i just love this vaccum sentinel gif...

new vaccum weapon incoming? i think i also saw a megaphone in there.

would have been even more awesome if they put a carrier in the front throwing out a lot of loot from his bag and the other sentinels unable to pick it up and carrier saying "no rly....its a buff"

In all of this complaining all I see is those that had yet to see the light and make the conversion to pets : ^)

    0/10 would not mourn.

i already read posts of ppl who said they tryed multiple times with alot of forma on their pets but always fell back to vacuum +1 for me

I like this update, a lot. Vacuum is now a sentinal passive, and the range has been reduced, so it doesn't instantly eat every orb or ammo pickup the moment you lose 2 of anything.

i have ur solution for u... dont equip a vacuum mod and u could have saved us a valuable text space

Nice I for one like not just using Carrier all the time, it woul be nice to use the wide range of sentinals ive got now instead of carrier 24/7. hopefully this goes to Kubrows/Kavats soon as well would make people use them more often.

u should use kubrows / kavats right now then cause the 6 m is not different from normal pickup

I just can't understand DE's logic with the vacuum nerf. The range is so short there's almost no point in having it. 80% of players used the carrier for a reason and DE's answer is to cut the range in half for everyone?

The clear answer the community was looking for was to just add the carriers vacuum ability to all pets as is not at half range. This is adding yet another penalty for penalties sake. Seriously, what is DE's problem with players picking up loot with the vacuum? Did it somehow become taboo or something?

Was it such a horrible request by the community? or was it's popularity just screaming for a nerf to DE's ears? This just feels like they said "okay we'll add the vacuum to all sentinels for you, but you're going to pay for it". All this just so we can use the other useless sentinels like the Djinn?

I know they said they will be watching our feedback and will adjust accordingly or whatever but we have quite a few systems in the game that just sit there untouched, waiting for an update. This will probably be another one.

its not halfed but nearly 1/4 ed

    So....

Carrier had it's vacuum halved and the other half was copied and given to every other sentinel, Then to say sorry for breaking carrier they made it to where it acts like ammo mutation and Trick mag and Ammo Drum/Shell Compression?

I think DE is missing the point here. Carrier gave us a capability we couldn't get any other way (until mag got her vacuum) all the other sentinels just did something we have at least 2 other ways to do, and we can do it far better. Now the most unique and useful sentinel is... Wyrm since a radial knock down centered on you isn't common ingame (tonkor on your feet is not a knockdown it just kills everything) followed by... um Helios for the scanning and target vulnerability. After that just bring a cat or dog because they can be revived.

TLDR: Gonna go see how the carrier ammo case affects weapons and probably keep using it since the alternatives still aren't alternative. Maybe go walk my kubrow or kavat.

    not 50% nerf but 80%

  7. Guys lets not stray from the actual issue we need at least a few more thousand ppl to replie on this matter so it gets changed more faster and remember its not a 50% nerf but more like an 80 - 90% nerf if not even 100% taking the actual feeling into account.

Tried this 'update' out.. was giving it SOME SLIGHT DOUBT... thought I will try first instead of crying more about it.. but guess f***ing what? The vacuum is HORRIBLE..Survival mission = RIP.. all the junk everywhere and the clusterf*ck of enemies everywhere.. and I am just here running around picking stuff up while dodging everything.. fun.. it feels like the 6M stat is an illusion.. since I have to pretty much STAND BY IT to pick up..

Here is a tip, DE.. how about instead of doing these useless tries for an 'update' go focus on your neglected promised The Wait Within? Because that will surely not be a disappointment, now would it? ^^ The more you drag things on the more it will be disappointing once it comes out, because I am 99.9% sure it wont live up to it's expectations, since people are expecting a polished game, because you delayed it so much.

The more you update the more you ruin it. To be honest you guys remind me of a crazed scientist that starts off by doing experiments that actually benefit humanity, but end up going crazy/psycho and just begin doing ones that are really effed up, however in his head are for the 'good of all' like making a 3 headed rat that can shoot cobwebs for some dumb reason...Yes that's how you guys are in my eyes now.. with all these stupid nerfs and 'fixes'... DE, please PULL YOUR S#&$ TOGETHER.. I do love you guys, but these past few 'updates' and delays have been really underwhelming and just plain out disappointing.

Another 2 cents from lil ol me..

    ~Jester.

those 2 cents could net them a few thousand bucks, id hire him de

For those of you crying about it not being a warframe mod, come back when you have some sense of balance or a new idea for Mag's passive. :^)

80% of the players use carrier .... now how often did any of u see a mag at a random pub mission? couldnt care less id say

They already did this... they changed it so nullifier bubbles kill the globe....pretty much making globe useless in corpus levels with high nullifier content

thats not just frosts problem but its not like we didnt need to shoot nullifiers before reaching the defence target before if we wanted to survive in endless missions

Yes. Any game should have a range at which you pick them up. It's stupid for your model to actually have to collide with the item. However you don't need a large range on that. Yes it's convenient but as this is still evolving it's certainly possible and I think a good idea to introduce a universal mod that increases the range for farming builds or people who think it's worth giving up a mod slot. This is a step in the right direction. Some people don't want to have to use carrier in order to make up for bad game design. I think they should have just made this a base pickup range for the warframe (as most games have) and not specific to sentinels but I'm not going to shake a stick at progress.

lets compare what they did there. its as if one would say too many ppl are using frost for defence missions so lets half the usefulness of frosts globe and give it to every other frame
