tbh i quite like it but it is just personal preference i guess

I agree, I personally like how it looks with the Proto Skin even if it doesn't really fit the theme. Problem is, skins like Graxx or Corpra which also don't fit Umbra's accessories in any way cost real money compared to the Proto Skin which is a bigger issue since nobody wants to go through a whole process of refund or stuff like that just because a small yet important detail like that was overlooked.

  2. I can't even understand why everyone is so dead set on the whole immersion thing and the fact that it doesn't fit in the game. It's a Game after all guys, those are just some skins, also if you do some research which would take like 30 seconds of your life there are weapons in the game Dark Sector which FYI the Deluxe skins for both Excalibur and Nyx have been ripped from, the pistol Tekna 9mm is almost identical if not the same as the proto skin shown in the Devstream, that game even has a 19th century Revolver in it, along with an AKS-74, why are the Deluxe skins for Excalibur and Nyx ok but those weapons aren't? They all come from the same game. It's ridiculous.

  3. This is the current build I use for my Zaw. I tried it out first in the Simulacrum then on a ODS Solo, in both of them I get red crits by the time the combo counter reaches 2x and only red crits from 2.5x onwards. However I noticed each time I am in a full squad I don't get any red crits even at 3x multiplier and barely any at 3.5x. If anyone can explain I'd appreciate it.

  4. I've noticed an error in the accuracy penalty of the Heavy Caliber mod. As far as I know 55% out of 80 is 44, by calculations the accuracy here is reduced by 56.3, which is fairly more. Is the mod broken or is there something I am missing? If that's the case please let me know.

  5. So i've noticed this quite a few times, also asked other players about it and they confirmed what I noticed: The mod Eternal War bugs out after a while spent in a mission and simply stops working. After a 15 Wave Defense alert, after wave 15-13 Eternal War stopped doing its thing. Basically the Warcry ability will no longer be positively affected by any kind of melee kills, the timer doesn't go up like it should.

  6. So I want to change my name and it seems I cannot make a name with space between words (e.g: Name Surname) and I want to ask: If I add an underscore to separate the words (Name_Surname) will the underscore be visible ingame or it'll show an empty space between the words, like above?

  7. While i don't want to agree either, DE is fairly absolved of all those awful nerfs. This is afterall an awesome game with full access to everything. Though still, there must be attractive, not only from the accessibility perspective, but also by the gameplay. Sure, many games are full access, mostly boring games where you can't do much, but i've never seen one such as Warframe, a truly awesome game where you can achieve and acquire anything without giving a single cent, that's why the game is supported out of most players' respect for that. Let's not forget the fact that this is a Free-to-Play game and anyone can join the community, but all those privileges granted by DE to the players don't need to be balanced by nerfing most of what's good in the game and thus slowly killing the game experience. Besides, most nerfs were based on Warframes' "OP-ness" which might I add have a lot of hard-to-get (maybe unique) mods behind them and that is the reason why they are so powerful. The only things that these nerfs will do is to make the game harder and harder for newcommers mostly (and slowly for us advanced players too), until we reach a point where eventually new players will quit the game prematurely because it's too damn hard to get to a decent level where they can manage themselves in this game properly. That's all I've got to say, i know this post won't be seen by many, much less by the DE staff but this is all i'm asking for any future patches: Try actually considering this community's advice for a change. Work with the community, not against it.

With a toggleable option, one setting has to be the default, you know? Why should it be yours, when getting that option at all would be a concession to you in the current status quo?

It's statistics that most players don't really mess around with the default option configurations in games. I thought you wanted to keep those cosmetics for your own sake, why should most other people be subjected to them by default outside the holidays in question, when they might not even know that there's an option to disable seeing them?

Let me just clarify what I meant. Just like the profanity filter, this would be an option for your eyes only. You are choosing wether you want to see someone wearing festive items or not, not an option that enables them for everyone or something like that. On the other hand I really don't care about the "statistics" and for those who don't mess with the game settings or not, it's their fault if they simply can't waste 5 minutes to look through their options and the game is not faulty if they don't. Afterall it is their and also your interest to keep the "immersion" alive. I don't have any problem wether that setting would be On or Off by default anyways, i'm just implying that you're having too much pretentions like you're somehow superior to us and we've talked about that before.

When did I claim that my opinion is superior to everyone else's? There are many reasons why DE might want to have the ears to only be temporary. Maintaining some immersion could be just one of the potential ones, or it could be wanting to keep them rare and so more fun when they are available or it could be something entirely else. Me agreeing with their end result here, does not mean I'm arrogant enough to think me and DE share the motives too and are on the same side here.

I just stated my opinion, gave my personal reasons for it and then defended them to those who directly engaged it. That's literally what you are supposed to do in an argument over something.

Most of the people in this thread not agreeing with me are just posting cute pictures of their bunny eared Tennos and making heartfelt and polite pleas to let them keep the ears. I'm not engaging them, just like they are not engaging me, because I respect their right to express their opinion and not get flamed in response, even if I disagree with it.

The only way it could be taken that way is if you interpret "stating and arguing in defense of an unpopular opinion that goes against the wishes of the majority" as "entitlement".

And compared to that, we have responses that I hope are made in joke, like "let us keep the ears or I shall send a strongly worded letter your way".

In this case it is time for you to re-work the way you're expressing because this is the impression you've let to everyone in this thread, that you are somehow superior to them and think yourself some high-class member by supporting DE's policy and trying to shut down every one of us by replying to almost EVERY comment in this thread, like a few of the people in this thread i've been trying to come with an idea for both camps to come to an agreement which I can only hope you've read the first time I mentioned it and if not, here it is once again: To make an option that leaves you the choice to disable/enable festive items in-game (basically choose if you want to see them or not). I didn't say that would be an easy task but hey, it's still an idea.

  10. Ok, i've had a few opinions about those bunny ears in the game, some like me want to keep those bunny ears permanently in game and those who cry out "My damn immersion!". So i'll make something clear, i don't give a flying fluff about those type of players and i personally don't care about their opinions, but hey, this is just me. To make a truce between both of the camps i'll just come with a practical idea: Why don't we make an option to disable/enable festive items in-game? Thus nobody will feel the need to complain about their stupid immersion or something, even though it is ruined every time you see a female warframe painted like it's some kind of feminist or the most saturated colors that you can pick.

Now for @IronRoby i'll make sure i always have my pink Nekros with a Candy Cane equipped alongside my doggo Rudolf with his little helper hat only to make sure I'll ruin your "immersion"...and your day if possible. =)

  11. I'm here to report a few bugs, those being:

When in a fight the face of the Operator may change while you're in your mission, it doesn't change permanently though. For example: In the first message, the Operator's face looks normal as set by the user, then in the next message, he/she has another face (always the same though).

When activating the 5th ability the Operator's clothes color may change after your warframe's colors, for instance if your warframe is black and your operator is white, in game he/she has a chance to be also black.

A few codex errors, when displaying the Acolytes they all have the Excalibur skin and Helmet (over the Stalker helmet) thus resulting in a clipping error. Also they still have the extra components and armor pieces on them. Few scans may be duplicated, i have two completed codex entries on Misery for example.

  12. As you can see in the title, that's pretty much the subject. I started the mission let's say 5 or 6 days ago. I found a Kubrow egg, incubated it, the puppy was born and it matured (and yes, it's certainly mature since is bigger than it was on its puppyhood). From what i read from the wiki, now i was supposed to find the Kubrow Collar but the mission still says "Wait for your Kubrow to mature", though i received a message from the Lotus about it. I tried to reboot the game but it was no use, i tried to do the Lith Mission on Earth (that's where you're supposed to go and find the collar) hoping that will solve the problem but it's still the same thing. If anyone could give me some advice i'm open for anything. Thanks.
