The only reason why the hotfix could have triggered the cheat detection software is if the hotfix installed badly and the cheat detection thought that game files had been modified...
But yeah, hope this gets resolved for your fiance ASAP.

Yeah, it said he was banned until 2035. And I can assure everyone, there was no 'suspicious activity' being done at all, but the message said it was detected. o_O And he sent in a ticket. I was just curious if this happened to anyone else, at all lols

I'm not looking through all the other threads to see if this is a topic already, so I'm starting a new one.
Me, my fiance, and two other friends were doing missions together, and we get the all mighty red text saying to reboot the game to download the hotfix. We all do it, and my fiance tries to log in, and low and behold! He gets a message pop up saying "Your account has been suspended". He got banned. Randomly. For no reason whatsoever. Seriously, this shouldn't happen at all. In ever online game him and I have ever played, we've NEVER been randomly banned after a new hotfix/patch.
So, does anyone know if anyone else has been 'randomly banned' due to this stupid excuse for a hotfix?

I know these things works overall.
Just saying that "Today" in that sentense changes nothing.
My personal ridiculuos line of grinding was the moment right after they changed deathmark script for Harvester and finally doubled the chances.
That was literally unfarmable for people who farmed him 12h+ in a day.
Ember Prime is way more farmable.
My point is the same - even 20 runs "today" is nothing.
He's been farming it with a friend since Ember Prime came out. =/

That's a false dichotomy - I'm not saying it's unreasonable to be mad. I really really feel you on the RNG; I've had my fair share of stories. I feel like there's a pretty big different between posting "This is so irritating, I've done X and Y and I can't believe how hard this is. This is totally unreasonable and was a terrible idea from the start" and asking if the devs are on meth.
A false what now? I have no idea what the hell word that was, so I suddenly don't care about what you said. -___-

If I order something at a restaurant and it comes out poorly done, can I flip a table and call the staff a bunch of names? Yeah, the RNG isn't fun. Yes, it should be fixed. Yes, he should post feedback. No, he doesn't have to say they're "on meth."
I'm just not convinced that just because the rates are low we should automatically assert that it's a prime access conspiracy and start insulting the devs - we can state feedback neutrally just fine.
Sorry, but not everyone is as reserved as you, apparently. Even I'm restraining myself right now, because I just gave up all together on this Ember Prime. I wasted all my keys just trying to get the helmet, and got nothing. He's mad, and frankly, so am I. After the stint with the Nova Systems being bugged, and me spending literally two months trying to get it until they finally fixed it, I'm like "Hell with Ember Prime, so not worth it after that." lols x.x

20 runs is nothing.
Now you can run a boss about 3 times and get all the new frame parts with almost 100% chance. Isn't it a huge step towards casuals already?
I'm pretty sure i don't want it to be like "run just 3-4 mission with 100% part drop".
Note how he said "20 runs TODAY", not in total -__-

Honestly, I gave up on caring about Ember Prime for this very reason. I really hope the drop for that part isn't bugged like what happened with Nova's systems, and I was farming that for 2 months before they finally fixed it. lols x.x
