Probably more likely to be Critical Chance since Shotguns have low CC and [Blunderbuss] is well.. a bust..

Projectile speed to reduce the Damage Falloff and make them more efficient at longer ranges, specially if the weapon shoots an actual projectile.

That makes sense. Rifle barrels have rifled for projectile velocity (called rifling)

 

Edit:

No, nvm.. I wouldn't want a shotgun to shoot like a rifle.. Just shoot a slug shot, that seems more reasonable

That's a good point.. But there's a reason i don't use that mod.. I forgot if it's because it's not that effective or the polarity..
