Sometimes Mag's crush animation finishes before the floating bits are crushed together, if the player goes into Operator mode before the floating bits are crushed together and then leaves Operator mode again, the ability gets stuck in the "Ability in use" state and becomes unusable for a while. This seems to happen especially when the host or connection is lagging.
How to reproduce:-
Find/simulate lagging host/connection -
Cast Crush -
Go into Operator mode before the ability fully finishes -
Leave Operator mode -
Crush should now be unusable
Never mind that, I was unable to reproduce it like that anymore, but it still seems to happen most often when there's some connection lag and when Mag's animation finishes long before the floating bits are crushed together -

While I'm excited to try out that Mag augment mod, it feels much like a band-aid that should just be added to her ability instead of being a augment mod.

I totally agree. I would've accepted a "No" from DE, but that they didn't give a single word about this is very disappointing and, in my honest opinion, not acceptable considering the item is quite expensive and doesn't do what was advertised. And on top of that there have been plenty of people complaining and requesting refunds!
I'll think twice next time before buying a special syandana...

I agree, the mag skins also work quite well and I'd be sad if the primed parts were removed completely.

I'm really disappointed how this is not being communicated at all. A short response wouldn't take more than 5 minutes. Surely somebody should have time to do that simple task?

It seems like I don't get any XP when killing enemies with Maim even though they're within the affinity range. Is anybody else having the same problem?

I don't really want a refund either. Making two versions of it would be the easiest and best solution, nobody loses anything from that.

I'm all for option 3. Seems like the best compromise between the players and the devs because it doesn't require a toggle/additional UI. Option 4 would be even better, but not really necessary.

That's why people suggested splitting it into two items, one always open and one always closed. Same effect as a toggle, but no additional UI for a toggle required.
You should be able to tell how it looks from ingame, I don't want to have to look at external sources. I saw the preview and expected it to look like that. At the very least there should be a text describing when it opens up.
I don't see any argument against having a toggle/two seperate modes? It wouldn't hurt those that want it closed at all, and those who expected it to be open wouldn't feel disappointed.

Oh come on, that's a very big no from me! I bought the syandana exactly because it was this big and something different! Please at least make it an option, otherwise I feel I've been ripped off
The rest of the changes are great though, I like the Nullifier changes.

Equinox's metamorphosis ability resets signa's Y Offset

When using Equinox's metamorphosis ability the Y Offset of the signa is reset to its default position for the duration of the mission. This only happens during a mission when actually using the ability. Clicking the "METAMORPHOSIS" button in the arsenal does not cause this issue.
