Anyone Else Think They Will Reveal Stalkers As Grineer Elite Pawns?

So the official game description says that "after centuries of being enslaved by the Grineer the Tenno are awakening" etc etc.

Anyone else think that the Stalker(s) is just one of the many such "enslaved tenno" that the Grineer have? And that we just haven't been revealed the full extent of this game element?

This would explain why the few words the Stalker say talk about us slaying Grineer bosses like as if it's a crime...although not so much why he talks the same way when he comes for us because of an infested or corpus boss we killed...that might just be because he hasn't been fully fleshed out though....

It would also explain why the Grineer seem to be obsessed with the Tenno (y'know apart from because we always murderize them) even though we only see the Corpus trying to "recreate Tenno tech". At least that's the impression I got.

Just a thought I had, what do you all think?

Edited for clarity. (and great justice)

Given how he could make it to several ongoing Tenno missions at once, it's a possibility.

However, the Stalker / Stalker faction couldn't be aligned with the Grineers : whenever the Stalker appears, EVERYONE is gunning for it... so I doubt the Grineer would shoot one of their own, especially an elite they'd already know about that could wipe the floor with them 10 times over.

if you say the tenno are "heroes" I just think the stalker is more like An anti hero or a Villain for hire I would guess and he is mainly hired from grineer and Corpus, or just a rogue tenno, there are lots of possibilites but my greatest guess is the stalker got really infected from the virus(the infection) and he gone bad(rogue).

the stalker my friend, u need to fight more as u seem to be lacking of info.

? I've killed him plenty of times, what do you mean? :/

yeah sorry I didn't remember that the stalker gets attacked by normal enemies as well which kinda blows this idea out of the water, unless it falls under the category of "they didn't implement it fully yet".

I will modify the thread title too, I didn't mean a "faction" as in the stalkers have their own planets and ships and buildings etc, I meant more like the Grineer have their own brainwashed / corrupted / whatever "squads" of stalkers or something.

Just a thought. :)

There is only one stalker, and there is speculation that he/she/it is a rouge Tenno. As far as the "enslaved" bit, the Tenno have been in cryo sleep, not chained around the neck doing whatever the Grineer tell them to do. Both Corpus and Grineer are "obessed" with killing/capturing Tenno because they want to use the advance tech that the tenno have.

So what do I think? No, no, no.

I doubt the stalker is tied to the grineer that way. he just seems like an old tenno who has been awake for centuries before us who knows something of a balance that has been existing and wants to execute us for tipping the balance.  perhaps he revoked all contact he once had with lotus during a mission due to learning the truth that was hid from him.

I personally think the Stalker goes higher up than any lowly faction of warmongers. I will venture into the deep end, and say even higher than the Sisters. He is clearly equipped with an advanced frame, nothing the likes of Vor mustered up--his only plan means eradicating the Tenno. The corpus are the ones after our warframes, and I'm not even sure if they have perfected a design yet (that we know of). The infected do not have the brainpower to sustain simple ideas, they are nearly comparable to drones. I honestly do not believe that even the Sisters have the knowledge of such weaponry or design, being that they only recently made http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Kela_De_Thaym'>Kela de Thaym for combat purposes.

The Stalker doesn't really exist. He is just a figment of Tennos imagination; an avatar of supressed guilt and bad conscience.

He is our collective psychosis, our inner demon who reminds us of how others see us.

His weapons are merely an expression of our own hate, dread and despair.
