RNG on the PoE

Has some one else noticed something actually going wrong with the RNG on the Plains? Since the last big update I've made dozens of runs (on 2 days) on the Plains to farm both Wisps and Colors for my Dojo (Condroc White), I got something like 2 white and 1 wisp. I don't mind grinding for a bit, but that... I'm scratching my head as I bought 2 Boosters (Drop Chance and Double Drop) to speed up the process but now, seeing the result, I have to farm something else so that I don't loose all benefit from having these.

You shouldn't be able to get just one wisp with a resource doubler, as each pickup should count for 2.  Perhaps the purchase didn't go through.

are you farming during the day or night?

Resource Chance Booster don't work on your mentioned Items. There is a fixed (?) spawn count of wisps up to about 4 per day and 8 per night. As well as the Resource Chance Booster doesn't affect the spawnrate of enemies/animals

Thanks for the answers, but it should affect the chance they have to drop the colors though, no? 
I'll use them on something else then, always need some Polymers... XD
