Or, you know, dem vets should stop being so entitled and deal with it, cause getting the zenistar (or any of the log in rewards) is not a difficult task at all. Don't give them preferential treatment, it'll go to their heads and split the community even further.

Or, you know, these days dem 'noobs' think they should have every danm thing right away, when a 'vet' did 300 days of logins for that stuff.

That's something different then a 'treatment'

And i don't mind if DE changes the login reward system, but when i hear boys like you talking, i hope it never happens.

    you are being very rude.

as someone who has extensive knowledge of statistics (and obviously you don't), I can confirm that post you replied to is correct both in mathematics and in the interpretation. getting what you got is absolutely within the norm of what DE has said.

as the op pointed out, just because it's "working as intended" doesn't mean it's fine. I am not farming axi s3 exactly because of the drop rate, and because I know what I could expect.

either apology to that person for being rude, or just be ignorant and don't accept what is numerically correct.

    Naaa,

He wasn't that rude except for the emotionally loaded "are you out of your mind?" thing. That's not a real personal attack, because it's a question.
You're the one being rude, look:
"as someone who has extensive knowledge of statistics (and obviously you don't)"

He didn't say 1 word that was personal attackish.

    You did.

    Now apologize.

Probably. The main reason this is happening is coz people just build CO and Blood Rush build on everything.

And the main reason for that is, that you're stupid if you don't.
DE gave us those mods. You think they didn't expect we'd use them?

If you're trying to say that making 420-450 plat's worth of Endo in an hour is "normal" then you have a very loose grasp on this game's economy.

Because not everyone plays the game like it's their job. DE themselves have gone down on record saying they don't want people to have to invest time into the game like that. This goes directly against that philosophy. Umbra was supposed to be a solution to the Excal Prime problem. Saying it's meant for "end game players" when the only real barrier is star map progression is completely baseless. Your arguments are really starting to sound like a case of "works for me".

Ok so, Some of us play warframe as it's their work. And you obviously have a job somewhere else.
Means some of us are more succesfull in warframe and you probably in some other stuff.

If they want the stuff you are more succesfull in, what will you say?
You'll say "If you want the same, you gotta work for it"

Why would it need to be any different with warframe?

  5. The fact is: DE gave us something we have to polarize again. It's not going away. After that the next umbra will come, etc.
And after that, maybe those umbra polarities will come available, so we have to forma everything again.
But it's a long way from now.

    That's the way it is.

  6. We have aoe damage, strong single target damage, cc, tanks, healers, energy providers, armor strip, shield destroyers.  All the ingredients for proper teamplay is there. But nooooo..

everyone needs to do 25% damage in a game, otherwise nerf.

This is going the wrong way.

And you like to stay 1 cm from the ass of your teammates to get some armor buff?

If u like it ok but Chroma is a tank damage dealer not a support.

Even if now is considered a support his buff to squad is very bad, you have to play with 3 chroma to get a good buff.

    Not worth

Nope, you quoted seprent and he quoted someone who said something about oneshotting with chroma through volt shield. So i was refering to that.

Completely no, can you find a sense to nerf Chroma and not immortal warframe or equinox nuke? Or just gara that have a greater damage reduction? ( don't nerf Gara too just buff Chroma, he need great buff).

Ow, i thought working together to get max damage output didn't make sense to you. My bad.

Nerfs (just like buffs) are a critically important power tool. Depending on the context of the situation, nerfs can be much more effective than buffs.

Players need to learn to suck it up and stop having such melodramatic allergic reactions to the mere concept of a nerf.

Can nerfs go too far? For sure. Does DE frequently miss the root cause of the problem and implement nerfs that completely fail to make a difference? Absolutely (A good example being Slash damage calculating procs off of only Slash; this doesn't actually nerf slash's source of power)!

But nerfs that go too far are when you apply a buff to take it back the other direction (e.g., what Gara needs), just not quite as far.

We need to grow up and accept that sometimes things need to get nerfed.

DE shouldn't have to go through ridiculous balance contortions to avoid triggering players who can't stand the mere thought of doing slightly less damage than they did yesterday. DE trying to do just that is what gets us suck with lackluster balance to begin with.

    NERFS AREN'T EVIL.

Badly implemented or designed nerfs suck, yes, but they aren't permanent. And DE could make changes a lot more flexibly if players would stop frothing at the mouth every time a nerf shows up in the patch notes.

Back at you. I also think DE could make changes a lot better if players would stop crying for nerfs for everything that's strong in this game. Maybe they could pay attention to important bugs in the game maybe?
The words META and powercreep are toxic for warframe and will result in dramatically decrease of warframe players if they keep using these words on the forum and DE listens to them.

Unless they change the entire game.

  10. We need some serious awesomeness in the new melee, DE!
You take away a few of the strong points of a slide attack and we really need something in return. Hey, just being honest.

In order to make a succes out of the new melee combat system you could need a fantastic ground slam attack. And I think you know it because you're already on it.
Now from what I've seen, you're close, but not there yet. IMO ofcourse. But who am I, right?
    So here's one idea:

Make the charged attack available in mid air again. So we can have charged attacks towards the ground but also forward direction.

Let us keep the momentum and velocity from the jump/bulletjump we did while charging melee, but also from the weapon we use when we launch the attack. That way you get a learning curve so if we (ab)use them, everyone is ok with it because of the "skilled ground slammers are great warframe meleeplayers and we don't have a problem with that!" factor.
    And ofcourse, make it stronger!

    It's gonna be awesome!

    Oh yeah!

If I am correct, there are currently 26 primed mods available in game. That alone is over 1 million Endo. While they certainly aren't all needed, that amount of Endo is not coming anytime soon....at all. I don't mean to say it should, I'm saying for new players, current rewards feel like a pittance compared to what is needed to really unlock the potential of these mods and by extensions frames and weapons AKA the game's content

We were all new players once. you think we maxed those mods in a blink of an eye? No, we put a lot of effort in it and It took a lot of time.

Quote below this should be your favourite one now:

Fusion Energy is literally available everywhere in ridiculous quantities. the Resource is a complete joke. Endless Missions award large amounts of it already, Sorties literally have a ~40% Chance to give you several thousand, from the tends of thousands of random Mods you find on the ground you have hundreds of thousands more there.... there's already such a ridiculous amount of this Resource available.
    are you serious?

if you want a super efficient way to get Fusion Energy, organized Squads in Rathuum is still what you're looking for. miles and miles ahead of other Missions in the game, and that isn't to say the others don't give you more than plenty. you also complete it real friggin' fast too, since it's basically an Exterminate vs Minibosses.
or in other Missions, easily getting several thousand from the Mission Rewards + another thousand or more from the extra Mods you found on the ground. that's.... so much. if you bought a couple copies of a Primed Mod from Void Trader (or more, 4-6 copies of any 10 Rank Mod is nice to have, one max, and an extra one 2 ranks down from the last down to 4 pips - flexibility is very nice to have), you could upgrade one to full with plenty of time to spare before Void Trader even comes back, let alone comes back with another Primed Mod (since he may not have one the next time).
    >.>

hell, you could have the Fusion Energy to upgrade all of the 10 Rank Mods that actually get used (so excluding like Melee Status Duration, Provoked, Et Cetera) within a few weeks of active play time thesedays. you'll have the Fusion Energy to upgrade all of these Mods long before the Credits even, with Raids being no longer available.

feel free to find Missions that have a lot of Fusion Energy and are to your liking, there's a lot of choices even if you don't want to do the high efficiency ones.

technically that's for the PC build but the Reward Pools aren't different on Consoles, this just could include Missions that Console hasn't gotten in an update yet (this isn't the case currently, would only be the case for a short time after any major Update).

Lv20+ Excavation/Survial, LV20+ Sabotage, Onslaught, Bounties - just to name a few all award a lot of Fusion Energy(and ofcourse Sorties as mentioned but that's not really something you can play since it's a once a day thing). Rathuum is still the best ofcourse but that's an organized thing.

all in all it sounds like you've gone and purchased a whole bunch of 'Endgame' sort of Mods, but don't really have a use for them yet. if you haven't finished upgrading all of your Vanilla, Nightmare/Dual Stat, and Corrupted Mods - then very few of the Primed Mods are even very useful to you yet. those Mods are more important overall.

kinda moreso rare that you find it - the Chance that there is a Statue in a Mission you start is 12.5% - so fairly often there actually is a Statue in the Mission!

So, this is how you guys sound: press play and sing with meeee!
