  1. Hey, you guys sound pretty chill, like my clan. An emblem would be cool though (fashion and all that). But meh.

    Clan name: Perditions Flame

    Region: Australia/NZ

    Platform: PC

    Tier: Shadow

Members: 11/30 (2 active, 2 new and somewhat active, founding warlord sort of active, rest aren't haha)

    Warlords: hryelle, CinnabarTheRandyPoodle

  2. We are small and chill shadow clan based in Australia and would love to have more active members from the Au/NZ region. However, other players in the Oceania region are more than welcome! Our only requirement is to be excellent to each other, and the only thing we enforce is an expulsion at 200 days inactive - but you are welcome to return. Most research is done, including hema. We don't have ignis wraith, but if you need it message me and I will give you a bp. As DE are seemingly exploring more clan events in the game, we are looking to expand. We currently have 26 members, with 3 veterans who are more than happy to help noobs. Discord is also available, but not mandatory. As a co-founder I would love to be at the point where regular raids, fissures, harder alerts etc could be done primarily with clannies over pugs. If you are interested or want more information, reply here or in game. Most active between 6pm - 11.30pm AEST.

Right, Ive been trying to perfect my vauban build for a long &#! time now And nothing works for me. I don't understand it. I've tried Max Duration, range, efficiency with hardly any power strength.

    (Obviously I'm using Repelling Bastille)

ive also tried other mods too. This is the only build that comes to slightly close to what I'm after but a little advice on perfecting this would be amazing (Taking rage out isn't an option)

    Current build

    - Energy Siphon

    - Repelling Bastille

    - Power drift

    - Primed Flow

    - Primed Continuity

    - Constitution

    - Streamline

    - Overextended

    - Vitality

Help for the love of God, its driving me mental!!!

In general, I think Vauban needs efficiency and not having maximum efficiency is why you are using rage. The only exception to this would be in raids or squads that have been purposefully set up with an EV trin and other CC. However, you get more duration per energy cast with bastille and vortex with maximum efficiency. Vauban is an area denial caster frame, you never want to run out of energy. I also think you should try Vauban without vitality in general play. He's squishy with low armour and shield, so I don't think it's really worth it. Instead use abilities for surivability. I use 3 builds: 1 dedicated for raids, 1 focussed on vortex and 1 focussed on bastille. For most missions, primed flow isn't required if you have good efficiency: in fact base power + maximum efficiency lets you cast the same number of bastilles (12) assuming full energy pool compared to primed flow with just streamline, but at 3 less mod drain. Primed flow is better with maximum efficiency imo because now you can cast 34 bastilles from a full energy pool.

Note, replace energy siphon with CP or enemy radar depending on mission and team requirements. The builds only require 1 forma, 1x dash.

    1. Dedicated raid build: CP aura, vitality to help with health drain, primed flow (particularly for NM), primed continuity, stretch and cunning drift for large bastille without capacity loss that OE brings, intensify to increase capacity (better than BR imo because you don't get an efficiency loss), fleeting expertise for bastille spam and as a safeguard if your ev DCs or is bad, constitution for more duration.

    2. Vortex focussed build: maximum range, then efficiency and duration and augment.

    3. Repelling bastille focussed build: maximum range (area denial, stop things from getting into safe area when bastille is full), then efficiency and duration with some strength to buff up the capacity.

    Just my 2 cents.

I've been seeing different posts , you tube videos, reddit post that state a few different things, so my questions to you are thus.

    1) Has the grind gotten worse since the start?

    2) Has the fun been slowly dying for you?

    3) Do you like the direction DE is going with warframe?

as these 3 things seem to show up in all different places, I started wondering what people here actually have to say on these questions.

    1) For me about the same. The grind is just different (e.g. instead of oh damn I need all these resources, it becomes damn, I ran out of polymer bundle) and not as confusing or hard as you know so much more about the game. The main grind is forma.

    2) Yes. I regularly take long breaks then come back to play the new content. However, I find the new void so underwhelming I don't even feel like obtaining the new primes / a few I'm missing.

    3) Mixed feelings here. I think they need to fix the void, not necessarily go back to what it was, but definitely something better than the fissure cancer. In general, I think Waframe is at a very good place for new players / up to about MR15 now compared to when I started. But, there's really not much end game or truly challenging content for veterans. With a good group NM LOR and JV can be pretty trivial. Sorties were a very good idea, but only a few of them are actually hard.

  5. There's nothing for veterans of the game to do. Apart from lor, nm lor, the somewhat buggy jv, and sorties until you get the weapon or are low on cores. Fissures are close to making me take an extended break until titania is out, then the break will continue. At least the old void gave a challenge if you stuck around long enough.

  6. Random incubation. Male Smeeta. Fur pattern is hyacinth. Ears appear to be ball and tail mermaid / petal. Not sure how to describe the colours (natural as bred). I would say energy is light blue, base is white/grey, spine is white, and the rest is brown/red. I gave in and farmed plat to get the genetics :/

  7. I would give feedback if I could actually build one. But it seems that the abysmal drop rate of genetics is limiting me in this regard.

My feedback is this: the current drop rate of genetics upon a successful scan is unacceptable for the number required. Either increase the chance to get the genetics, or lower the number required for the upgrade segment and building a kavat. I actually entertained the notion of purchasing the kavat starter pack, but I don't want to support this blatant profiteering off of new content in a game that I love. Plus the starter pack only comes with 10 genetics, the extra 10 can be purchased for the low price of 5p each! Good job, kavats aren't even good value for those prepared to pay - and I was due to the cancerous grind.

this is actually pretty on point, i would honestly prefer range not scale with mods, but maybe start a bit bigger, like 75, my biggest issue is, i personally think the EV trinity build is more toxic than bless, because you can still screw up the bless play and get yourself/other people killed unless you just hide in a corner the whole game. instead they are basically ENCOURAGING ev trinity which is literally "stand over there and mash 2 until we're done with you and you'll be kicked immediately if i'm ever not at full energy and overshields"

going bless trinity + penta to bomb everything was my favorite thing to do. actually took some amount of skill to balance your uptime, blessing and link timers, because if you were linked to anything, you couldn't get a full power bless

I know right. A bigger base range would also be good! For ev though, you don't have to mash 2. I tend to use lower power strength with natural talent and use ev as a form of cc to stun an enemy then kill it with a good weapon, as now the target is not moving. The bonus shield from doing this regularly also benefits the squad. You really only need max strength in draco and raids : +25% is enough for most missions to get decent ev return and a full heal quick blessing. I really wish the self damage mechanic for blessing was still needed, it was a lot of fun and now I can't use kestrel anymore :(

the first stage? the one with 4 injectors? isn't that the easiest part of all stages? to be honest when I run LoR with clanmates we barely need trinity, i'm the bomb carrier, volt P with 750 energy and I have my own energy restore syndicate that helps me a lot while carrying battery. when nova slows enemies I barely take damage.

isn't that what a support healer supposed to work? pay attention to teammates. I used to be bored play trinity before the change, well that's my opinion.

Well, I don't want to farm resources all day to make pads for raids. Bringing an EV makes sense as the restore is more and faster than a pad. What I'm saying is that because 99% DR was easy to achieve as a bless trin, of course people would use it in the first stage of a raid where there is constant health drain. Bless was another layer of protection in case someone dc's or for some reason s**t hits the fan so to speak. EV didn't need to cast instant blessings, now she does. It's not hard, but I think a new player using ev in a raid would have a difficult time as your first time is confusing enough without having to keep track of energy and everyone's health, and moving around to bless so everyone is in range. It's not impossible obviously, but only if you're relatively experienced.

  10. 29 minutes ago, FitzSimmons said:

so what if trinity DR is not as OP as it used to be? I'm sure even in raid people still looking for warframes that do big area stun or loki who disarm almost the entire map, frost for defense. I mean what's the point of DR if your enemies can't even damage you?

Makes the first stage easier and takes pressure off ev, despite it being doable with ev casting bless a lot. However, now as ev you need a lot more awareness of bomb carrier energy, everyone's health, and now dealing with people being in range or you getting in range. Vitality is almost mandatory now. All of this makes it a lot harder for ev to hack. I wouldn't want a new player to be ev in a raid now. DR is also another layer of protection in case something fails or someone dc's. Obviously decoy loki for the final part means you don't need the 99% DR, but the first stage is a bit more challenging.

  11. The formula change is the main thing I don't like. A hard cap at 75% DR or so I think would be best. Capping range makes sense and for more challenging play. However, for many maps and missions 50 m is just a bit too low. Maybe instant heal in 50 m, but diminishing amount of heal over 50 m that spreads with duration mods like molecular prime. Other healers needed a buff, not a big nerf to trinity. In other words, when doing a NM raid I would rather think, hmmm do I want be a bless trin, equinox or an oberon; NOT better load up the bless trin. Currently me and my clanmate are testing other healers/DR abilities and guess what, the one that works the best is the one we will use. That's the nature of the game: do the mission in the most efficient and easiest way possible. A new healing meta will be discovered. Instead, it should be have a number of good healers to choose from. Just my 2 cents (and I play a lot of trinty).

  12. I agree that bless needed a nerf to an extent, and some form range cap is a good idea. It doesn't make sense that everyone no matter where they are on the map benefits from the full heal. That being said, bless trins were really only used in raids, sortie assassinations (but many debuffs made a cheese bless trin with self harm impractical), and a few other missions. The current 50 m range is too low for many maps and mission types. Thus, I think bless should be scaleable with range mods and have a base range of 50 m or 25 m, but go back to the old formula. Alternatively, bless should have a hard cap at 75% damage reduction (or some other number) and is multiplicative with trinity only if link is already active. This would make modding for blessing more challenging and less op in practice as now all power attributes need to be taken into account. Another option would be to rework well of life so it is actually useable (maybe make it like ev). The current change essentially makes trinity an energy wench, or, solo play only with link. Pigeon holeing is something that I think the devs would want to avoid based on recent updates and reworks.

EDIT: Another idea I just thought of is make it spread like both renewal and molecular prime. Infinite range, speed of spread scales with duration. Everyone within 50 m (or some other number) gets full heal and damage resistance based off old formula, but the amount restored and resisted after that decreases with increasing range from trinity.
