  1. So, I just now made my first AMP with a Certus brace, and it's looking a bit odd, compared to previous AMPs I've used...

Funny thing is, when I actually start firing with the Certus Brace AMPs, they fold out, and look the like the example Lohrin Brace AMPs here in the pics...
So, surely it's SUPPOSED to always be folded out, but the model is just... what? Bugged? Disoriented? IDK what to call it, but it certainly doesn't look right.
Surely I'm not the first to find this out, but I couldn't find a post mentioning it (maybe that is just me being bad at searching for posts).

Just wanted to let you know 🙂

    2) Dunno if PC works differently, but if you just added someone to your friends list then go play the Survival immediately after, it won't count for the 'with friends' challenge. On the console version at least, you need to relaunch, or perhaps just go run something else first, before the in-game list updates your newly added friends.
    ...

On PC you should be able to just add a person whenever, either before or in the the middle of the mission.
    I've done it before.

It's hilarious to me that they have literally had a solution to survival exiting since day one, because of the defense timer screen and instead, decided to do it some new way that just causes problems.

Well, in defense it doesn't pause the game, and to have that screen up up every 5 min would be horrible!
I think it should only appear once a person exits and pause the game.

  4. The worst part is for me. We managed to do it. Me and 3 randoms who added eachother as friends. But, since they changed the design of survival so that the rest of the squad can leave before you, they left when I was like 30-50 meters away from the extraction point and got into the whole host migration thing and when I finally extracted I didn't complete the "with friend" challenge... Now I have to waste another hour...

DE, please, change it to be a bit similar to how the void fissure survivals work. When a squad member leaves, add a countdown that pauses the game, let the players choose if they wanna leave with the rest of the squad. If not, it counts back and starts the game again, if you do choose to leave with them you should get teleported to them and the mission ends.

    Seriously. It's so infuriating...

I like the fact that you can leave early in survival, but it needs tweaking.

  5. Thank you all for the good tips!

Many of you mentioned switching out radiation for corrosive, if you looked at all the pics you'll see that I have corrosive builds.
I used to ALWAYS use corrosive against Grineer, and sometimes, in high enough levels, it took me 2 magazines to take out one enemy, but then someone told me about having radiation instead and I saw an instant improvement, where only a few shots killed a small group of guys. I understand that corrosive is good against ferrite armour and bad against alloy armour, and the other way around for radiation, but still, the significant improvement can't go unnoticed IMO.

And yes, I understand that maxing-out raw dmg mods like serration is the best, but it costs insane amounts of fusion cores, and the tip about getting them from sorties. How am I supposed to easily just do the sorties every day when I can't take out the enemies there? It goes against itself, which means I'd be acting as a leech on my other squadmates.

A lot of the tips very useful, thanks again.

  6. So, I'm always having such trouble going up against high level enemies, especially Grineer with their Bombards and Napalms etc.
I don't know if I'm building incorrectly or something. Here are some of the builds of my "anti-Grineer" weapons:

I included my low-level builds (corrosive) as well for reference.

What am I doing wrong? I understand that a few formas might need to go in so I can max-out all mods, but I'm not going against lvl 100s, I'm going against lvl 40-70 whenever I need to use these builds, and still they barely do anything.

What am I doing wrong? What have I misunderstood? Is there an unwritten rule that to be able to take on a certain level you'll need to have forma:ed X number of times?
