[Infested Salvage wave skip.]

So it seems that infested salvage can have a wave skipped if the host of the match leaves at the end of a wave. This only works if there was a wave completed before. This has occurred four times so far, and as nice as it is to make the grind easier, it is game breaking. I have not seen any reports of this bug yet, so I hope this helps.
