[Void] Is It A Secret Room?

i'm sure many of you have seen this place, here are two screens:

 

could it be a secret room? anyone tried interacting with this wall? there's obviously a room behind it.

Pressure plate most probably.

That's the treasure room at the other end of the double-freeze strips. Both ends of that room have one.

To get to it, a few conditions must be met:

 

• The golden ornate door must be closed.
  
• You must step on the pressure plate in front of the door.
  
• This will open the wall on the opposite end of the freeze strips and activate traps in the room.
  
• You must reach this room within 15 seconds, or the door will close and can not be reopened.

 

Inside is a pressure plate to reopen the door, a canister or two that have a chance to drop mods, and several lockers.

What your seeing there is a closed vault. If you go to the area in that section with the lotus symbol hanging from the top there is typically a gate there which is activated bu a pressure plate on either side. In most cases these "Small vaults" we call them are already activated and closed off, but if they are "Open" then a pressure plate will open a gate and you will have about 10 seconds to run into that open door before it closes in an end result you see there.
