  1. First off i personally, do not know if this is currently known by other people i have looked for such a build and i cannot seem to find anything like it.

so that's why i wasted 3 hours doing this, anyway.

I also take credit for this kind build if it becomes popular :).    ( interpret this as you may. )

BEFORE I START THE MAIN DESCRIPTION I AM AWARE OF STATUS/CONDITION OVERLOAD BUILDS, THIS GETS RID OF THE ANNOYING SLOW ATTACK SPEED AND SLOW START ( Relatively ).

I DO NOT USE MAIMING STRIKE, IT IS A RARE AND EXPENSIVE MOD, AND IT TAKES THE FUN OUT OF USING MELEE.

So, as an avid user of melee weapons in warframe, I've always wanted to make my melee my main weapon and as you know melee haven't been the best. They never have been able to really match the DPS of any secondary or primary.

With the introduction of Blood Rush, That was changed for the most part and it really made melee viable to a certain extent.

I have taken some of my time to make a post with stats that will hopefully show you a build that is both, very strong and comfortable to use.

    TEST INFO-

( ALL BUILDS WILL BE TESTED WITH A 100 CORRUPTED HEAVY GUNNER WITH NO STEEL CHARGE, WARFRAME ABILITIES OR ARCANE(S) SO TESTS AREN'T SUSCEPTIBLE TO FLUCTUATIONS IN KILL TIME/HITS )

TIMER IS STARTED AS SOON AS THE ENEMY IS HIT

WEAPON- GALATINE PRIME DUE TO 20% STATUS AND 20% CRIT BALANCE

STANCE- TEMPO ROYALE, ONLY SPAMMING THE BUTTON MASH COMBO, ( only pressing the meele button. )

BLOOD RUSH WAS RANK 8 SO DAMAGE COULD BE HIGHER

    A basic Blood Rush Build for example would be as follows;

    CRIT

    I  Berserker  I  Pressure point  I  Organ Shatter  I  True steel  I

    I  Fury  I  Blood rush  I  Life Strike  I  Body Count  I

    Results-

    Counter; ~63 hits

    Time to kill; ~22 secs

Not awful, but seems a little annoying to wail on the same enemy. for an average of 20 seconds dealing little damage to use Life Strike to its potential.

Naturally, people would now drift towards a crit/status hybrid build for more DPS to help with scaling armor.

    Crit/Status hybrid; HYBRID

    I  Berserker  I  Pressure point  I  Virulent scourge  I  Voltaic strike  I

    I  Fury  I  Blood rush  I  Life Strike  I  Body Count  I

    Results-

    Counter; 50~ hits

    Time to kill; 17~ seconds

Much better, now that armor is strippable and that damage can start seeping through.

Now we come to my personal build. And you might be like boyy what are you doin. but shh. trust me.

    OVERCRIT

    I  Berserker  I  Pressure point  I  Voltaic strike  I  Virulent Scourge  I

    I Condition Overload I  Blood rush  I  Life Strike  I  Fury  I

    Results.

    Counter; ~30

    Time To kill; ~10 seconds

As you can see my build is more efficient at killing, as well as the damage numbers are higher, therefore making life strike more viable and effective.

Now, that's solo testing, now onto group testing!

Groups will consist of 4 level 100 Corrupted Heavy bombards, and 4 level 100 Corrupted heavy gunners. Now, i choose these specific targets, because if it can kill these, it can kill pretty much anything else, MUCH, MUCH faster. THE BASIC BUTTON MASH COMBO WILL BE USED FOR THIS TEST.

Enemies were also allowed to separate to simulate a more realistic environment where enemies aren't right next to each other.

Each test will be done 3 times each and the time will be listed for each.

    Test 1, CRIT BUILD.

    Results

    Counter; 316 //// 290 //// 310

    Time to kill; 2m 5s //// 1m 50s //// 1m 58s

A trend i saw doing this was, i was doing no damage with hits themselves, but the slash procs were the only thing doing any real damage.

    Test 2, HYBRID BUILD.

    Counter; 249 //// 241 //// 262

    Time to kill; 1m 40s //// 1m 35s //// 1m 42s

This took a lot more than 3 times each, the bombards kept being cheeky and knocking each other over opening up for ground finishers, which i excluded those attempts due to ground finisher DPS.

Test 3, OVERCRIT. (counter doesn't exist in this test, only time due to the lack of body count.)

    Time to kill; 1m 9s //// 53s //// 1m 1s ////

So, as you can see, overall the overcrit build was the most effective against them, and i personally think i came up with a build that is not only the most effective, but also the best feeling build.

    Overview for Overcrit Build

    Pros!

    -High scaling dps

-Allows for better usage of life strike due to large crits

-You don't have to rely on combo counter for DPS and/or wait for it to build up to do good dps.

-Comfortable attack speed with berserker (depending on the weapon you use this on, you don't need fury.)

    Cons!

It will only apply to weapons with Decent critical AND status chance, so you're relatively limited on your options.

You may need forma to use this build, For my exact mods, you need at least 1 V polarity and a matching stance mod.

Advice on how to use the build and what weapons that i recommend! Also other weapon tests.

The build will always consist of both condition overload and Blood rush simultaneously.

I'd recommend using at least two elements, I've experimented with using viral with slash weapons and it does some really really good damage, but usually your best bet will just be corrosive. also i tend to use a dual stat and a normal elemental for damage.

Weapons with 15% crit and 25% Status or higher seem to work the best, 10% crit weapons work.

Also i always use life strike no matter what, you don't have to for more DPS

I'd recommend using stances that have multi hit combos and procs, as they'll give you a higher and faster chance of proc'ing status which will multiply damage.

    Silva & Aegis Final Harbinger

TTK against 100 Corr Heavy Gunner ; 6.31s

Mios Defiled Snapdragon block combo used

TTK against 100 Corr Heavy Gunner ; 3.95s

    Venka Prime Vermillion Storm

TTK against 100 Corr Heavy Gunner ; 7.23s

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mios, specifically is just silly with this build.

    I  Shocking Touch I  Virulent Scourge  I  Pressure Point I  Berserker  I

I  Life Strike  I  Vicious Frost  I  Condition Overload  I  Blood Rush  I

Souhhh uhm. i'm done now. i spent like 4 hours on this. relpy or whatever if you want. i just wanted to bring this (kind of build) to light. there's gonna be mistakes in this, don't point them out and be mean to me. ( i lied i like constructive criticism )

If you have any questions ill be watching this thread for the most part and i'm willing to answer you :)

  2. DISCLAIMER- I AM IN NO WAY SAYING THAT DE COPIED ANYTHING FROM THESE GAMES I WAS JUST SAYING THAT IT WAS NICE TO FIND SOMETHING THAT MADE ME REMEMBER SOMETHING FROM MY CHILDHOOD IN WARFRAME.

I mentioned in a earlier post that valkyr's design is very similar to the design of the character Jak, from jak and daxter in the ways that they both share a past where they were experimented on and gained some sort of power doing so. They even share a similar gimmick where they both go into a hysteria and use claws to kill things.

( here's a picture of what he looks like when hes in the hysteria thing ) (nevermind the image broke )

I also mentioned how the valkyr gersemi skin looked very similar to how light jak  ( One of jak's forms ) looks in coloring and lore wise-

    Image result for light jak

    Image result for gersemi valkyr

Light jak is unscarred by the experiments and so is Gersemi valkyr

Along with the current release of the new Frame harrow i have noticed another design similarity

    Image result for warframe harrow

Harrow shares this odd oblong face structure with the precursor robot of the first Jak and Daxter.

The game also shares a similar theme in which there was ancient empires in which the creators of such vanished, For warframe it is the orokin, and for jak and daxter its the precursors.

This is all i've noticed so far but i think someone in DE may have played a little jak and daxter.

  3. I don't know if anyone else has realized this but the similarities are uncanny.

    Valkyr

    - Was experimented on by some freaky deaky dudes

    - Has a skill set based on her being mad or whatever

    - Actual claws where she goes nuts hitting things with them

    Jak

    -Was also experimented on

    - now has claws

    - is mad at everything

    - goes into a psycho mode where he just shreds everything

If you haven't played the Jak and Daxter games i don't know what mistakes you've made but they're bad ones

but if you haven't played the games just look up the two and you'll see that they're basically the same thing

They even like just look THEYRE THE SAMMEMEME

    Image result for dark jak

You don't have to agree with me i just kinda realized this outta nowhere.

ALSO AND THEN THE GARSEMI IS LIKE LIGHT JAK OH MY GOSH BECAUSE SHES BLUE WITH THE ANGEL WINGS

DE ITS AMAZING YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID AND I LOVE IT

    Image result for light jak

    Image result for gersemi valkyr

    BROOOO LOOK JUST BROOOO

bruh even they're names are like variations of a thing like valkyr and valkyrie and jack and jak bruhhh

Why the Telos Boltace is crap, in my opinion, is because DE #*($%%@ up the passive. Its best dmg is its spin attack and for that you have to come close. So the first part of the passive is nice, you pull the enemies to you but at your next spin attack you push them away? Stupid! If they'd make the pull stronger and get rid of the push part i'd still use Tellos Boltace.

Also i don't see how the "new" Telos Boltace is better as the old one as you say in the title.

I mean in terms of building melee counter i didn't make my title too clear

Your build is suboptimal, if you're looking for slash procs, BTW.

Replace Body Count with Drifting Contact. Basically the same mod, but adds status chance, which is better. I also recommend throwing on a Weeping Wounds and at least one dual stat elemental to make it more useful and give it type coverage.

Yeah this was just something i randomly discovered at 4 am last night so i didn't have much time to make a optimal build, i just wanted to put it out there and see what people thought.

Your build is quite simple and the mods not hard to get, but  your post title may be a bit misleading, it's always good to post the entire build so we know which other mods your using or sacrificing to get your build. Melee counter is good but what about your damage output? status and/or elemental combo?life strike yes or no? Lvl of enemies?

Tested on 105 Corrupted heavy gunners and my build for loki

    Energy Siphon Coaction Drift

Vitality Rage P flow Savior Decoy

P Continuity Overextended Streamline Fleeting expertise

The loki build is extremely wonky and doesn't make sense, but it works. If i were to revise i'd take out coaction drift and P continuity but you'd loose some duration on the invisibility and some energy regen.

    For my Boltace

R8 Blood rush Body count Life strike beserker

Pressure point Primed reach True Steel Relentless Combination

These builds are 100% not final and could definitely use some optimization

  7. Here's how to get a 4x melee counter in 15 seconds- (With your telos boltace that is "useless")

    Things you'll need;

    FRAME

Loki / Loki Prime  * ANY FRAME THAT HAS DISARM OR CAN BRING ENEMIES CLOSE WORKS LOKI IS THE EASIEST THOUGH *  ( Vauban's 4 could work, Mag's pull )

Build for Efficiency / Range  ( Radial disarm build )

If you can, run Loki's savior decoy augment it'll help if you get hit by accident.

I Highly Recommend trying to fit in a Rage and Loki's Decoy Augment because you can gain a lot of energy by letting baddies wail on you

Run Corrosive Projection Or Energy Siphon Both Work

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    WEAPON

    TELOS BOLTACE

    Primed Reach

    Blood Rush

Relentless Combination ( The one that makes slash procs add to the counter )

For a primary you can go whatever but i personally recommend the hema because of the life steal and armor shred but you're probably not gonna get hit anyway because of radial disarm.

Secondary go whatever. ( I prefer Euphona Because of damage )

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How to get a 4x melee multiplier in 3 seconds

    1. Radial Disarm

    2. Group up the enemies trying to hit you

    3. Go invisible and jump into the middle of the group

    4. Use Telos Boltace Black hole spin thing to get them close

    5. Assault them

    6. They're all affected by slash procs + You're hitting them

    7. Your melee counter is at 4x

    8. Do too Much damage

    9. You're also Loki so you also have stealth multipliers that effect the slash procs

( I also didn't know where to place this thread exactly so i put it in here )
