Rare 5 Fusion Cores

i am stocking up rare items when we are able to trade ingame.  do you guys know any maps in warframe where you have encountered an abundance of these cores.  thanks for reading this and if you know any info please reply.

its random aka RNG but with new table 2.0 try high lv enemy 45+

Uncommon 5 Cores are much more useful than Rare 5 Cores. They cost much less while only provide a few less bonus to the fusion.

For high amounts of cores, farm high level Mobile Defense or Defense missions. My favorite are Cyath and Kiste, which are both Mobile Defenses. I often get 25-40 mods per run, and anywhere from 1-4 Rare 5's out of them.

A bit off topic, but I still don't understand why we cannot find cores above rank 5, be it rare uncommon and common, I know they exist all the way to rank 10 (I had a lot from closed beta)

I got a tip on the forums thay Cyath has a good drop rate for cores and I tried it and confirm.

Any high level mission with lots of enemies will drop you a good amount of cores
