There is lore, they added Dark Sector Lore, and they are adding more lore, plus trailer lore, plus ingame lore from the profile section, plus lore from the website, plus lore from the bosses, plus lore if your a hardcore nerd and look around for a change. 4. They are working hard at adding new things they added a new tileset a friggin desert... so now we have corpus ship, grineer ship, snow, and desert, oh and asteroid... along with the Void... They even add wild life... They made new textures for enemies. 5. They are polishing everything... remember this is going to be a PS4 game. Meaning this games needs a massive polish work. 6. Watch livesteam 12 they already said they are going to do a massive rework on how damage works, and it may or may not end like that time we went from Tree mod system, to card mod system. Things are changing... BIG CHANGES ARE COMING... The dojo is about to get an awesome upgrade... I can't say what it is yet but lets say its between the design council. New weapons are coming of course no matter what new weapons will come because THEY ARE A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TEAM!!!! The different teams work on different things. The things that are not in the game yet are more or less being worked on by another team... maybe or maybe not depending on what DE wants in the game. You need patience... this game isn't anywhere near finished. They constantly pull out TONS OF NEW CONTENT!!! Also give DE time they are experimenting with events. They have NO IDEA what to do when it comes to events. So they are experimenting. They want to see want the community wants. So far they have given us all the event ideas we have wanted, and we as a community have learned what we thought we wanted was not it. So now DE has gone back to the drawing board to fix it yet again. Digital Extremes also needs to work on commercialing their product which is why the top guys of production have gone to see fans in Germany at Gamescon plus a chance to advertise their product. This will bring in more players to the game, and will give DE more ideas and people to work with. If this game makes you so upset you have options... you can leave and play something else, OR Go to Germany and speak to DE yourself at Gamescon. That simple... (Sorry to be that guy) They're working on fixing bugs and adding story, as well as chaning up mission types. I'd love to do that, hell You know what I'd love to do even further? Ask them politely if they are doing anything after the gamescom even if they only have half an hour to spare to just come to a local coffee shop maybe near their hotel and sit down with them for coffee and have a conversation and discuss the game and their careers^ I love the concept of this game and just like every single other popular hit Like the Elder Scrolls and World of Warcraft they were a massive block of Stone that needed to be chipped. Hell I remember when I got invited to the WoW closed beta test years ago, I thought that game was going to be made of pure Garbage and ruin my childhood (they did eventually though hah!) and I remember playing Elder Scrolls 2 Daggerfall, I STILL HAVENT BEATEN THE GAME I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO! People are demanding things wayy to fast and need to just chill out have a nice drink Smoke a cigarette if you're like me and think things through rationally. I've been in DE's shoes for smaller more local things such as College and your own group of buddies who you work with to challenge what skill you have. There is still so much room for this game to grow, let it grow! And I really do not give any cares for ppl who wanna try and find a reason to why It's still in Beta is not a valid excuse, it kinda is just flesh it out why you think it is. The point is, Give these guys a break. they're trying their best in all honesty I actually wish i could go see them at Gamescon in Germany. So tell me Game Messiah man with the answer to World Hunger, and fixing every game in the world... How should DE fix it... I would like to see a Bible on this... a long speech possibly? Also not our job to tell a game development studio how to fix their own game. If they cant do even that much then thats sad. Its a difference between complaining and leaving feedback. He left feedback. Now its DEs jobs to gauge the feedback and come up with solutions for the problems posed in the OP. I understand you like the game and want to defend the game you like, thats cool, but you cant just write off someones feedback as simple complants just because he didnt feel the need to solve DEs problems in his spare time. Well telling them you don't like it doesn't do anything either... Your the gamer... you should tell them what it is you want in the game... How they should change it. Like what kind? Pepperoni? Pineapple? Cheese? I mean you can't walk into a place and go I want a computer! Like what kind? an HP? a MAC? Do you want Windows 8, or Windows 7? I mean be specific... Because there doesn't need to be a "pro and con" section. The only people who need them are babies who can't handle the thought of their work being criticized on any level. He pointed out the issues he had with the game based on his experience, and even gave reasons as to why he had these particular issues. They do NOT have a huge staff and all of those people are busy as bunch of little beavers in their separate domains. The devs TOLD us we were testing the game for them. They have REPEATED stated that we are testing the game from them. Our JOB is to FIND the problems so they can fix them. BUT NO IT'S A FINISHED TITLE AND IT SUX BECAUSE IT DOESN'T HAVE ALL THE THINGS A FINISHED TITLE SHOULD HAVE AND IT SUX BECAUSE I THINK IT SUX... Fine. All of the people who say this (And worse) have your opinion. It does not fit the facts, but you insist that your opinion IS the facts. Whatever. People have been ignoring the facts to cherish less than intelligent opinions since the dawn of recorded history. I don't see that changing any time soon and really couldn't care less. I have 500+ hours in game now and still find it fun. I am still finding new ways to play, new tactics and bugs that I try to replicate and then report. The game is not perfect, FAR from it. They are busy trying to keep their gamers happy (an utterly impossible task if you ask me). They do not have TIME to come in here and sort through the junk. Hence why there is a separate section of the forum for such things. Posting something like this in General is about as useful as going to the White House and screaming advice at the Oval Office windows from Pennsylvania Avenue. You might get the attention of someone, you might not. Put it in 'Feedback' and you probably will. They may not respond to you personally, but I have seen feedback posts acted on quickly. The game is still being developed as we speak. They do have a date they have to meet however when the PS4 comes out. So they are trying to make as much content as physically possible while at the same time EACH OF THEIR TEAMS work on ways to make the plot bigger, and add more game mechanics... plus Update 10 is coming with a whole new boss, new warframe, and new tileset, with a new plot boss as the rep for the Corpus.
