pdxdubin
A lot of people think that Update 10 is going to be the final beta update. But I personally think that the game is going to stay in beta until the release of the Ps4 What do you guys think, Any news about this anywhere? And what types of change's do you expect to see with the payment play when the game is released? I don't think they will keep selling founder packs.. Venarge
I dont even think that PS4 has to be the "release". There have been beta games on consoles so for me, this is not really the argument ^^
Cabadath5
Hopefully not very soon(in my opinion)....Still a lot of stuff to fix and only 2 bosses are reworked.Well ok one boss and the other is on his way.
UltimaHiryuu
They still haven't announced any date for it coming out of Beta. Probably because they have things they want to do, but aren't sure how long they'll take. I'm thinking it won't be out of beta until they at least finish redoing bosses. It's something they've slowly been working on. They may also wait till they have more Dojo rooms and have shifted more rooms to the "new" appearance. As well as waiting till they have Alliances fully refined.
Slurmageddon
The general consensus seems to be the PS4 release, and I think I saw it somewhere that they'll stop selling the Founders packs at that point but theres no way to know for certain. To me it just seems like common sense they would want to be at least NEARING the end of open beta before theyre a launch title on a next-gen console
Big_Ed
as soon as a game "releases", they stop diligently working on it. in this day and age u want a game to forever be in beta, means they still have money to work on it ^^ <3. Beta is a over used term from the stone ages where the common user didnt have internet gosh get with the times
DAWGUNITALPHA
Never, because as long as it's "beta" they can hide behind that as an excuse for sloppy programming and design.

I mean diligently yea, But frequent updates are going to be what keep people interested. That is unless they fix the issues that go with being burnt out. I would at least like to see cosmetic items / weapon / warframe skins / weapons and warframes released more often. However we have too many weapons, so maybe instead of direct weapons, we could just see direct weapon cosmetic items? Like skins, maybe things like lazer scopes or bayonets that actually affect gameplay. But a lot of games like dragon nest for example, are still releasing updates to this day. Thats not a fair statement, ive bought many AAA games that were "released" that a monkey designed an was still in Alpha format because they obviously ran out of money an pushed it out. hue hue hue
Hitomo
this game is never going in release ... F2P games Need the beta tack ... basicly they are letting you play as Long as its a beta, and you cant demand anything, functionality, Quality or bugfree, because you never paying for playing the beta ... you pay for a virtual currency ... never for anything regarding the game ... so they dont need to be acurate in advertising or describtions, and they dont Need to tell you the exact chances of getting an item on the RNG ... because its beta ... as always, People are asked to prove me wrong by doing just the opposite of what I wrote, but I am afraid it will not happen ... pdxdubin
^ Hmmm I wonder how they are going to get money when beta ends. Honestly if they just reduced the prices on some things I would be more inclined to actually but them. right now its more worthwhile to just farm the items or buy the research. If most weapons were around 75-100 plat, then they would still be getting 5$ on something that would take me an hour to get for free. Instead of buying a generic worthless weapon for 20$ because no one does that

Instead of buying a generic worthless weapon for 20$ because no one does that Honestly, unless they completely remake the market. They're pretty #*($%%@ once they close the founder program period because they've set up this means where the biggest source of profit are the founders, who generally don't need to buy more plat after grabbing a master/grand master package. The 75% off coupons don't help much when you realize you can't save them and knowing there are 75% off ones doesn't incense people to use 50 or 20% off. So it's usually inevitable to get your 75% coupon when you don't want or need plat, or can't afford it because of IRL commitments at the moment. All this compounds with the awful marketing prices people have been prodding DE to death about for ages, which DE does nothing about because other than the reactors, catalysts and slots not much really incenses people to pay plat. But there playing warframe off as a game that is basically already finished. Its even on steam right now being shown as a full game, I doubt 80% of the new people playing this even know the game is in beta still. Am I rite or am I wrong? Anyone on the forums does because any time you point out an actual flaw with the game that isn't just "Wah wah nova OP" people get super defensive about it and inevitably one of the first responses is "game's just beta!" Hitomo
I mean, warframe is an example when F2P can produce something positive in all its pervertness being able to finaly Play a game that never made in ten years, a game that introduced normal mapping and dynamic lighting even before Doom3 and now that I played it, its really something unique from head to toe ... even if I have to Play the same Levels over and over again ^^ this tenno.style.gameplay was really worth the wait ... Nautilus2015
20 frames later XD no i think U17 is the release update. DE is a smal team. but they are evolving OO. at first they rework one boss per update. then 2.. then 3 ..4.. its our end
Hazmatzone
It's only been 1 year...there are plenty of games that we're in beta longer than that. -Firefall -Mechwarrior online -DCUO A few off the top of my head. When they feel the game is in the right place where it is ready for the title "released" they will put the title "released" on it. Until then the beta title should be kept because that means that BIG changes can happen and I'm hoping they will.
