  1. Running this week's Veilbreaker quest and no Wolf of Saturn Six spawning at the end. Can't complete the mission.
This has apparently been a bug for over a year now, judging by the posts. The missions are already slow as it is - I would appreciate not having to run them an extra time because of a bug.

    Notes:
    - I found and opened the cache
    - I failed the Kahl go Fast objective
    - Kaeli's voice line about the Wolf played before I entered the hangar
    - The objective marker is green on the HUD and points to extraction, but the objective says "GET TO HANGAR"OXlbCtS.jpeg

  2. So this has happened several times now:

My UI in Elite Sanctuary Onslaught gets stuck on, say, Zone 3. I then make it all the way to Zone 8 but I see no reward pop-ups at Zones 4, 6, or 8. At the end of mission screen, all I see is the reward I got at Zone 2. And no, It's not just a visual bug because when I asked the rest of the squad what we got and I was told it was a Braton Vandal Stock, I did NOT get it added to my inventory.

Please fix this because I don't feel comfortale spending half an hour in those missions and get nothing for it.

And here's an example of this (This should prove I didn't AFK through the mission):t86J4W7.jpg?1

  3. Same thing. I randomly get disconnected and then immediately offered to rejoin the squad. It's extremely annoying when I get to rejoin an endless relic mission only to NOT get my relic unlocked because there's only ten seconds left on the timer. Not to mention that my xp gets reset, so how the hell am I supposed to level my gear if I can only run quick captures, and even those with a 50% chance to DC?

  4. So, I saw the Fetch mod shown on the devstream, but I don't see it as any kind of permanent solution to the massive gap between Kubrows and the rest of the companions.

The reason people don't use Kubrows is not the lack of vacuum. If that were true, then no one would run Smeetas either. Yet they do, purely because of the sheer usefulness of their utility. The reason lies elsewhere. Here's how I see it:

Kavats and Kubrows have 10 mod slots, which have to be shared by utility, durability, and damage. In Smeeta's case, the damage is hardly relevant because of Charm and Sharpened Claws - you can focus on durability to make sure your cat survives, then the RNG buff and armour removal do the rest.

Sentinels, however, effectively come with 18 mod slots. The 10 on the Sentinel itself are shared by utility and durability mods, but the damage is completely separated and has its own 8 mod slots on the weapon. "But I don't even run a weapon on my Sentinel!" some of you will say - yes... because just like the Smeeta, the utility of Carrier, Helios, and Taxon is good enough that just having the damn things survive to use the precept mods is good enough to warrant using them.

What about the Kubrows, then? Well, they have 10 slots. Their breed-specific abilities are, well... for the most part kinda weak. Huras' invisibility makes that far more usable than the rest, but as the devstream showed, it's barely enough to outclass the weakest of Sentinels. The rest? Chesa's fetch, Sunika's finisher damage, Huras' Hunt? Other than Stalk, there isn't a single ability they have that is worth using over what the Kavats and Sentinels give. Alright, then what about damage? If the drones and cats are meant for utility, then surely the big dogs should do some damage, right? Yeah... sure. 10 mod slots crammed with durability and utility mods, on top of which I now have to add damage mods as well. Not to mention that we have barely anything in terms of damage mods - Bite and Maul. No elements, no status... just the very basic damage mods.

And now we get Fetch. What am I supposed to do with it? If I want to put it on my Kubrow, it's either going to die more or not do any damage, in which case I either have something that has to be revived every 20 seconds or a nerfed Carrier that runs around and gets itself killed because it's not doing enough damage. Again, why would I use it? The only reason I can think of is that I #*!%ing love Kubrows and I use them just because they are adorable.

I appreciate the effort, but it's nothing more than a bandaid for a problem that required a much more thought-out solution. Fetch should have been made innate at least for Kubrows, and even then they couldn't go toe-to-toe with Sentinels, at least not until you let us mod their damage the same way we can mod the weapons on Sentinels.

  5. So far, I am not particularly enjoying the new UI. It's pleasant to look at and works for the most part, but it feels horribly uninformative compared to the previous version.

    Examples:

    - The fact that item names aren't displayed in the inventory makes it annoying to find things, especially if one has multiples of a single item. Hovering over each item to see if it's the right one is just irritating. You might say "use the search bar", but sometimes scrolling through an alphabetically ordered list is quicker and easier than typing it out.

    - Another example is the ducat kiosk: Everything looks the same and nothing shows a name.

    - The squad UI is perhaps my least favourite thing in the entire update: It used to be you could tap Escape and see exactly what frames and relics your squadmates had equipped, but now you need to actively inspect each one.

    - Rectangles worked far better than squares for Warframe. Most weapons are longer than they are tall on their icons and the mods are all rectangular. Shoving it all in squares either cuts off the sides of icons or makes for a lot of wasted space above and below the mod, not to mention the reduced font size.

    Additional bug and issue report:

    - Frequent "NETWORK NOT RESPONDING" popups.

    - The game occasionally freezes to a black screen when entering the navigation. Happened twice in 2 days.

Still the issue isnt that I was asking too much, I'm not getting anyone even offering when I'm asking for offers, personally I think the ballistica prime isn't bad I just don't like the weapon in general.

Empirical evidence would suggest that most people feel the same way, hence the lack of offers. I think the Ballistica is neat, but it doesn't beat my Pandero, Aklex or Akstilleto.

Pitching my two cents in, there's no real reason Void Damage should be -50% weak against Cloned Flesh. If it was Corpus or Infested health type, I can understand because they're some of the squishiest factions out there, but Grineers are already the tanky ones, why make them even tankier - What does this achieve?

considering that the void has the tendency to #*!% things up, I'd say it should be one of the most effective damage types. If nothing else, it should completely ignore armour and shields.

makes sense but stand to lose big time if it doesnt

Not really. Prices fluctuate VERY predictably. It's always the same patter of:

people selling Maming Strike for 800p -> DE announces Acolytes -> Price keeps dropping until it's around 100 - 200p -> Acolytes arrive, everyone farms the mod -> No one sells the mod for a month -> Prices climb to 800p -> DE announced Acolytes -> ...

Is anyone else starting to get the feeling that if indeed there will be a sacrifice (in the form of a Warframe) needed to get an Umbra, that it will have to be a Prime Warframe? I've been getting that feeling since Ballas poped up and with him being an Orokin and all, why would he want anything less then Primed stuff. Thoughts?

If I can throw a primed frame into a vat of sentient goo to make them Umbra, sure. This is why I have spare sets of every prime item.

I'm not saying that would be imposible, but with Nekros it would be way more easier and you can stay longer

Not all frames are equal and there will always be a frame that is the best at a specific job. Nekros happens to find that place in survivals. If you want all frames to perform equally in all situations, then that would remove the team-building and squad preparation aspect of the game, which I actually enjoy. It gives Warframe a layer of strategy and tactics rather than it being just a hack-and-slash brainless game.

Besides, only one person needs to bring a Nekros. The other 3 can bring whatever the hell they want.

As for the other "Closed clubs" - They're only closed if you want to min-max. I can kill a Hydrolyst with pretty much any squad composition, but going for a capture or several requires preparation. Even then, it's not as limited as you make it out to be. Chroma, Trinity, Harrow, Rhino, Volt, Limbo, Gara, Oberon, and Mirage all work really well. If you want to play some other frame, feel free to do so, but don't expect to do as well as if you had actually prepared.

  11. So... Using the Nukor on different body parts of a friend's warframe can lead to some pretty interesting results. The visual effects are apparently only visible to clients in the Simulacrum, while the host sees nothing out of the ordinary.

  12. So, ever since update 20 hit, my game has been experiencing random stutters both in the liset and in-mission, which more often than not turn into full screen freezes. I can still hear the game in the background (footsteps, menu sounds etc.), but the screen is frozen on one frame. The game still responds as I am able to blindly press escape and find the quit game option to quit to desktop, but playing is made impossible.

This has not happened before the update and I have no similar issues with other games. Can anyone confirm?

  13. As much as I appreciate the effort, the way they did the scoring and rewards kinds sucks. If they keep this up, it will always be the same 10% of clans hogging all the rewards every single time.

Want to play with friends who play every now and then? Too bad, you're not getting the new guns.

  14. OK, as much as I appreciate regular updates, I have to ask... Why, DE?

Friendly Fire mission were OPTIONAL. No one was forced to run them. Sure, they were a pain if you joined a pub group but how is it the modifier's fault that people are incompetent?

Don't like the mode? Don't run it. Want nightmare mods but for some reason don't want to pick any of the other missions? Do it solo or with a dedicated group. Want to have fun with friends? Run it with whatever you want and have tons of fun doing so.

All this change does is show one of the largest problems you have as a developer, DE. You seem to love catering to new player and you give in every time a part of your player base starts whining about something they're not even required to do. "I don't like friendly fire! Remove it for everyone because if I can't have fun with it, no one should!" Most of the time they aren't even valid complaints. It's some MR 3 who ran one mission, got it  handed to them because apparently they can't even read it says "Friendly Fire" on the node, and are now complaining that the game is broken. don't listen to feedback from players who actually know what they're doing, right?

*clap clap clap* Congratulations. Once again you completely messed over veteran players by removing one of the few things that keeps us in the game - laughing while playing with friends.

I'm not saying every mission should be friendly fire, but instead of just giving in to people who want the game to bend over for them every time they want a new mod, how about you TWEAK it so it's better? Make FF a less common modifier. Apply the conclave damage reduction to any damage that would hit another player. Things like that.

The mode was not broken. It was just a little too common and it's not its fault there are people who only use the Synoid Symulor in every mission. Please give it back and let me have some fun.

  15. I see no issue with this addition.

You are told beforehand what the modifiers are. You have the option to select weapons that don't have AoE damage. You have recruitment chat to find people with a sufficient amount of brain cells to realize that they'll need to be careful and there's always the option to play with friends or solo.

I wouldn't say it's forcing solo play, it's heavily promoting squad communication. And it's hella fun if you're playing with friends who can take a joke.
