Apparently not. Otherwise you would have make this incident public instead of keeping this a secret for 1.5 years! This is horribly irresponsible when you work with personal information!

Good god at least in Germany you HAVE to report leaks of personal data, even if you just suspect a possible leak or breach. Other countries should adapt that, too.

It's a shame that so many companies are so sloppy with the data they have and don't really care about them in an appropiate way!

And the most important information are still missing:

Are all email adresses compromised at the time the incident happened?

How and where can I check, if my adress is one of them?

It is disapointing how you, DE, handled the situation. VERY disapointing!

  2. Both explanations are probably correct. I don't want to know how many multiple accounts are out there. I'm sure there were enough accounts for all the event mods when they were exclusive. Several hundreds of plat for a mod and u got 4 of them - every damage type.

And if there would be no demand for a quick access to specific content there wouldn't be warframes and weapons available for plat (and the rush function in the foundry). So if there are already many players who even buy Inaros, Mirage and so on that is a shortcut of a few days, there are enough who don't want to wait at least 200 days for a mod.

Primed Vigor and Fury are for the ones who stick a bit longer with the game. Still better than a boring sigil nobody will ever wear (at least I don't even notice if others war different skins or accessoires).

What will you do about those who bought / sold their primed fury mod?
PS: i'm 12 days left from getting mine so i didnt bought or sold any primed fury but i'd like to know if you'll do something about because that means some people might never have primed fury then.

I'd say they are unlucky players to have no primed fury. They have already chosen that they want plat over a unique mod. So no need to worry about them.

For my last couple of posts I brainstormed some reworks for Nova, Ash's ult and Ember.  I think that's enough productive feedback for a while, so let's have a thread where we just complain about bad design.

So who do you think is the most poorly designed Warframe as of now ? By poor design I mean gameplay, stats, visuals , whatever you want !

For me it's got to be Ember. She's a glass cannon frame who is supposed to be a damage monster but due to her skills not scaling, she ends up endgame as a stun-bot. Also, despite being squishy, she has  3 abilities that are point-blank AOE, so she needs to be surrounded by enemies to maximize their effects. AND even though her skills don't scale in damage, when they do hurt, she is completely brainless to play and has 0 interaction. Her ultimate could literally be called "Fire and Forget".

If you would have looked into the history you would see DE refuses to give us scaling abilities. Look at Mag who lost the last scaling ability. It.Won't.Happen. Scaling damage would negate the only "challenge" we have: steroid enemies with mass hp, shields and armour.

Nevertheless for me Limbo was always the best example of a frame whose abilities were more a pain than a gain. If I really decide to use him again would mean DE had put in massive work.

So, now that frames are more or less "balanced" dear devs, are you FINALLY going to do something about that stupidely, utterly broken enemy scaling of yours? Because you know, kinda outweighs a few passive and skins, however good they may look. Changing our weapons, their damage output, multishot and all that, it's a start, but it's nowhere near enough, nor is it doing things in the right order as far as I'm concerned. Enemy scaling is the cause of everything that ends up going wrong down the line, you made it so that enemies are either so weak and defenseless that killing hundreds of them instantly just requires to press a button, or are just downright overpowered stats wise, don't give a damn about damage based abilities and can just dispel, nullify or outright ignore any and all Tenno powers while their sheer damage output and numbers is enough take down any frame in a matter of seconds, with sometimes no recourse for the players other than cheesing the game. There's a sweetspot in there somewhere, but it is so smothered between the two extremes that sometimes I think it might as well not be there at all... It's just all or nothing with Warframe. Where's the balance?

I know this may seem aggressive, offensive even. Actually I hope it does, because at this point I don't think "pretty please" works with you guys. Balance this game for Lotus' sake, 2 and half years of viable propositions to make this brain-dead third rate TPS with zero fair challenge and difficulty something that not only looks great but FEELS great, especially its "veteran" content, and yet all we get is more pointless changes that don't actually change things for the most part, or come far too late for many a player who has already abandoned ship.

Sorry, had to get this off my chest. I am angry dear devs, furious even. Because I actually care about this game and this community. And you. Yeah I know, hard to believe. Still, this anger I feel comes from the fact that after more than 2 years, more threads than I can recall, with VIABLE, REASONABLE propositions by MANY players, newbies and vets alike, you still take the easy way out. Because yes, this is the easy way out. You always stay away from the roots of the issue, always skirting them without ever diving into the thick of it. What's wrong, are you that scared that you can't provide actual, fair challenge? That it would be too much work to go back and rebuild a viable, solid base for your game? You're better than this, you showed it before. You can do it again. The task is daunting, but the more you wait, the more you refuse to accept the simple truth, that in its current state Warframe is just void of any fair, true challenge, and that taking away gameplay options instead of creating more ways to play is the worst possible way to to go, the more work you'll have on your hands if you ever come to your senses and realize that you're wasting invaluable time fiddling with what more or less works while everything that causes the real, deep balance issues is left untouched for years.

I also know that this is my personal opinion, I perfectly understand some will disagree. As I have said numerous times lately, I WISH I could find Warframe challenging, as some seem to be able to. But I just can't. I'm used to being challenged in other games, yet in this one, nothing. No thrill when I manage to take down "high level" enemies, no satisfaction when I complete a so called "trial", no matter how much I play, it just tastes stale. The only times I have fun are the times I actually don't play the way you want me to. Ironic, isn't it? It's been said 2015 would be the year of quality. I'm still wiating half a year after that one. What happened to bringing balance to CC abilities that tend to make enemies completely powerless without making them outright immune with cheap mechanics? It's all we got for a year and half now. I'm sorry, I truly am, but honestly, I am fresh out of hope and patience. And it saddens me greatly, because I see so much potential in this game. So much. More so than in most games I've played in the past 3 years. So yeah, angry, sad, disappointed, tired of waiting.

This is exactly what I think about Warframe for more than 20 months now.

When the only "challenge" in Warframe is an absurd number of enemies packed with HP and armour then it is obviously we need stuff that is as powerful as possible or modifies the game insofar that we choose the path with the least resistance. We face steroid-pumped enemies with insanely scaled stats when we play tower missions because of the endless grinding we need to do to finally get that prime part we were looking for (at least in my situation). So guess what? People try to make such missions as comfortable as possible. I had to waste about 60 T1 Exterminate with my friend to finally get one Fragor Prime BP. My warframe of choice: Ember Prime with a permanent activated ultimate, just rush to the extraction and get out. I started playing survivals with Valkyr's Hysteria because I had to grind, grind, grind for the stuff and I don't want to waste tons of keys anymore just because drops are pure horror.

I come with several ideas with my friend and discuss them with him while we play/grind but something what we have learned is that neither the majority of the community nor the creators of Warframe would be really interested in such stuff. The White Knights™ pin most efforts down with "you salty crybabies" whenever an issue is adressed and praise everything DE is delivering. DE probably ignore the majority anything outside the Tenno Council. So why bothering with the resistance of the Community then? My friend and I we play this game now for more than three years so I think we know about the stuff we talk about but I guess it's only important for DE to listen to people that have wide open wallets and/or put their complete play sessions on YouTube.

There are so many construction sites in Warframe. Some have been adressed in Devstreams maybe but I lost interest in such things a very long time ago because I don't see a real progress anymore. Dark Sectors, Clan Dojo, syndicates, companions, Archwing, Baro, drop tables just to name some things. I have lost a lot of interest shortly after the beginning of the "Year of Quality" because it didn't feel like that at all. There were so many rushed reactions of farming specific levels (i.e. do you remember the Augustus incident where DE rushed out changes just to stop people from recieving too many mods there?), it feels more like DE is just reacting to spots where farming stuff is less frustating than normal instead of making exiting content.

Shortly before the login system reward mechanic was modified I didn't even care anymore if my login timer was set to the 7th day (even when there were days I didn't want to play Warframe I logged in at least). It was even easier for me to forget about Warframe since we have the "new" one. I missed about 14 to 20 logins now maybe. Any grief? No, why should I? In the end you get some stuff that will be nerfed anyway sooner or later. I don't even play Sorties anymore because it's just the same boring stuff just with...guess what...enemies with a lot of HP, amour and shields.

The new update makes it even easier to loosen the wires that have been carefully made between Warframe and me because yesterdays update shows that DE has learned nothing from the past and will continue to nerf everything that can be used to bear the only challenge Warframe has: enemies with titan armour. Watch out guys, Ash will be probably one of the next frames.

haha, don't be silly. even if you would lose something important you wouldn't get it. learned it the hard way.

    Hotfix 18.5.6

    Changes

    • Changed Shock Eximus auras to proc with Electric Damage instead of Magnetic. Now all 4 raw elements are represented in Eximus Units.

It's easy to rant but hard to pay tribute. I press a lot of "X" to pay. Thank you.

  8. Hi guys,

I just found an old clip from Warframe back in the old days on my PC. The only thing I want to tell my old self is: "Why didn't you buy the founders pack that ended one month ago you fool???"

    It has everything:

    • old UI
    • old mod layout
    • old minimap and mission progression
    • old system how characters send you messages
    • old enemy levels (when lvl 40 was nothing compared to todays measures
    • the announcement of hotfix 10.5.6 (?)
    • edit: Rebecca's Lotus' old voice ;)

Can you PLEASE deal with the annoying as **** visual fog thing that makes the skybox take up most of your screen? I've been unable to play Warframe seriously because of it and after about days of not hearing any response I'm getting legitimately ticked off now, nevermind I had to BUY and BUILD the bloody quest I want to play what is meant to be a "lore heavy" quest already.

Oh yeah, the annoying fog. It's like the universe is a big Ceres factory now. Even the liset looks like Ordis and your Orokin Bugs Bunny started chain smoking. The last time I saw that much fog in a game was in the Turok Remastered game...or Minecraft?

I beginning to tire of people using the "prioritize them" argument.  It's been used for pretty much every new Corpus unit.  I'm but one person.  How am I supposed to prioritize Nullifiers, Scrambas, Sapping Ospreys, Bursas and Shock Eximus all at once?  Individually they are all okay but as soon as two or three from that list come at you it's a different story as each needs to be dealt with quickly and some of them get quite tough at high levels.

I thought I remembered reading it as an intentional change!  Guess might not have been going crazy.

    10cflp.jpg

I also thought they removed the proc intentionally. Even at this time it was neccessary. You can live with every proc but magnetic is just too harsh. I'm sure it was only added for the enemies because...who in Warframe really uses magnetic damage? No enemy uses energy (it would be actually a bit interesting when magnetic procs stop enemies from using abilities and auras!) and not even Corpus units care about the shield reduction. Use bleed or poison and forget about the shield. Either the shield isn't worth a mention or the shield is so high you should have chosen Mag (which also does magnetic damage).

I don't know why DE want to (re-)add more and more annoying mechanics and enemies until the factions become unnerving. It isn't a "challenge" to deal with constant loss of the complete energy pool. Nullifier are a better challenge because they are safe from abilities. Just kill them and you can continue casting. Why can't do a magnetic proc just deactivate your abilities for a few seconds?

Please reconsider the Shock Eximus. I'm sure you can come up with a more fair mechanic than an instant energy drain that completely ruins a number of playstyles and loadouts and causes a major headache for the rest.

Players shouldn't be punished (especially this harshly) for being too close to an enemy they didn't know existed on the map until after they were drained of all their energy, stripped naked and disoriented.

This is just the reimplementation of the old mechanic. In the beginning they were exactly like this.

Edit: I think at this time I was mainly playing with a Rhino (Prime) so it wasn't a big deal as far as I remember.

    Hotfix 18.5.2

    Changes

    • Removed Cannonade from Transmutation and marked it untradable until it can be balanced and released properly. If you have it, you can keep it, but note it might change.

as if DE would actually learn anything from the past like the xp aura mod fiasco :|

give them their multiple legendary cores already
