  1. G day everyone. I very recently came back to warframe after a 2 year break (I only have like 100 hours in the game anyway), and am trying to get my bearings again, though I am concerned about something.

I recall the last time that I played the game, there was something I learned of regarding a pink cyst, which you could use in order to get a unique Kurbrow. However, each frame could only get this cyst once, and you could easily cure it forever. If you cured this cyst on every frame, then that meant you would never be able to get that unique Kurbrow, which is am example of permanently missable content.

I'm wondering if there is anything else like that in the game that I should avoid. I absolutely hate this sort of thing and want to avoid any instance of it.

Secondly, I bought a fair amount of plat a while back, and currently have 4000. I already have a bunch of slots for future frames and weapons and stuff, so what else should I spend this money on that I cannot get from grinding? I recall that there were certain discontinued helmets that gave you great benefits (arcane stuff or whatever), like far more speed for a slight power decrease. I figure these should be a priority in terms of what I should use the plat on, as they cannot be gotten in any other way. Is there anything else like this in the game? Stuff that I can only get from spending plat that is not, and will not be made available in any other way? Which arcane helmets (with extra stats) are the best ones to buy?

Also, what's the fastest way to the the currently required for me to change the skill set of the child thing? I wanna select the one that gives me extra armor passively but it says I need 50,000 of something to do it, and I don't know what.

    Thanks for the advice.

  2. G'day everyone. I'm not particularly big into Warframe, but about a year or two ago, I put about 100 hours of play time into it. It's been a while since then, and I was hoping that I could get some info on what some of the biggest changes to the game have been during this time, what I've missed, and that sort of stuff.

As far as I can remember, I believe I completed some mission where a #*!%ing androgynous child or something came out of my suit, and then I chose to give some sort of red liquid to some staff holding dude who was previously controlled by it? I think? I did a few missions after that but then eventually stopped. I recall there was an update that added an open world, but I never got to that. I recall playing as the child for a bit and it sucked, as did flying missions. Are they any better now?

I'm generally a fan of slow+strong weapons and equipment and stuff, so if there's some sort of new hotness I've missed, I'd like to know about it. Back when I played, I did collect a fair variety of equipment for various situations, and I did spend a fair amount of time on the wiki researching stuff. Not sure how important the following info is, but I launched my game today just to check my equipment, and this is basically what I currently have with my character, plus a few extra questions.

For mastery level, I am currently at a level 8.
For factions, I am sided with the Steel Meridian and Red Veil. I have vague memories of these two groups having weapons that I really wanted at mastery level 12, so I'll stick with this. For frames, I have an Excalibur, a Rhino Prime, a Loki, and a Trinity Prime frame.

Honestly I wanted to go the whole game with just the Rhino Prime, since his straightforward abilities and tanky playstyle appealed to me, but I recall hearing a bunch of people say that he was really underpowered late game, and his iron skin was basically useless once you get further on, due to disintegrating within like half a second, since it only blocked a fixed amount of damage or something. Is this still the case? I also recall there was a new wave of frames that were separate from prime ones or something? What's the deal with them?

For Primary weapons, I have: Hek, Braton, Sobek, MK1- Paris, MK1-Braton, MK1-Strun, Braton Prime, Tigris, Tonkor, Paris Prime, Strun, Zarr, Dread, Prisma Grakata, Astilla.

For Secondary weapons, I have: Dex Furis, Lex Prime, Sicarus, Lato, MK1-Furis, MK1-Kunai, Aklato, Lex, Sonicor, Vaykor Marelok, Twin Grakata's,

For Melee weapons, I have: Redeemer, Skana, Dex Darka, MK1-Bo, Jat Kittag, MK1-Furax, Lesion, Destreza, Secura Lecta, Atterax, Rakta Dark Dagger, Broken Scepter, Broken War.

I recall that I did an especially high amount of research when getting weapons, and aimed to get stuff that was unique/has special qualities not found in other weapons. I believe a fair few of these weapons are generally still considered pretty great, yeah? I also recall the Soma Prime being a top tier weapon, but I don't like slow spin up style guns, so I didn't bother with it.

I'm part of something called the Zenurik, but I honestly have no idea what the hell this is. Something to do with the child? I recall I had to choose between like 5 new factions but had NO IDEA what any of it meant at the time.

For companions I have: Carrier Prime, Taxon, Helios Prime.
For their weapons I have: Deth Machine Rifle, Sweeper Prime, Vulklok, Artax, Deconstructor Prime.

There's also an egg floating around in my ship but I recall that I didn't want a dog since they needed to be fed and looked after constantly, and since my play time wasn't consistent at all (even when I was playing, it was on and off with many long breaks between play sessions), I didn't bother with it.

I also have 150 000 space money, and 4692 platinum. I am not afraid to use it, and would prefer to have the best version of things like weapons and armor instead of bothering with the objectively weaker stuff.

So yeah, that's my situation. What's happened in the game since I've been gone? What's some cool stuff I should get?

    Cheers.
  3. Hey yall.

I recently got my hands on a tonkor, and I quickly noticed an issue. Whenever I do an action like shoot or reload which makes me stop sprinting, pressing the sprint button again to continue sprinting after I finish shooting does NOTHING. I need to press it twice, that is to say, hold it down twice for a moment, for me to actually start sprinting. Pressing sprint and having NOTHING happen is extremely annoying, and it slows me down quite a bit.

Would it be possible to get a fix for this?

  4. Hey y'all. I'm at a point in the game where I need to gather a bunch of Orokin Cells (10 I believe), and a TON of credits (like, 100-200 thousand). From what I gather, only two planets drop the cells, and one of them is a high level planet that's too far for me to deal with alone (which is how I'm playing), which leaves me with either paying real money, trading stuff I don't have, or farming on saturn. I want to do the last option.

What would be the best mission for me to do on saturn to maximize my credit/orokin cell gain?

Thanks everyone. Also, hey Pur3! I know you're reading this!

  5. Hey, thanks for all the quick answers! And a hello right back to you Pur3!

After looking up where the prime parts drop and stuff, it seems like it would be pretty difficult to farm unless you managed to get to a high level. I've already played for like, 50 hours, and haven't gotten a single key for the missions that drop Lex Prime parts.

I don't really want to spend a lot of time farming for them, so that's why I came here.

But you're saying it's not hard to farm for it? How do you figure, if you don't mind me asking?

From what I understand, you need to do high level void missions, which basically require high level equipment, which means high level mods and lots of levelling and credits, all things I don't really have.

If I can farm it, I will, but I don't want to go through hell to do it.

  6. Hey 120 for a Rhino Prime set sounds like a pretty good deal, I'd totally buy 10 bucks worth of Platinum to trade for it, at least, I think it's $10.

Here's the thing though. Unless we can do the trade over this website (which I'll assume you can't), I don't have access to my main PC right now. I'm still studying, but that will be over in about two days.

If you are willing to help me out and just wait a short while, I'd be willing to give you a bit more plat. Say the 150 or whatever you get from the 10 buck pack, or however much there is.

I mean, I might also get a better offer, but really, it sounds like I'm getting a decent deal here, and I appreciate the help.

  7. Hey guys. I'm pretty new to warframe. I played for like 15 hours a year ago, but study came in the way and I had to stop. However, now I have some time, and went into the wiki to decide exactly what approach I wanted to take, what frame I wanted to use, and the weapons that would be the most fun for me. Unfortunately, I recently realised that after looking through all the frames, the one I want the most has only just recently been taken out of the game, the Rhino Prime.

From what I gather, I can still trade for it though. How much platinum would such a thing be worth? Depending on how much it costs I might just decide to buy some plat and trade that.

If it's too much, I suppose I'll just go for a regular rhino, but I'd like to get the prime if possible.

If it IS too much, and I do want to go for the regular Rhino, I'd also like to know what would be the best approach to doing this. I don't want to grind for ages just to have the option of using a frame I like from the start, so if I bought some platinum, would it be better to buy from the store, or trade parts from players? I think that's how it works anyway.

    Thank you.
