Because every reward can't be 100% amazingly great. Because this game needs to survive through plat sales. Because this game is nearly 100% free to play. Because DE wanted it to be a reward.

i would agree with you, if 2k endo wasnt a slap to the face, because it is purely a punishment. 4k would be acceptable to me if it was the common reward, and the uncommon moved up to 6-8k, but currently, you can farm 2k endo in less time most sorties take without the insane game changes.

  2. Last time i got this challenge, i used Ivara's sleep arrow on a nice close group of enemies, then pulled out synoid gammacor. personally i use orokin defense, since those butchers have very clear heads and their shoulders slump.

this is possibly the most sold riven challenge, and with a few minutes in defence, its super easy with patience. 3 butchers lined up on the pod, sleep them, their heads all hang forward executioner style. easy peasy

  3. she really doesnt need any buff. she has the 1 thing no one else has anymore, 100% invulnerability for a set duration.

it was removed from rhino, and now she has this godly power. only difference is rhino had access to all his weapons, which made everyone cry. currently, she has a place in this current meta, and thats to stay alive in BS situations and revive those who cant take 1 shot from a level 80+ enemy.

even though excaliburs new ult makes him near invincible, hes still killable.

  4. i would hope you realize there is a TON OF CONTENT COMING THEY ARENT TELLING YOU ABOUT!

frankly, they have always said they never will say more then 1 or 2 patches away, and even some of the stuff in other forum sections havent even been publicly announced.

theres a ton of stuff coming, and some of it is pretty amazing. just because a large number of people have finished all the current content, does not mean there wasnt plenty, and isnt more coming.

if youre bored, make a new account and play it again. or dont, whatever.

  5. or how about a player whos blinded is given "bubble vision".

"bubble vision" is a bubble you cant see through. vision depth is a common source of bubble vision to regulate rendering in large scale maps for many mmos. rather then have this giant real player blinding light, have PvP blinds act in this bubble.

start each blind at a small radius, the duration being how fast the bubble grows, or how fast this black bubble fades, etc., and each additional blind shrinking/darkening the bubble back to its first state. you can still see your frame and close proximity (as you should, since you cant FEEL your frame, you should at least see what they can feel.) and more as time passes.

smite uses this http://i.ytimg.com/vi/d9l-av9uz5I/hqdefault.jpg. granted, in that game, that range is very limiting, and in warframe it can be much smaller then that.

  6. trust me when i say this: you can get more out of the game if you dont go to draco. reasons why;

    - wider array of mods to collect

    - you can complete the maps for more mastery rank

    - you become more versatile as a player by becoming involved in many different situations, rather then just standing and spamming 4 or 3.

    - people in draco farms tend to be A******s, judging you if you are even 2% off a max build for whatever youre there for

    - ruk is just as viable for farming cells, and parties tend to run fast on him

    - even if you max out your frames or weapons, your mods are still mediocre. you need that collection from all sorts of enemies, and draco doesnt support that.

there are more reasons, but really, youre better off just ignoring draco.

  7. this has been happening to more and more people with each update. something is compounding in each patch to cause more and more people to become unstable.

its not even crappy computers. there are multiple threads of high end rigs becoming bogged down.

me thinks its nearing the time to wipe XP compatibility off the game.

  8. there is no real way to make this happen.

    1. what if a player loses connection? they are just to accept that they lost their key and any chances at whatever rewards the mission was on? no one would agree to that risk. everyone gets their keys refunded? great. they just wasted all that time setting up a group and running those missions only to have to start over. no one wants their time wasted.

    2. you cant require everyone to have a key, because once the first person uses their key, its gone. now every mission after that suspends them because they have no key.

    3. think you got a loop hole for 2 by giving them a grace period? great, you now give said person an ability to scam other groups with said grace period. lock it to the party? one person leaves, the party isnt the same. and they have no key, so they are suspended since its a different party. a pool to start? someone DCs, now they cant get in the party, and 3 people get to use the key they worked for. theres no way around it.

    4. lets speculate that everyone gets the perfect set of runs (1 of each part in a row). should the last person really have to give up their key that they can use to help friends just because everyone agreed to use all the keys? no body needs the part at that point, so it is just wasting the key. even with a pool system as you suggest, who gets the key? a roulette? more RNG? i thought we were going for LESS RNG.

    5. the recruiting/trade chat states EVERY TIME YOU OPEN IT that they DO NOT ENDORSE TRUSTING HONOR TRADES. "key sharing" is an honor trade, which is warned to you. every time. you CHOOSE to take that risk.

so all in all, DE should do nothing. when i finally use my key, it will be for a friend in need, as i was lucky enough to get a group where everyone only needed the 1 part, and we got it in 2 runs.

  9. this has gone far beyond stupid.

    i7-4790 @ 3.6

    16GB Ram

    GeForce GTX 745 @ 4GB

all these rigs listed in this topic are fantastic machines, and they are falling off in performance. there is no excuse for this.

who's performance are you improving? XP users?

EDIT: after messing with ingame options and testing out various settings to see where performance tanks, the biggest culprit turns out to be character shadows for me. depth of field has minor jitters, but its not an option i care to have on personally.

seems sketchy for shadows to be such a FPS hog. perhaps im missing something.

  10. ive been having massive performance drops since U16.6.

brand new PC, ran tubemen flawlessly. after U16.6, everything went to S#&$. its almost as if theres massive amounts of packet loss going on, though i have no idea why that would be. tried all the performance tips on the forum to no avail. this new PC is pretty high-end too, and its frustrating that the game has become playable on up-to-date hardware.

for the life of me i cant figure out anything to get the game to play right. something changed in 16.6 and its compounding with something in 16.7. i dont believe they know exactly whats causing it either, because the dupe effects fix changed nothing.

  11. itd feel better if its charge worked like the miter. holding long enough (what, 1, 1.5 seconds?) would throw, releasing faster then that (plenty of time) would do a standard melee attack.

at least then you wouldnt have to strike a menacing pose before cutting off someones head. feels like being a boss in a game and telegraphing your attack, which isnt very ninja.

  12. i believe they wanted to have a dual version when they made the marelok. something in the dev stream it came out round was a viable reason as to why its too complicated right away to make a dual version.

odds are high that it will happen eventually.

  13. to be honest, i dont think we should have crewman running around with these things, specifically because of that lanka of theirs.

id much prefer if this tech was actually taken off them, and placed on railgun moas. you can see when they are gonna fire, their damage output is never a complaint even when they can hit like trucks, and theyve needed some love since their initiation.

railgun moas are pushovers, so ditch the nullifier crewman and make railgun moas the new nullifiers. more so, give railgun moas an overhaul, make them more unique, perhaps a new model with a tripod walker sort of system to improve their stability instead of this goofy looking animation they currently have of nearly knocking themselves over with each fire.
