  1. Hammer for a melee brawler, nah.) And not instead of his skills. 

    Knuckles would be more logical. And DE should place it under "empty melee", like they've done with Garuda. 

     

  2. After getting info about possibility of using Garuda's claw as her weapon I started wondering about the same possibility with other warframes. 

    As DE can make it now possible, they should consider simular feature (if they not already) for exalted/personal weapons for Excalibur, Valkyr, Wukong, and maybe for Ash, Atlas, Mesa and Titania. 

    About Excalibur, Valkyr and Wukong everything is pretty easy, just letting them use their weapons, with standart stats but without specials from 4th skill. (considering their 4th skill effectiveness in general should wait till Melee 3.0)

    Ash has hidden blades that only appears in his 4th skill. I always thought that DE should add them as his melee weapon. I know that this would take some time(new stance, animations), but it is possible. 

    For Atlas, newer considered that he needs his own weapon because there is lots of simular gloves. But as a fist brawler, he should be noted. Maybe add it with good stats or synergy with skills(also with unique stance). 

    Mesa's Regulators are powerful, so why not let her use them while she has no melee (plus she has little health bonus for that). But ammo consumption should be added, like in Titania's pistols, it will need some time to recharge ammo instead of reload.

    Titania mentioned because of 2 reasons: she has 2 unique weapons and DE considering making archving weapons usable for warframe, making them possible. Letting her swing both if them could be hilarious. 

    For now it's only possible to add such feature for Excalibur, Valkyr and Wukong. (Bonuses for using their exalted-melee could be saving combo counter, under nullifier aborting forced weapon change and faster exalted skill activation.

    Other warframes need some work beforehand (like the most important - Melee 3.0)

    I cannot find any drawbacks for all that. Feel free to write your opinion. 

     

  3. I can tell personal point of view on how skills work.

    I imagine that warframes use kind of void energy that places personal imprint on Skills. It gives Skills basic properties that form energy into skills without dissipating, and data for what skills may or may not target/do. 

    May be said that is the reason for skills working inside Limbo or Nullifier's shield have abiluty to nullify by disrupting that imprint. 

    So Frost, for example, can ignore dmg from his own icy skills because of that imprint, and do not have any immunity from the begging. 

  4. Not specialized with Vauban, but you gave me an idea. 

    Let's forget about quality of first 2 skills. I just think that Vauban's list of grenades needs to be shortened. And as "Bounce" is only good as memento, mine suggestion to make it new (almost-) passive skill. 

    If you hold jump button for half a second, place "Bounce" on the floor or, if no floors nearby, 0.5m underneath (bounces up). If jump holded after bulletjump, "Bounce" spawned and bounces you the way you were looking. And we limit it's lifetime to less than 20sec and only 1 "Bounce" per jump, against abuse. 

    Just imagined how it could give Zephyr-like movements. 

    "Tesla" and other 3 grenades - they really need a buff, do not know how. But I would be glad to save "Bounce" and it will be little easyer to choose grenades this way.

    1)You pointed idea of your post badly,  and I don't think we should deal with Frames first at this. 

    2)Loki - maybe, but Wukong hardly OP (some skills even needs buff). He's hard to kill (in right hands) but not everywhere, try against high-lvl infested for example (with swarm of Disruptors). Also he has allergy to Leechers and Nullifiers =) 

    3)You can always increase energy cost.  =).  But even if this skill spamable, I do not see it OP. And it serns this problem shows only for your play-style and mod-build. There's lots of builds that are good at specific situations, and your type of nerfing certainly kills that versatility. 

    4) 25 is small, considering it became FoV skill long ago. As you sad, he is a melee frame, but this is not just a melee game,.  CC is needed, especially if you're not supported by other players. And again build-versatility - Excalibur not just a melee frame, it's a balanced frame for beginners that can be modded for different purposes. 

    5)Again it's appointing your playstyle on others(may be good but this not the case) . For me Ash's invisibility is too short. Try low-duration, high-range/efficiency build with smokebomb - you'll see other problems in your theory. 

    P. S. If nerfing range, than for all Warframes! But no more than for 2-3m (right after Melee 3.0.=)) 

    P. P. S. This game is not Destiny-like, more of Dynasty Warriors series, with different skill mechanics from both of them.

    Sorry but there is just no good answer to that.

    For example, I would like there to be more (quantity) low-enemies, less Eximus but more powerful, want better melee system. Bigger enemy quantity possible, but DE must drop players with old computers. Stronger enemies that not only have more HP are hard to devekop, also should not be too hard to deal with,  smth like that was shown with infested on streams. Melee would be easyer to fix, if this game only have melee weapons, or only played with gamepad, but it is not. 

    That's why DE try to do what they actually can #SOON ≠). for as many people as possible. 

    Just wanted to say that it's not a problem of OP but more r of personal taste and of what could be done with all that. 

    P. S. In my opinion warframes ant their skills are the only thing that  should not change too much. At the same time I want other things to change that not necessary other people would like.

    I just don't like your variant for blocking healing for shadows and especially healing for all NPC. 

    Healing for NPC helps up to 120lv nicely.  If not, I would only need radius build on him. And Trinity bad at CC. 

    Ok, back to topic, mine idea is to cap consumption after, let's say 8 targets (would be 6 energy at max efficiency without considering duration), even with 10, 20 or more allies. 

    And I agree that the other realistic variant would be blocking healing only for shadows. It just i don't like it.

    I know how many shadows Nekros has, count 10 cap was approximate for bearable playing (while you was scared of 3 Nekros party =) . Without NPC healing Oberon would be less effective, better going back on Trinity. Without any price for NPC healing also would be unfair. 

    I didn't have such problems,  maybe because rarely needed to recast it. And on the raid I held everyone (8players) under heal, was bearable.

    It just needs little balancing.

    I think they already know. It's better to look at it after PBR for Ex. Accessories right placing is time-consuming, so it's just not prioritized . There is also bad clipping  Nidus like with Kuwa shoulder armour, that flyes, looks more urgent) 

  9. Just mine opinion)

    Iron jab - want to upgrade a little. For holding skill button to launch 2nd attack with bigger radius and dmg, with animation of his staff sudden growth. Maybe with effect of launching Wukong backwards into air. 

    Defy - already nice, next... 

    Cloud walker - needs speed buff. I also like stunning effect, but it's not working properly for now - stuns not everyone,  only once. Could be fixed for CC and finishers. Also, maybe as augment, want to fly ON the cloud, while been able to fly so, shoot and melee. 

    Primal fury - good at core, just needs easier to use combos. 

    His cloning technique not represented here (maybe as Defy, but too shallow). Some augment with that could be good.

    I don't  even know if it should be fixed that way. I think there even cooperation with power-build Necros possible. 

    And Oberon must be able to heal NPC, especially when they are protection targets. 

    I propose just to limit energy drain, like for 10 targets at max. So it won't break possible opportunities and be bearable.

    Your revision of Charge only makes it easier to aim, that's all good in it. You need proposition, ok - Split current Charge into 3 consecutive (1/3 attack length for each) Charges, 2nd and 3rd will change direction to where you looking. Maybe adding ability to launch yourself into air like Ex and rushing down with it. Or adding bigger DMG multiplier, or adding charging for it like in Hydroid now. Or combination of those ideas. I don't need changes for this skill, but I think mine, made for 10 min, saving the core ability and adding smth new. 

    About Iron Skin, it only needs 1sec invulnerability after depleting, and maybe *cracking* sound effect to notify you about it. No additional effects without augment needed. 

    And why people should want to completely change his abilities if they like them? Some tweak maybe, but not changing. 

    And, for the love of Lotus, "Heaviest frame"  doesn't necessary mean "Tankiest"!  Rhino is versatile frame whose straight abilities make Heavy impact on his foes,  with throwing foes like playing bowling  and "stomping time" when needed. 

    P.S - And your passive ability variant no better than Vauban's) but better than current one))

    ...  Rhino is supposed to be the "Tank".  Then DE could truly rework his abilities like Roar to attract aggro.  

    "Heaviest Warframe" - that was so long ago),  he already found his place, no need any general change for abilities. 

    Yes, his present passive is useless & bugged.( About dissrupting: If you make slide before landing, it won't activate, if slide high in the air, it will. Also remembered it's bugged animation with ground finishers) Your idea for passive is not bad, but I would prefer protection from the back). Many people said many variant for it, DE just need to choose one at last. 

    Buff his armour? Want it on every warfame) Would more prefer some tweaks on HP-shields-armour systems. 

    About "Iron Skin"  There is already too many dmg-reduction skills, and I like present mechanics and Rhino's invulnerability, even if it's only 3 sec. It also aggro enemies already, no need it not 3rd skill. 

    I agree that his name, "Rhino" asks for more defence and power, but I like as he is now. He may be not so "Tanky" as Varkir, Inaros and some others, but he is still unique frame with the unique skills combination.

    If you think Rhino must be only armored-damage-dealer, you wrong.

    My favorite build may be with augment on Iron Skin, but it's mostly used when teammates need revive, and that's build with -power. Other time just melee killing enemies easily. 

    ... Only his passive needs rework, active skills are good in many situations as they are now.

    Really? Even though this passive not always knocking down enemies, have activation bugs and long animation steals few seconds? 

    If changing it fully not possible, then I'd prefer adding, for example, 10% skill range buff for 3-5 sec after , or synergy with slam attacks with increased weapon slam radius and status chance. But leaving it as it is now just bad. 

  15. Don't know if you know already, but there is problem with Nova's augment, Antimatter Absorb, checked with max radius mods:

    1) If player (Nova) is a Host, than radius mods working properly with augment, radius increasing (near 8m).

    But if Host somebody else, than Nova's radius for this augment stays standart (3m). Sometimes Host can see increased radius, but it's only visuals - for Nova radius looks and works as standart 3m.

    2) There's also general bug with Antimatter Drop - it can stuck in the air after touching Nullifier's shield, and to destroy it (only way I found) some other player should touch it manualy and Nova shoot another Antimatter Drop at it.

  16. 1 -  Is there any chance of optional *1st person view* in Warframe? This idea bothers me for some time.

    2 -  I always wanted here more melee infested weapons like in "Prototype" series (big claws, hammer glowes, shield) that enlace around Tenno hands. Should I wait for them?
