Is it true that this mod can cancel the DoT of toxin damage?

You can't cancel out all DoT toxin,  it reduces the amount you get hit with.

Ah sorry about that, I'm guessing that is more for the poison cloud that remains afterward, but it still doesn't fit right though. How can  a mod with a certain amount of resistance completely negate all damage from a poison cloud? It doesn't seem to be possible, I may have to test that theory out.

After being in a toxic cloud, you take some ticks of damage from the poison, That's what it negates.(Pre-U11, not sure entirely now, probably stops the proc effect)
