  1. Can confirm this has been happening to me as well since the Umbra update. I main Mag but as people have stated in this thread the issue is not exclusive to Mag. Hitboxes are just totally #*!%ed right now and I'm unable to register or land hits on all kinds of different enemies in different situations.

  2. Topic.

Unloading full magazines in to enemies and doing 0 damage to them. Tested with various hitscan primary and secondary weapons on multiple tilesets/planets.

    Been happening since Umbra patch.

Just question did you play on earth Plains of Eidolon? If yes there is currently issue with enemy - desync they different place played yesterday and today with mirage to quest a bit.Enemy is out of sync place and 99% of the shoots did not hit exception aoe hits with mirages 1st ability.

Has nothing to do with Plains of Eidolon. It's happening in all mission types on all planets with all my hitscan guns currently and this has only been an issue since Umbra came out. WTF is going on DE? I'm unloading full magazines in to enemies and doing ZERO damage.

Aw nuts, I intended for the cloth to stick to the abdomen, above the belly button. :/

This is more or less why I'd prefer for it to just be an auxiliary item at this point.

When I first saw the concept art for Mag Deluxe I was very much looking forward to it but not so much anymore with how much the cloth has changed in the end product vs the concept.

In the concept the cloth was shorter and hugged her body more. The end product however is far too long - the physics on it don't behave properly at all and the cloth often bends at a 90 degree angle sticking back in to Mag's chest when you run and jump around.

The other "issue" with the cloth is that your secondary colour determines the colour of the cloth as well as the bulk/majority colour of Mag (her arms, legs and torso) so you can't even really contrast the cloth from Mag's overall body colour - an oversight or poor design choice if you ask me. It should be the primary, tertiary or accent colour (whichever one works the best after some testing and consideration) that determines the cloth colour, not the secondary.

I'll just keep rockin my Toroidal helmet and Knaita skin for now and cross my fingers that they make the cloth an auxiliary item some time in the near future - there's no obvious reason for it not to be.

  5. Since my own thread about the tit cloth got deleted here's a bump. I second OP's notion, sort of - make the tit cloth an auxiliary item. I thought at first that pinning the lower corners to her body would be a good idea as well but after some consideration I just straight up don't like it at all.

I will not be buying this skin unless the cloth is made an optional accessory.

Um...you can trade for one for 5 plat, buy a greater lens for 40, or even ask a friend

I don't really see a problem with how it is rn

This. You have other avenues for acquiring lenses. You can run derelict and void mission for prime parts that people will pay you platinum for and you can use that platinum to buy lenses (and other things you desire).

Seriously though some of these ideas are great. But at the same time like someone else said in this thread, there are so many bad mods at present that don't get used at all that could probably get reworked first, or at least removed from the game.

I'm think DE has statistics about the least used mods (as they do with Warframes and weapons) and some kind of mod overhaul is probably already in the works I'm sure with the fusion overhaul that's happening. Here's hoping at least some ideas similar to yours are implemented.

  8. So basically I had the pleasure of stumbling in to region chat today during a period of time when someone was misbehaving and chat mods were present (yes, more than 1) and instead of doing their job and dealing with the offending user in an appropriate, swift, and drama-free manner (kicking them from chat), 1 of them decided it would be a good idea to instead belittle and slander the offending user in front of everyone else.

The mod in question even pointed out numerous times how the user was infringing the ToS...yet he refused to remove him from chat and instead opted to leave him there so he could speak ill of him in front of everyone else.

What makes them think that doing this is any better than the poor behavior the user him or herself was initially displaying in the first place?

What makes them think this is acceptable behavior on their part?

What makes them think that because they are chat moderators that they are entitled to do the very things they are there to stop other people from doing in the first place?

I really don't understand what business they have keeping other people in check if they can't even keep themselves in check.

I mean for crying out loud the moderator was practically giving the player more fuel and more reason to misbehave even more by taunting him and provoking him.

Why are people like this given moderation privileges? I'd like to think that at least moderators are more mindful of the things they say about other people and how they conduct themselves in front of the rest of the community.

I've played Warframe for a little over a year now but I don't frequent region chat so this kind of thing is new to me. Is this a common occurrence here in Warframe?

I mean the kind of example being set here for other players is that it's ok for them to talk sh!t about other people...and then they go and do that, and then get banned and say "Well the mods are doing it too so why can't I?".

There's like, double standards, irony, hypocrisy and contradiction happening here all at the same time.

Why is purple text even a thing if all mods are gonna do is showboat around with it? Let players decide who they want and don't want to take action against for poor conduct via the report/ticket system like it exclusively is in most games. I think we're mostly all mature enough to moderate our own behavior and putting someone on ignore solves problems 99% of the time.

This isn't elementary school - we don't need hall monitors. Most inter-player conflicts only get to the point where 1 or both players feel like a report/ticket is warranted because either player didn't first think to just put the person they are having the conflict with on ignore in the first place and allowed the conflict to exceed a point they are capable of tolerating.

  9. Has anyone actually bothered to read information about Vay Hek located here? http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Councilor_Vay_Hek

Obviously if he heals himself by consuming other Grineer in the vicinity, bringing a mod like Enemy Sense or Enemy Radar or Animal Instinct is critical to completing this sortie so you can acquire targets fast and take them down promptly before Hek consumes them to heal himself. Doing damage to Hek is not a priority - killing his adds is.

Have people never raided before? In any game? This is a fairly common boss mechanic. Someone in this thread had the audacity to say bosses self-healing is a no-no in any game? Like what? It's a mechanic that's fairly simple to circumvent if you pay attention.

Can we please stop asking for nerfs when proper strategy and proper modding isn't even being utilized against what you're asking to be nerfed?

This sortie is not impossible - it's far from it. It's not hard, and it doesn't take "too long" either.

It takes paying attention and being properly equipped for the situation.

Was playing solo recently. Getting attacked from the front, when  I was knocked down by a Bursa I never saw coming. Then, while still down, I was grappled and pulled for several seconds.

    1. Get a squad? It's a team game, after all

    2. Not only does Lotus send you a transmission saying a Bursa has been triggered but Bursas themselves also give off several audio queues when they are released and begin advancing towards you. They make sounds very distinct from other Corpus units and let out "cries" and "shrieks". Bursas aren't ninjas LOL. Why do you need to see a Bursa coming when you can hear it coming from a mile away? Maybe you should turn back on your transmissions and play with sound? A large part of being good at this game involves picking up on the many audio queues that the game gives you...you know that, right? loolfaceplz.png?1

There is no excuse for design this poor. It is neither fun nor challenging, the degree to which Warframe relies on this garbage. It is bad design. It needs to end.

So in a nutshell you think Warframe is/has:

    - poor design
    - not fun
    - not challenging
    - fueled by garbage
    - bad design

And you're still playing it because...?

The onlyst problem i ever had with bursas, where i couldnt defeat it, was on sorties where on a defense last wave a bursa spawns and i had no ammo left. meele against them is near pointless because of the turn rate and even if you have a kubrow as damage tank, with meele it ist still quite pointles.

Something like this can easily be circumvented by using ammo restores.

And Kubrows are surprisingly effective against Bursas if properly modded. I often completely ignore Bursas when they come out unless I need to kill them on an Exterminate mission and pretty much whenever I ignore them my Kubrow ends up running off and killing them on her own anyways.

A Kubrow with max shield and health and armor link and a prime collar has nearly 2k HP and 2k Shields and over 150 armor making them great tanks.

A kubrow with a max rank Bite and Maul has a 1 in 3 chance of critting and crits for something like over 6k damage. Huras Kubrow's Hunt works just like Rhino's charge and is an effective AoE skill too. It's not uncommon at all to see my Kubrow dash in to a mob of enemies just to 1-shot them and send them all flying and ragdolling away.

Loved that part in the last devstream. Bursa showed up and just wrecked Rebecca even though she was doing fine against everything else.

Not modded properly? Well, she had no problem with literally every other mob on that level. What makes Bursas so special so they should the single most dangerous thing in the field? In fact, why would she need to do specific mod set ups for lvl 25?

All other Corpus units are a joke - if you think all other Corpus units besides Bursas are suppose to be equal in power to Bursas or that Bursas should be equal in power to other Corpus units you are sadly mistaken.

I would not take Mag to a Corpus mission without Shield Transference. It means having the difference between having 1k Shields and 2.5k shields and 2.5k shields is easily enough to soak up some Bursa rockets. When Rebecca was on stream she literally ate the whole entire rocket barrage without a Shield Transference.

    5 hours ago, EvilChaosKnight said:

introduce some oversized chicken with the firepower and armor of M1A2 Abrams while everyone else is made of wet tissue paper and fire BB guns at you

Bursas are supposed to be mini tanks. Why can't people seem to get that? Why do people think they need to be easy or should be easy? Why are people so adamant about not dying to Bursas once in a while? Why are they so obsessed with having a 100% mission completion rate? Who cares if a Bursa kills you or causes you to fail a mission once in a while?

Is everyone in this thread complaining about Bursas really having such a hard time with them that they're being stopped from playing or advancing in the game? I really highly doubt that - however if that is the case then maybe it's time for them all to find a less "frustrating" game than Warframe to play.

The worst part of this was shown by Rebecca on devstream 71. "Oh, a Bursa! Screw that, I'm outta here. *dies*". And they don't consider this an issue.

She wasn't even properly modded for the level. She was versing Corpus enemies and didn't even have Shield Transference. Please try to come up with a better example than this. She was only there to demonstrate the Mag rework and show off the new weapons - who knows what mods she had on. She was also literally just standing there soaking up Bursa damage. The reworked bullet Attractor went down and the Bursa's rockets were not contained.

Were you even watching the stream? Be honest.

If you're going to make a point here at least don't blatantly omit information.

Deal with it by cheesing them or eat revives, i see.

If Warframe was real life and I possessed the same abilities as a Warframe then I'd be killing Bursas them by cheesing them too...just sayin'.

I mean they're basically miniature tanks - deal with them as quickly and as efficiently as possible or prepare to face the consequences of allowing them to live long enough.

it's kind of a bummer for warframes that do not have their own CC.

Weapons can be modded to provide CC. CC is only 1 way to deal with them. The Cold status is a great way of CCing a Bursa. They can also be dealt with by being out-maneuvered...the choice is yours to make.

    @Verdegrand

They fire a cluster bombardment  at range. Direct hit, and even grazing hit, is most likely instant death for most frames at level 80-100, never mind the ground sphere that does damage over time that kills just as fast. The only safe spot to be with them is behind them. If anything they acquire target too quickly, if they had a visual indicator they are about to fire or something of that nature it would be reasonable (time to get behind them).

The cluster rockets have limited range and large spread. Once you are a certain distance away from them they are rendered useless. Your frame can travel faster than the rockets can travel and it's not difficult at all to deny the rockets of line-of-sight by purposely getting the bursa to shoot at you as you run behind nearby cover. However I wouldn't recommend stopping behind whatever object or obstacle it is you are luring the rockets in to and instead keep running to avoid the blast. By the time you've gained this distance there's more than enough time for you to take your time to counter-attack the Bursa before it launches another attack against you.

Bursas are only fast going in a straight line and their maneuverability is equal to a steaming pile of dog poo. It's really easy to overtake them in combat just by being highly mobile yourself.

Spawn them in the simulator play with them without CC, it's just not what I would call fun.

I'm sure it isn't fun but the point of Bursas is in the first place is to put a little bit of pressure on you and I'm not going to purposely handicap myself by not CCing a Bursa when CCing them is one of the key tactics in defeating them. Why would you choose not to bring CC to a mission where you know how utterly valuable it is?

If you wanna do that in solo-play to challenge yourself then go ahead. But in a squad with other people during sorties? That's just a d-bag move. You should always be bringing frames and weapons with you that contribute to your team.

  17. 1 minute ago, LazyKnight said:

Go to the simulator and summon a level 100 bursa, of the drover type, and then tell me their damage is fine.

It's avoidable damage so what's the problem? If you don't like how hard they hit then don't get hit by one. You have plenty of tools at your disposal to dispose of enemies at a distance, without taking damage yourself.

Warframe's engine and control mechanics arguably grant you the highest level of maneuverability of any game like it that I've seen. Why are you taking Bursa damage when you can basically fly around them?
