Blatantfool
Why? He is technically very helpful to the Tenno. Since the Tenno are strong enough to deal lethal precision attacks but not strong enough for open warfare with either the Grineer or the Corpus it is a good thing that those two are stuck in a bizarre cold war. If one overwhelmed the other they'd be able to focus their efforts on the Tenno better. Thankfully that hasn't happened. Alad V is a part of that. Kai626
Water-boarding? What about other forms of torture, like the iron maiden, the rack, etc? But hey, I do support any move to make sure this Corpus becomes a corpse.

Khaos_Zand3r
The devs hinted at a new Corpus boss for the Gas Refinery/Station tileset coming in October. They mentioned it POSSIBLY being Alad V, so you will all get your wish of killing him, or at least trying to. It was a pretty strong hint. Comparable to how "pretty strong" getting hit in the face with a school bus is. Edited August 20, 2013 by Khaos_Zand3r

Main issue: The Tenno are not an entire mega-faction, they're a small group that are already in hiding. The Grineer have already declared Tenno to be exterminated, and we've seen how effective that is. I don't think the Corpus are directly hunting as down (When we're not taking a nap in a fridge, at least), as the Grineer are implied to be. We've already instigated them both to the point where they all have "kill on sight" orders. We are literally incapable of open warfare. In turn, an open warfare campaign against us would be ineffective, as there's technically about 10 of us. And invisibility capabilities miles ahead of their technology. They barely fixed any current bosses and they're talking about new ones, that really pisses me off.

Khaos_Zand3r
Yeah I remember now. They barely fixed any current bosses and they're talking about new ones, that really &!$$es me off. They are working on improving several bosses. Currently the most notable is Golem, and they said Ruk would follow suit. But, I do agree. They need to improve quality before increasing quantity. For example, their recycling of Vor and Kril on Phobos was not only lazy, but total back-tracking on the idea of improving bosses and making each one unique. Sparrohawk
It's much more useful to keep Corpus and Grineer focused on each other, as opposed to the Tenno. Think of it this way. Alad thinks he's used us. He dangled some Mod tech in front of us, and we knocked off a bunch of supercapital ships. He gave a faction who are known for having technology that neither the Corpus nor the Grineer understand even more tech that we didn't possess before. It's not as if we lost anything, and all he's learned is that we're apparently easy to manipulate. In short, he gets what he wants (blunting the Grineer assault at little cost) and we get what we want (mod tech that might come in very handy to a faction that doesn't have a resource monopoly). And besides, killing him could end badly. The person who replaces him might not be so willing to try to 'manipulate' us. EDIT: Not to mention that we were able to take out a bucketload of enemy ships without breaking a sweat. And everyone knows it. They might think twice before trying to attack us, now. They might think: 'If the Tenno can knock off that much hardware, what might they do when backed into a corner?' Rivy
all he's learned is that we're apparently easy to manipulate "Apparently" ? How many players would not play an event for new mods if the lore behind it was "several hundred sleeping Tenno will be dissected if we succeed" ! I say we are very very easy to manipulate. Tenno are so greedy :P
Solaurus
I said it before, a team of Tenno need to break into his home, kidnap him, and dissect him as irony for the Corpus dissecting fellow Tenno.
DoomFruit
I vote we stuff him with Nano-Spores. If by "stuff" you mean "build a full-scale replica of the Colosseum out of nano spores and put him in the Emperor's viewing box", then sure. It doesn't matter how big he is, we won't physically be able to fit all of these nano spores inside him...

It doesn't matter how big he is, we won't physically be able to fit all of these nano spores inside him... It's simple. We build our own J3 Golem out of our massed nano spores, and then rule the galaxy.
Kalenath
Personally? I think he is a good thing. A face for the brainwashed masses to follow -especially a clueless one who is easy to manipulate- is a good thing. We MIGHT need to remind the scum that taking our kin and dissecting them to build machines is not a good idea. MY personal favorite idea is to go to ONE of Alad's contemporaries, kill him silently in his office and leave his head lying on his desk. Leave no other traces, let no alarms be set off and leave all the other Corpus in the area alive. If we show we can strike anywhere, anytime and not be stopped, they might, MIGHT get the hint that Tenno are not their property. Probably not, but it would be fun.
