[Cant Join Or Invite 1 Friend But Can Through Others]

so me and a friend have been playing now for a while but are still unable to accept and invite from 1 another, thought if we have any other friends invite us both we can join no problem. We have both long finished the starting quest and we can both play with other people, I'm lost as warframe is the only game we played that we have had trouble connecting to each other.
