  1. Ah, fun. Now my issue has evolved to an even LARGER problem. I had forgotten to try and verify my download cache, so like any normal person I clicked "Verify Download Cache."
Now the launcher freezes my laptop every time the "Verify Download Cache" status gets to 100%, and if I leave it like that it just stays like that. So i have to restart my laptop. I have done this MULTIPLE times.
Does anyone know where the file that controls the "Verify Download Cache" thingy is?

  2. A couple weeks ago, I started up warframe and it went through the normal runs of downloading updates, but then it got to "Checking for new content," and then the connection would time out. I went through this for the next two weeks, thinking that it would just fix its self.
After this, I decided to just VERIFY my download cache. Shouldn't be a problem, right? Ha. Huge problem. It went all the way to 100%, and then my whole PC just flipping freezes. I cant click other windows, i can't alt+tab, i cant Ctrl+alt+delete-task manager, everything stops. So i restart my computer thinking "Totes just a fluke."
But, to my horror, it was indeed the real deal. So i restart again, click task manager to see what's going on and then open up warframe. It then continues to verify my download cache and then the worst thing ever happens, TASK MANAGER freezes!!!

I just wish that I could find the file that deals with the "Verify Download Cache" so that I could tell it not to do that. I just want the suffering to end...

  3. I am also experiencing this issue. And, like MimouAuditore, it is very common for me also. I have not been able to get past the "Checking for new content" part, I've tried multiple things, such as un-checking Bulk download and the Aggressive thing (absolutely no change), restarting my laptop(no change), connecting to the internet via Ethernet cable(no change), rebooting my internet (no change), reading multiple forums, and getting on Minecraft (because for some odd reason that helps sometimes.)

Most of the time it just tells me, "Update Failed! Some content updates could not be downloaded from our servers. Please restart warframe to try again. The update will be restarted shortly..."
