    the other two frames that give overguard haven't really been a problem because they generally have enough dead time between bursts of overguard that you can bait enemies into breaking it temporarily if you need to. the way Dante's overguard is implemented you flicker between 400 overguard and the overguard gate. Especially because Styanax and Frost play into using weapons and things other than just the abilities, whereas dante's play is all about the skill rotation.

If the dante player was frantically attempting to negate all damage for the team that would be one case, revenant could do the same thing by casting mesmer skin with the augment every 6 seconds. but as it stands on a halfway decent build dante's overguard regeneration nearly passively makes the squad nothing less than immortal. you literally cannot pass the overguard gate as long dante is maintaining a reasonable rotation.

  3. the problem isn't so much getting the overgaurd it is the speed of getting the overgaurd. Dante as launched is disruptive in that he will just turn off the kit of frames that require health interaction. literally spent minutes baiting enemies as chroma to try to break though the overgaurd on SP above lvl 300 and couldn't force it to break. That might speak more to how early buffer frames like chroma and oberon need a solid uplift pass, but these frames are incompatible with dante nonetheless.

  4. I was under the impression that the rhino stomp was allowed to slow as a thematic choice. There are two control effects on stomp and only one applies through overguard. Firstly the ability causes a knockdown effect, which is prevented by overgaurd, then the slow occurs. In Rhino's ability description this is portrayed as an effect on local spacetime, which if overguard was able to bypass would indicate capabilities for overgaurded enemies that exceed the acceleration given to Manics. Do we really want Eximi with access to the speedforce?

  5. as a melee focused player i am greatly disturbed by ember's change now that naramon invisibility(which was useful but not entirely vital) is gone this will practically require me to farm for the invisibility arcane to maintain any form of survivability with ember. ember"s range with firequake allowed enemies to be managed until they could be offed efficiently. this change ensures that ember bares her behind to all enemies she is not currently fighting unless the purpose of ember is to be a walking accelerant bomb because that is the only viable build that doesnt use firequake cc extensively unless she is only used to fight infested.

    Although, there are still some problems that may require attention:

    • 'Hunhow's Datascape' and 'Harrow's Temple' captura scenes are not tradable like the others from syndicates. Would be nice to know if it's a bug or a feature.
    • When running out of armor integrity in JV, Quick Thinking starts staggering the player at every damage tick, basically stunlocking the player to death. This is particularly annoying and frustrating when there are little to no charges, or when the player needs to prioritize the objective over the armor integrity (best example is the elevator phase).
    • The Jordas Golem failing to dock properly in the 3rd stage of JV has become much more frequent. We believe that it's caused by the players reaching the damage cap too quickly, or reaching it when the golem is in a determined position, making it perform a weird animation when docking.
    • Impact procs in Archwing deal significally more damage than before, making the tunnels in the 3rd stage of JV really hard without shieald restore items.

    im guessing that the scenes are not tradeable because they require quest unlock

    Gas used to do 8^3 with invis, the reason it did this is that with invis dmg was 8x then the Gas proc would get it's own 8x then on top of that the toxin that was proc'd would also get an 8x dmg multiplier, which means of you did 100 Gas dmg, with invis, first the dmg would go up to 800, then that gas proc would go up to 6400 dmg, then the toxin proc would do half the dmg along with another 8x, which equates to 3200x8= 25,600 dmg and this would proc for like 9 Times over 8 seconds, so simply put stealth gas was ridiculously overpowered. Also these procs could be stacked and of course have an aoe affecting other targets.

    so thats why my ratka dark dagger got hax called on me when i went 60% dmg dealt, 3% dmg taken in sortie the day after the ash nerf.(duration invisi ash)

  9. and again more explanation of in-game features. google still remains the best way to figure out the game mechanics because knowing the mechanic it exists/ is coming from watching the devstream still gives no applicable in-game info on use and the game itself doesn't tell us. bless the kind souls that stumbled through the implementation of the mechanic and quickly went and made the wiki page and forum walkthroughs.
