I quoted you because it was relevant to my point. Which was that Roar and Eclipse perform different functions.
And the community seems more than happy to acknowledge Roar's other functions while deliberately and purposely dismissing Eclipse's Damage Reduction.

Perhaps you might be surprised to learn that they have been involved in a number of discussions around this topic. Discussions that were alluded to in the other Tenno's post. Discussions where the DR has been wholesale written off because the only thing others care to acknowledge is the damage reduction.

Either way, you ultimately also chose not to touch upon Eclipses DR functionality as well. Instead, you as well, chose to focus only on the DMG boost and the flawed desire that it needs to match/rival Roar.
Rhino's roar is a purely offensive ability that unsurprisingly boosts Damage sources.
That was and is it's intended role.
Mirage's Eclipse was originally intended to be a fluctuating buff that cycles between defense and offense based on the now defunct lighting/light level of the player location.
IE: It serves 2 purposes.
The RNG aspect was what justified it's strength. The removal of that self-same RNG element is why it's being reduced to static and reliable values.
The argument that needs to be a 1 to 1 match to Roar is disingenuous and foolhardy because of the fact it can offers DR at will.
75% DR is nothing to scoff at. As that DR is significant for 95% of content in the game.
Is it good for Endurance Runs? No.
But we all know DE doesn't build the game to function for however many days, weeks, months, or years players choose to stay in 1 mission.
If anything the discussion should be around making Eclipse a stronger DR ability because the game is seriously lacking in those.
IE: Reduce the base DR to 45 or 50% but allow players to build for it, allowing it to scale to a cap of 90% or 95% (I wanna say with like 200str)
But nope...
Let's just keep screaming into the Void about how it's weaker than Roar on non-Mirage Warframes.
Sorry was reading over this and wondering what the heck is this person talking about,75%DR is great for 95% of the game um yea no maybe 60-65% of the game which is not insignificant for sure but long stretch from 95%. Also I don't think you really understand that 30% is a 120% nerf to the ability for a problem that the devs created, As much as a toggle would be nice imagine telling someone that just came back to the game in order for them to reach even the base number that eclipse was previously you will need 500% strength. Mean while the person on previous occasions would get even at the worst of time the full 150% nearly 80-85% on most maps for most of the time and upwards of 400% in the open world content. I don't know anyone that has ever used Mirage DR because of her being beyond squishy as it was, Plus why use the helminth ability after this when you can just bring two mirages with augments have one with the DR and the other with the full unaffected effect buff while a third or you brings Roar to buff that over all effect.
Don't get me wrong the DR buff will work 100% on frames that are incredibly tanky such as rhino, or Inaros with rework but might be over kill. But never the less even then it might be better to bring a mirage with augment to give 95% DR vs the 75% from helminth that will only effect the frame itself.
I don't think the answer they give for eclipse nerf is that great of a answer it seems they want to over simplify how Roar works to be honest, it used to be that if the problem was created by them they would fix it without being so heavy handed but this is extreme in my own opinion take as you will but if they started at a more reasonable range say 65% and worked back from there if things were so drastic than players I feel wouldn't be so baffled or outraged.

This isn't 100% true statement, they could choose to have the drops to be open for up to following day, and stream a re-run of the prime time ep for that period of time but they are choosing not to. This is possibly the best outcome for all parties, This round of drops I lost out on a half an hr of drop time even though was watching because a but/glitch with twitch drops not working properly was there the full 2ht 10mins. If they were to do this option it would allow for better outcomes for those even that can't be there because of time conflicts.

If in fact you were speaking about Meta sheep you would 100% be correct but to paint a broad stroke across the board and act like you are 100% correct is like saying people go to dunkin donuts for there donuts only, Because in fact people also go there to get cup of coffee or hot chocolate. I use Eclipse in every day use on many frames, And why is this well because it is quite useful when it does work, Which is about 70% of the time, people were literally talking about change for the 30% an well we ended up with that precise % ironic is it not.
When saying this is all it is good for doesn't make DE want to take another look and say yea maybe they are right it could be too low, They look at a comment like this and say see this is why we need it to be 30%, When it fact there is so many more uses that people either are not wise to or just can't read a wiki.

Look I can understand why you are nerfing helmith eclipse, It is defiantly strong on some builds. But come on this is way beyond unreasonable change, If in fact this ability needed to be nerfed at all I could understand going down to 100% and then working back a little bit at a time but going whole hog here with a drop so drastic to 30% is just not a great idea.
Not only does working backways feel better for players that don't get stuck with having to change with a bad number that may stay for months on end, But as well as players having to completely rebuild frames at cost to them and no compensation at all.
Honestly this feels like a smack in the face, I don't like to use this phrase too often because most changes DE has made in the past has been on the boarder but over all good for the health of the game but not this one.

This was kind of messed up to be honest, It should of been through 21-23, the sponsored a channel to proceed after them. Not only did I catch the tail end of both streams. But didn't get any drops at all. possibly the worst twitch drops I have ever participated in. I don't want to be overly negative but hard to do when you expect one thing and get an entirely different result. We used to get In game goodies after each dev update live stream haven't seen any of those in a long time now.

Prime packs are different as far as I am aware, Purchased the pack myself on a new account. And yet says MR10, Is this a Glitch?

Okay I get that you are wanting to put things into packs, But this could be read wrong. As in A new player may think that this can be used on a brand new account, Not knowing anything about Mastery ranks. Could we add a warning to this, So new players are warned before purchase?

Hiya everyone i been long time player and recently have seen macro videos, but these videos are either horrible and don't explain anything at all or the macro's i have tried do not work. I will first say that i am semi disabled and could realy use the help. So if anyone could help me out with spin attack macro would be fantastic, I hate that after only 5mins i can not play one of my favorite builds.

I have given up on trying to update with no positive results, Sadly due to this i don't think i am going to spend any more time trying to get this fixed. It was Fun while it lasted but now there is no way i am going to go insane trying to fix this.

Been trying to fix this for week now and yet nothing has worked, Why is it every once in a while my Launcher/Updater is bugged like this starting to become to a point of not wanting to play any longer.

Not much to say there is a long way to go when it comes to Onslaught to be fixed, thought couple days i would come back from playing POE but suppose not so back to playing path for me then.

So we were told in Dec that we would see these, still no word on date for Dec at all. Please do something longer then just 4 days of farming event, would like to have couple weeks at them at least.
They are fun for the chase and in my opinion better of an event then most that you have come out with in very long while, So when can we see these return?

So i make a point about you saying you could care less about people AFK in your party, and you say i am whining what side of stupid are you on? Who gives a crap if it is pre-made group or if you going into public, if you wanna go afk or allow a group to allow those players to afk make a party and don't bother those in public. But let me guse i bet just about 80% will not allow you to do so, No wonder leechers go afk in public bounties wow.

So Just wondering if this is a DE sale or if this is sponsored by playstation/microsoft, if it is sale only dealing with PS/XB then ok i can see yr end sale would be quite nice for there products to sell. But if this is DE doing the plat sale it feels like a Big ol Smack to the face to the pc players that have been playing the longest.

Same should then go for speedrunners in Syndicate missions. They are griefing others by running through the level by not collecting the medallions for extra standing. You know what I had been told? To play solo, or get a group together or just get used to it.
Since its the same situation over here, I guess same rules and answers applies.
Definitely in a way they absolutely are i feel sorry for you having to deal with that but now you start to push it on to others then those people do it so on and so forth to a point that it snow balls into everyone or majority of players doing it, can you not see how that is a bad thing over all?

a person who harasses or deliberately provokes other players or members in order to spoil their enjoyment.
By you deliberately entering a bounty in which you know you are not going to help your team what so ever you are.

I got few nice bounties while just fishing and mining for my next standings with Cetus. Nobody ever complained and it saved me a butload of time. It's not like I was trolling or ruining the game. You can solo these bounties so why do you care if one or two other people just fish around?

As I mentioned already - I can solo the bounties and I am just a filthy, low rank casual with sh*t gear not even having prime WFs (well Saryn Prime doesn't count, its rubbish) so I don't mind others taking a nap or fish/mine while I am on the run.I even prefer it because usually I am joined by a bunch of low MR players who constantly die and I am tired of reviving them every 30 seconds.I wish they sod off and go fish while I get the job done :D :D :D

Just grow up. ;-)See this, exactly why people have made this post for. you wanna fish while your team does the work for you no one is jealous that you go fish while they do all the work they are pissed off that you didn't just go in solo and fish/mine on your dame own time. And who cares if you carry low rank mr players the point the OP was making is because of people like yourself that just love to grief your team because you feel self entitled to do so because you help low MR players give me a break.

Perhaps We could see buffing Netracells for rep in the feature? Or perhaps We could get Some sort of Secondary drop from The Deep Archi, that then could be used to buff Netracell runs?
