(PSN)Iudex_Nemesis
I wacthed some videos of the new sacrifice quest since I don't mind spoilers and I want to know what is coming to consoles so I can make preperations if necessary. I was under the impression that we were going to be given a choice that would effect the ending and maybe even the gameplay in some shape or form. Although it seems that wasn't the case. So are these dialogue options just for show or I am overlooking something?
SenariousNex
The choice gives you standing towards light/dark, the outcome of gaining standing is not yet implemented.
(XBOX)Tanta Cinta
We don’t know much about the morality system but what we do know is that DE has bigger plans for it, since they didn’t end it in The Sacrifice, like some of us thought they would. Next week console Tenno should be expecting news on our build from Steve, so keep an eye out for that.
Shifty_Shuffler
Also, note that the morality 'thing' got turned on it's head a bit. The 'light' choices seemed to be the darker choices to me, whereas the 'dark' choices seemed to be the lighter choices, though your view may vary on this. -QUILL_PETER-
They aren't really good/evil choices anymore, they're more like Aggressive(light), Passive(dark), and neutral.
(PSN)ATreidezz
Its not morality choices, steve said it was supposed to be eastern (yin & yang) which more of aggressive VS passive as opposed to western light & dark (good & evil)
Midas
Yin and yang look it up D.E says it has high eastern cultural influences with the moral system.
NocheLuz
Also, those choice not really impact the Dark/Light side of the Character Profile. Only in the quest.

Though in previous missions the light seemed less aggressive than the dark, iirc
(PSN)watt4hem
I watched a couple of people play the quest (after i did it on my own) and turns out there are some minor changes on what balls answers at the end
Eyn_Sof
it is not light and dark but yin and yang as stated by [DE] Steve in his twitter.
(PSN)Zenizux
Basically, you just choose what you want to choose. It only affects what Ballas says at the end. And if you want to see what the other options make him say, you can simply google it.
(PSN)teacup775
It’d have been nice if DE had at least put a hint in earlier. Interestingly Equinox is a frame built around the same concept. That’s a frame that needs some skin love.
VoxGray
The morality choices you've made actually do start having an effect after Sacrifice. It affects dialogue both with Ballas (based on what you immediately chose), and with someone else later on (based on your overall morality). Streaky_Haddock
My understanding is that the Sun is rejection of the void, and Moon is embracing the void. Which is why Sun morality is more aggressive to the void-loving orokin executor, but throws away the vial of maybe possibly blood of a thousand tortured children. I'm sticking to the middle road. They seem like more healthier choices (Acceptance, Moving past it, acknowledging that conflict with ballas was only ever going to end one way but not getting excited or wrathful over it) and since the 'tenno cause' (as far as I understand it) is to maintain balance between the factions to allow a modicum of peace for those outside of grineer/corpus influence, I don't see the void as any different. Somniavi
Until this quest, all of the Moon choices were the more aggressive and violent which is why it was really odd for it to be reversed. Like in the War Within, the Moon choices are things like hunting the adults like animals, embracing your powers and such. Then in the Sacrifice, it's about accepting being Empty and just saying you broke the cycle? Compared to embodying Wrath and telling Ballas to squirm like a maggot.. Just really weird decisions and a certain U-Turn in direction almost. I went with Moon choices because I liked the idea of my space kid being some twisted being of the void slowly becoming more corrupted and stuff lol.
