Larsurus
Maybe an old idea but whatever. I suggest adding Gloss, Semi Gloss, Satin, Matte and Metallic options to the color picker, not as colors but as a "finish". This would change the surface texture of the part you are colorizing (excluding energy color). Examples you can find ingame today: Gloss: Nova. Semi Gloss: Rhino/Ember. Satin: Excalibur/Mag. Matte: Sadly there are no matte examples I can think of, but there is/was a bug that kinda made the character matte. Metallic: Gold parts of Braton Prime. (Could perhaps have two options? Brushed and polished? Though a bright golden Rhino might be a bit too much... or very cool). I guess this would be a thing you'd have to buy with Platinum, like all the color palettes. inthephonebox
This has been mentioned countless times already, and I'll say again what I've said before. I like all the ideas except opening metallic finishes for everything. I like that true metallic is reserved for Primes/Vandels. Its what truly distinguishes them and they deserve the extra bling. I would also add 'damaged' or 'antique' finish options, though they might not make perfect sense.

I'll have to try and get this suggestion into the next Q&A.
