The Sacrifice: Hotfix 23.4.2

Well, I do agree that it's rather odd that the capture target could stay downed for hours and hours on end, but...

There goes our easy 3x combo multiplier riven challenge. I mean, if unveiling rivens are supposed to be a challenge, then please explain those "x kills" challenge.

Oh, and oxium farm, I guess.

technically its not a tier 4 amp, the material costs alone point that out

What I see is cost of 10000 quills standing, I'm sure this is the highest cost for AMP BP

Capture Mission Changes:
Capture Targets now have a 1 minute Bleedout timer after being downed for 30 seconds, upon which Lotus will now alert you that you’re running out of time to capture the Target. Capture missions had become an unofficial Endless mission with the tactic of leaving the Target squirming on the ground for hours while players dealt with the never-ending horde of enemies. The Bleedout timer has been added as a countermeasure to fix the unintended Endless Capture missions.

Glad I already farmed my Oxium

Also in them Lith and Meso captures, I sometimes have to leave the capture target to bleedout so that the void enemies can spawn. But seriously up the spawn rate of corrupted enemies in void fissure missions because most of the time I'm just like great I don't have enough reactants because there are no void enemies and or I have to slow down the rate of finishing the mission so that the void enemies can spawn. The spawn rate of corrupted enemies in void fissure exterminate is excellent, so please make those void fissure missions like that.

It requires a T4 rank with the Quills. Therefore it's a T4 amp. Just like the Mote, Raplak, Shwaak, and Granmu prisms require T0, T1, T2, and T3 rank with the Quills, respectively.

Phahd Scaffold Changes & Fixes:

  • Fixed the Phahd Scaffold projectiles not passing through Volt’s Electric Shield.
  • Fixed the projectile only bouncing 3 times for the Host and 20 for Clients by adjusting to 10 max bounces for both Hosts and Clients.
  • Fixed receiving an unintended boost to Damage, Crit Chance, Crit Damage and Status Chance. Adjusted to its intended (Gilded) stats of:
    • 3000 Damage on Impact
    • 5 meter 3100 radial Damage with no fall off on detonation/last bounce
    • Knock Down added to radial Damage
    • 12% Status Chance
    • 34% Critical Chance
    • 2.6x Critical Damage

Did a little test in eidolon some minutes ago and I can say Raplak is better than Phahd.

Raplak

3000 Damage

38% Critical chance

2.6x Critical Damage

5 energy per shot against Phahd 20 energy per shot

With this big nerf I'm really trying to figure out where to use Phahd scaffold other than mr fodder.

So this basically nerfed the chance it had at maybe being part of the eidolon hunt meta.

It is now worse than the buffed T1 prism.

Also the discs still bounce off the eidolons and while it passes through volts shields it does not receive the crit dmg buff. (And even if it did it would still be worse than the T1 prism)

Still waiting for this to be addressed.

As far as I'm aware, this is intended. Zephyr's 3 and 4 weren't supposed to be one-handed actions and for most of their existence, they have been. They were briefly one-handed actions when DE broke some of Zephyr's animations, which they fixed relatively quickly (22.20.8)

It was definitely a glorious time when you could Turbulence while moving or reloading, and I certainly don't think it was game breaking. Just pointing out that as far as I know, DE considers this to be WAI. 😞

Well, I'm glad I've attained all the Oxium for the current set of crafted items. However, that means there aren't any other methods to attain Oxium consistently.

Is that the intent of the resource?

I understand some resources have a swap from Rare to Uncommon loot depending on the node the players chose to seek it out ( I. e, Mutagen Samples )but, It seems like a small oversight that changes the upgrade paths for players tremendously. I don't have numbers to reflect how much a player could attain from say a standard Corpus Defense/Survival ( 10 wave / 10 Mins  ) I'm sure it's scarce.

This change would make Nitain Extract and Oxium about even on rarity. Which makes sense for player pacing... it's just a bit exaggerated. I propose increasing the spawn rates of Oxium Ospery,

The change to Captures makes sense, but I've gotta point out that many people are using methods of farming like this because there aren't many options for horde farming without enemy scaling enemies.  This is something some people really want.

Maybe there could be some some way to give people non-endless high-enemy-density content at some point in the future?  Dunno, not really my shtick.

It's not even great at clearing out Vomvalysts. The homing feature is sufficiently inconsistent that you've got good odds of blowing 20 energy just to hit one, or indeed none at all because it swerved away into the ground. Only use I've found for it post nerf is bizarrely in regular missions; tight corridors give a lot more leeway to hit things with the ten rebounds, and it's got just enough damage to be useful against level 40 corpus trash mobs. Of course this is somewhat moot as you have normal much more powerful guns in those missions, plus I imagine it'd go much worse against armoured targets.

THIS. This, so very much. I don't care much about the farming impact of Oxium, but I do very much care about having a way to grind levels without the enemies scaling, chiefly because I very, very rarely enter public matchmaking (personal reasons).
