I popped online for a day to see changes months ago but never jumped into it. Now I'm back to learn what's new and I have to say Im not exactly satisfied with some changes.
The Mod change to endo isn't something I would have voted for. It seems like way more work then farming gold core packs. I recall being told warframe was working on reducing the tiresome grind of farming parts and etc.
Now I see that the void is finally gone and the reward system has been ruined imo. The grind has basically doubled to me. The only positive is that finding farm groups is easier.
What happened while I was away???

Sooooooo its been a while. Was thinking of coming back to warframe but was wondering what exactly happened the past year as far as clan wars goes. I manage a clan still, but tbh I probably wouldn't come back if the premise of the new dark sector wars would be exactly like the conclave 2.0 that pushed me away from this game personally. Not that I wasn't able to enjoy conclave 2.0 but it was pretty imbalanced while I was still active. The frames I preferred were nerfed every update while frames like valkyr and strategies like ground-pound melee nonstop changed the game from a skilled shooter to a button mashing hack n slash.
But yea, whatsup with dark sectors 2.0?

The method above is legit. YOU, The Tenno, CANNOT headshot evetything. Compensating with powers is not cheating lol.

Apparently anything that cannot be headshot does not count towards the achievement. And radiation isn't a power, it's a status effect which is applied by YOUR weapon that you chose to fire, so one would think that kill made by the radiated enemy is attributed to whoever fired the radiated ammunition. I mean that would only make sense I would think.

I posted this in another thread but will put it here for clarity as well. I just wanted to mention that we realise that during a Tier 4 Extermination players might come across certain enemies (some of which may have been spawned by a rival Syndicate) that cannot be headshot, such as drones, rollers, infested, and of course Vor, so those enemy types are not counted towards your completion of the achievement. :)

So we don't have to worry about how we kill those orokin drones? That's the only problem I had when I first tried it, thought a few of the drones I couldn't get headshots on were why I couldn't get this achievement.
I will have to say that, while cleverly thought of, the radiation tactic is a bit of a trick, if I could get a single headshot in the 100+ enemy spawns t4 ext and still get that achievement because I made every single one of the other enemies all kill eachother, it kind of makes that achievement deceiving altogether.
I mean if you proc radiation status on an enemy and make him kill the other enemy, why would that kill NOT be attributed to the radiator? It makes more sense being as if you use nyx chaos and one of the affected enemies kills another enemy the nyx is awarded the kill point.
ill probably give this one another go now that I know about drones not counting(orokin drones too I hope)

Nerfs are literally half of the balancing aspect, buffs being the counter clearly. I haven't been playing as long as most but I've been around for a year and seen some controversial nerfs, one big one being the gammacor nerf. Players who didn't understand mods well enough instantly threw out their synoids because they couldn't last with the ammo consumption.
Same deal with mesa, everyone was pretty upset of that one. But for the weeks and months leading up to that "nerf" about 3/4 of the recruitment tab was "need mesa for t4 def" "need mesa for odd" and so on.
Basically Im just saying you gotta weigh in those factors like overuse of a certain weapon or mod by the community. They want us to enjoy the variety not just stick to one weapon and one warframe so it makes sense to nerf over Used items.

Ok I might just be too tired but I'm trying to figure out if it is necessary/mandatory for the idea to be related to u18 content? Or can it be a spontaneously thought of achievement like say one such as the 8-fold path? Since only one submission is allowed I want to make sure I'm within the contest rules.

**Everyone reminder**you can only submit one idea per player. I suggest going back and editing if you catch this and do have multiple achievement ideasin your post, it would be a shame to have a contender for selection by DE only to lose out from technicalities.

You gotta do the Natah quest to be able to do the second dream. Go to uranus with synthesis scanners and look for the floating blue jellyfish aliens. Scan them and complete the mission to unlock the natah quest.

First thing that comes to mind is the issues with host migration. I've been in countless conclave games where the host left the squad, then everyone ends up back in their ships and lobby lost.
So, I imagine there would be just as many issues with that in pVe. The idea is nice and I wouldn't be totally against it.
Though I will have to add that I have been on the other side equally frustrated. Just passing 5 mins and having someone go to extract can be annoying. especially when there's just you and the one other, and that one other is enough to force the extract.

I remember seeing a lot when I first started playing about a year ago. I think maybe just because the event mods that came with those past events are exclusive, the idea is to limit them but I think it would be awesome to let all these clans compete, and how about making the next event(if we have another one ever lol) with minimal rewards. Honestly we don't need an "event mod pack" for every event, or at least thats my opinion.

Greatest update ever, literally content for days. I will just say this last quest has to the best so far. And the difficulty of the new sortie missions is refreshing. Well played DE.

I was skimming the build notes for u18 on pc and didn't see anything about clan downsizing being implemented, is this just something not build related? Or are we going to have to wait a bit longer for that option?
PS super psyched about this update been formad my archwing gear for a couple weeks now lol. And the moon! Lots of content to keep the community satisfied(hopefully). Thank you to the devs who put all the time and effort in update after update.

Our clan has been around for many months and we have grown in that time with over 200+ members strong. DRAMA FREE! I can vouch as the founder you won't find harassment here, but you also won't find a boring member base. Our core members, higher ranking officers, are very helpful many whom are online and active daily. We have experienced high mastery level members, most are 10+. The only things we ask are to treat fellow members maturely, and stay active to ensure an above average community.
We also are a great choice if you like to run the raids, as we not only have clan raids but are part of a highly experienced alliance that is geared towards the higher tiered content such as the Law of Retribution(not to mention some great leaders to help take over rails when they return).

It would be nice to have an alternative to acquiring nitain, perhaps drop chance in uranus spy missions? There may be some clans with over half their members online at any given time, but I think it hurts the more relaxed clans. Also these alerts are at some odd hours, I luckily caught the one at 3am EDT. Hardly anyone is online at those hours. Not to sound negative about the nitain it really is a cool idea, I just wish DE let us downsize our clans before they came out with these crazy high resource costs on rare mats.

This was an awesome update, new boss new weapons new warframe, and not to mention the intuitive fixes to conclave. I really like the decreased parkour. Ground pounders were getting a bit out of control and now it's not a bunch of people flipping all around a map nonstop only using melee weapons.
Suggestion: Work a fourth conclave mode into the system where only melee is used. Call it 'Free for Brawl'. Just cause it seems fun for most people who like to melee only.

It's true, we will be taking some dark sectors as soon as the armstice is lifted. If you want to help us rid the Galaxy of the toxicity, you should join today! Rails may return sooner than expected but until then come game with a community that is focused on fun first and foremost, and where nobody gets ordered around or threatened because this is a game and we just want to enjoy it!

The Sith Empire strikes back! After a long hiatus due to personal affairs we are back to dominate again.
If you want a clan that has activity, members who will socialize, and an active and experienced leadership this is a great option for you. We ARE a competitive end game clan, however this isn't a clan to taunt and bully other members in. There will be new players who join also and we encourage everyone to be supportive of those who are still green.
