Melee weapons basic stats list

So i noticed that melee weapons in the game do not show it's stats only when you own it, and that's quite annoying to say the least, so i felt like doing a topic on the matter, since i'm swimming in money (in game credits i mean) and i don't know what to with it all, and i felt like adding to the community a bit. So:

Overview:

Melee dmg: Damage dealth with normal swings

rate: the speed of your swings

Range: distance wich the sword reaches

Charge speed: How fast you charge up a heavy attack

Charge dmg: damage done by heavy slashes

Crit chance: Chance of you dealing a critical strike

Crit dmg: the damage multipler if you land a critical hit

The upgrade improvement section talks about how many points the weapon gets in a certain area when upgraded with points, the basic improvement numbers for almost all weapons are these:

Melee dmg: + 2.50

Rate: + 0.10

range: + 0.20

Charge speed: + 0.10

Charge dmg: + 7.50

Crit chance: + 0.01

Crit damage: + 0.15

When a certain melee weapon present a different stat increase i will show it.

Melee slinding move

If you perform a melee attack while slinding you'll make a speacial fast paced move wich can deal the same ammount of damage as a charge attack from the same weapon. For example, a furax will make a uppercut move, wich sends enemies flying upwards. Most swords's slide attack consist of you rolling towards the position you're facing and performing a 180 horizontal slash.

Skana Sword:

Basic starter sword for any frame.

Melee dmg: 25.0

Rate: 1.00

Range: 1.00

Charge speed: 1.00

Charge dmg: 75.00

Crit chance: 0.05

Crit dmg: 1.50

Special: None that i'm aware of

Dual skana:

Dual wielded skanas with a unique attack animation, posess the same basic stats as the normal skana but with something extra.

Melee dmg: 25.0

rate: 1.0

range: 1.0

Charge speed:1.00

Charge dmg: 75.00

Crit chance: 0.05

Crit dmg: 1.50

Special: Can hit up to 3 enemies at once

Furax:

Punching gautlets wich serve as gloves while not being used, posess much shorter range compared to other weapons ( even tough their default range is the same as other swords stat wise).

Melee dmg: 25.0

rate:1.00

range:1.00 ( it does not have the same reach tough)

Charge speed: 1.00

Charge dmg: 150.00

Crit chance: 0.05

Crit damage: 1.50

Special: completely ignores enemy armor, wider Ground slam and high charge dmg.

Furax upgrade improvement:

Charge dmg: 15.00 instead of the usual 7.50

Bo Staff:

A long reach weapon, wich can knock people around from farther away ( also semms to ignore armor based on tests i made with it.)

Melee dmg: 25.00

Rate: 1.00

Range: 1.00

Charge speed: 1.00

Charge dmg: 75.00

Crit chance: 0.05

Crit dmg: 1.50

Special: Great reach and ignores armor

Blueprint only weapons

These weapons can only be acquired at this moment trough blueprints droped by bosses, to know where to get then check the topic on boss drops.

Cronus:

The first sword you can easily acquire with blueprints, posesses a unique design.

Melee dmg: 35.00

Rate: 1.25 ( the rate outside of the stat screen says 1.3, but it's not correct)

range: 1.00

charge speed: 1.00

Charge dmg: 75.00

Crit chance: 0.05

Crit dmg: 1.50

Special: Has great swing speed and basic swing damage

Cronus upgrade improvement:

Melee dmg: + 3.50 compared to the usual 2.50

Rate: + 0.13 comapred to the usual 0.10

Ceramic Dagger:

A simple dagger, wich borrows the cronus's icon image, wich dosn't semm to have anything special

Melee dmg: 25.00

Rate: 1.00

range: 1.00 ( probably as short as the Furax tough)

Charge speed: 1.00

Charge dmg: 75.00

Crit chance: 0.05

Crit dmg: 1.50

Special : Nothing, backstabs don't do higher damage or anything, unless you really like daggers i don't recomend this.

Pangolin Sword: ( info given by Aodhifa)

Semms extremely similar to the Cronus sword stat wise but it has less melee dmg, so it's currently weaker than the Cronus.

Melee dmg: 30.00

Rate: 1.30

Range: 1.00

Charge speed: 1.00

Charge dmg: 75.00

Crit chance: 0.05

Crit dmg: 1.50

Special: None currently known

Pangolin Sword upgrade improvement:

Melee dmg: 3.00 instead of the usual 2.50

Rate: 0.13 instead of the usual 0.10

Heat Sword: (info given by H3RO90)

Posesses the atribute of fire trough ground slams, and is also extremely fast with good normal attack damage, surely a great pick for a melee.

Melee dmg: 35

rate: 1.5

range: 1.00

Charge speed: 1.00

Charge dmg: 75.00

Crit chance: 0.05

Crit dmg: 1.50

Special: Slam attacks have the atribute of fire without the need of mods

Heat Sword upgrade improvement:

Melee dmg: 3.50 out of the usual 2.50

Rate: 0.15 out of the usual 0.10

Dark Dagger: (info added by Kreddy)

Semms to be a exact carbon copy of the ceramic dagger, with only a design change.

Melee dmg: 25.00

rate: 1.00

range: 1.00

Charge speed: 1.00

Charge dmg: 75.00

Crit chance: 0.05

Crit dmg: 1.50

Special: none as of yet

Plasma Sword: (added by Enjio)

Melee dmg: 25.00

Rate: 1.00

Range: 1.00

Charge speed: 1.00

Charge dmg: 125.00

Crit chance: 0.05

Crit dmg: 1.50

Plasma Sword upgrade improvement:

Charge dmg: + 12.50 instead of the usual 7.50

Jaw Sword: ( added by Enjio)

Melee dmg: 35.00

rate: 1.00

Range: 1.00

Charge speed: 1.00

Charge dmg: 75.00

Crit chance: 0.05

Crit dmg: 1.50

Jaw Sword upgrade improvement:

Melee dmg: 3.50 instead of the usual 2.50

I plan on adding the rest later but for now that's all the info i got. Also if anyone has any of the other sword/daggers could you please add the info below so i could update this? Thanks.

I don't know how true is this, but it seems, that Furax has wider jump-down AOE.

At least, one Furax slam destroyed almoast all reactor pipes, while other melee weapons, destroy only 1/4 or 1/3

My slam with a sword usually destroy 2/3 or more of a reactor, i think you just didn't hit on the right place with then.

Is there any difference in upgrade increases stat wise? Also is the Charge damage the same? If so it semms that dagger is just like the ceramic one...

I don't know how true is this, but it seems, that Furax has wider jump-down AOE.

I just tested it, and as much as the sword slam is not as small as you said it was the furax slam is indeed bigger, i destroyed the whole reactor with a single ground slam with it.

Put the number of MOD slots also!!!! The "Pangolin Sword"

All weapons have the same number of slots... 3 for normal and 7 for PRO weapons, i just checked and the Cronus also as 7 mod slots when it goes PRO.

Thanks for the info on the sword btw, if you could check how much of a damage increase it gets for each time you upgrade it i'd apreciate it alot.

Isn't every upgrade on all melee weapons just a 10% increase (except crit chance)? Naturally a weapon with a difference base stat is gonna have a difference in raw numbers per upgrade, but it seems weird to have a special section pointing this out on every weapon.

I'm just making sure to point out exactly how much of a increase it is so people can have a easier time instead of calculating it... besides it dosn't really take long to look.

Heat Sword

Dmg: 35

Rate: 1.5 (fastest sword atm)

Range: 1.0

Accuracy: 100

Charge Dmg: 75

Crit Chance: 0.05

Crit Dmg: 1.50

Special: When you jump and press E on any target that target will burn on fire.

It does somewhat higher damage but not charge attack one.

With upper or shoryuken i deal 85 damage with Furax, while charge base value is 150. Probably upper doesn't ignore armor, i guess.

+ it doesn't take charge attack mods and ups in count.

Also Furax does have larger AoE and it goes in bigger sphere. Overall i think we need stat for AoE, so there will be option to Furax.

Furax destroy whole reactor in 1 hit + it AoE range can go behind corners.

Thing is all the other melee weapons semm to posess the exact same AoE range, so right i feel like it's unecessary, maybe later when they revamp some of the sword stats and chance the AoE range for some then i'll take that into consideration on the list.

jaw sword

dmg 3.5

rate 1.0 (seems slower)

its special so far is that it ignores interuptions of your heavy charge.

Sometimes i don't get interrupted while charging a heavy melee as well... i think that might be your case, or are you using the rhino warframe?
