A) Please please please add an indicator of some type, that is highly visible to all players, to the enemy that she uses mind control on. That way players know: "Oh hey that guy is now on our team, I won't instagib the heavy gunner shooting people for us." EDIT: Something MORE visible than a slight glow around the unit being affected, as most people I have played with don't see it. B) I know mind control is pretty powerful, but I think the AI that Nyx mind control's needs to be somewhat more aggressive. Looks for and runs towards enemies and doesn't just stand there half the time. 2. Something needs to happen to physics bolts to make them even worth considering. Idk what, but something :/ 3. Chaos is well, pretty damn good. Nothing really needs to happen to this to make it any better except maybe the enemies don't stand there for five minutes and do nothing after coming under the influence of this skill. 4. Absorb. It NEEDS to draw more aggro to be worth anything. And maybe absorb all damage from that aggro, double it, then explode outwards. Especially since it isn't affected at all by focus. Also I couldn't find anything about it on the wiki, does anyone know if it's affected by stretch? Seems like it would be but I can't tell. Absorb already has an aggro mechanic by the way, it's the highest threat thing in the entire game. It's just enemies like to wait until it's gone to decide to shoot. There have been plenty of fix nyx threads and she does need work. Absorb already has an aggro mechanic by the way, it's the highest threat thing in the entire game. It's just enemies like to wait until it's gone to decide to shoot. Not true. For some reason they nerfed her aggro a few months ago. It ended up lower than Rhino with Iron Skin. So unless you are running Solo (without a Shade... -.-) you likely wont notice increased aggro after activating Absorb. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mikki79 Posted August 19, 2013 Share Posted August 19, 2013 (edited) I found one use for psychic bolts, they do work quite well for killing light infested but that's about it. With streamline and the 2nd helmet you can spam them quite a bit, of course light infested are not a real threat so this is mostly just to level up Nyx faster by trying to get as much warframe xp from missions as possible. Somewhat situational, sure, but a good skill overall. (Teammates should probably get a shield buff from ospreys though). [Chaos] Really annoyed by the way it works now. Having to kill every enemy affected is annoying when a single enemy realizes they left the oven on and decide to vanish from the fight completely. Needs to just have a limit for how long it lasts, as that was the issue that created the nerf. [Absorb] Currently, absorb has a partial aggro mechanic, but enemies recognize Nyx as being behind something, and will usually just stare at you. Fix the aggro, and make it go through walls. (Some people have also reported that some light infested attacks aren't registering? Not sure if this is the case.) All in all, Nyx could be an incredible frame if these small notches in her abilities could get sorted out. This was written on my phone, so excuse any misspellings or odd auto-corrects. gavdl13 Posted August 28, 2013 Share Posted August 28, 2013 mind control should make the enemy that you are controlling inmune to team mates fire. absorb really needs to be able to go trough walls and crates, because after a while enemies stop shooting at you and get cover, so you end up killing like 3 of them, and the ones that doesnt get cover but are really close, like inside the globe doesnt get affected either. Its just as useful for getting a heavy out of play while you shoot him down as is it for getting an ally. We shouldn't limit it to one use.
