have options... you can leave and play something else, OR Go to Germany and speak to DE yourself at Gamescon. That simple... Arlayn
Let me just say this in a separate post... How about instead of complaining tell us how DE can fix these problems... So tell me Game Messiah man with the answer to World Hunger, and fixing every game in the world... How should DE fix it... I would like to see a Bible on this... a long speech possibly?
