  1. If you have a friend who can fly your railjack, then I'd recommend testing the gunner weapons yourself. Having crewed a lot of Railjacks as a gunner I'll share my opinion on the side turrets.

Apoc - Nice rapid fire cannons. Long range, gets good damage relatively quickly. Satisfying to use.

Carcinox - Nice rapid fire cannons. Long range, gets good damage relatively quickly. Good satus effects. Satisfying to use.

Crypohons - Very effective, though need to be used at really, really close range, and do need some skill on your gunners part to use as they kind of need to be fired instinctively.

Photor - Long range and hitscan are a positive, but the low damage so takes ages to get any useful amount of damage on a target especially if your using Zetki ones as your having to stop to allow them to cool. I find them awkward to use as a gunner due to needing to have to constantly re-adjust the aim as the railjack moves. I'll usually resort to firing missiles as the gun cools (if the Railjack is carrying a Tycho Seeker).

Pulsar - I just really don't get on with this one and will try find another crew position to fill instead.

Personally I went for a Carcinox on mine due to the stus procs. I'd look to use the non-zetki weapons on the turrets, just because of the extra heat buildup on the Zetkis.

  2. You can join another player going through the quest the first time. You just need to have the Sacred Vessel equipped to join a Sands of Inaros mission. You can equip a Sacred Vessel it in your Gear even if you have placed one as a decoration in your landing craft.

  3. My unimaginatively named Frost loadout (Frost Prime, Lex Prime, Skana Prime, Sgaile (kubrow), I tend to not have a favourite primary and change it regularly)

The Maelstrom sigil was actually the main reason I chose to support Red Veil.

  5. That is true, which is why I ran with a Carrier and swept the arena (including jumping into the crevasse that cuts across the arena) after missing out on the pigments the first couple of times. I lost enough warframe part blueprints in strange places back when they dropped as pickup orbs.

He's currently spilling pigments and mods without issue in the day cycle.

  6. When playing the Vay Hek Terra Frame Assassination mission on the night cycle of Earth, completing the boss-fight part of the mission is not dropping anything from the reward tables, including the Night Blue pigment. It may also not be registering that Vay Hek has just been assassinated with the Stalker (5 missions over last 2 days). The hydroid parts are rewarded as normal in the mission completion screen.

  7. Manually editing config and ini files to fix the resolution is something you should be able to do for most games (I used to run three screen eyefinity but not all games could cope with it). There may be another line for tinkering with the FOV to reduce any fishbowl effect at the edges of the screen.

If you have not found it, the Widescreen Gaming Forum (http://www.wsgf.org/) contains a lot of good articles on how to push games to really wide resolutions.

  8. With the steady addition of new resource types, will the market cost for blueprints (and perhaps complete weapons) and the foundry requirements to build the finished item be looked at.

Are there any plans to make Nav coordinates actually useful? For instance combining them with recovered datamasses to open up a derelict Grineer/Corpus ships (the crew exterminated/reactor sabotaged by a previous tenno mission) to raid for loot caches. They could also have been used in the crafting of Vey Hek and Mutalist Alad locator keys)

Will we be able to donate resources to a Clan Vault?

Are there any plans to improve the Archwing map? eg into an actual 3d radar ball.

Are there any plans to increase the number of planets/nodes in the star chart.  With the bigger moons e.g. Titan, Io, Ganymede etc, functioning like Europa.  How about making Neptune a Gas Giant like Jupiter into a Gas City tile set (blue/purple skybox).  What about adding ship/asteroid/surface missions to planets that are currently dominated by a single tileset type. Particularly with the introduction of more/new tile set types.

Will the Syndicate Leaders take over Lotus' announcements in a syndicate mission in the future?  You are working for them in this instance and not Lotus.

Can we have a Kubrow bed decoration for the Liset? It must be cold and uncomfortable sleeping on that metal floor.

Can we have the ability to move weapon polarity slots around even if the weapon hasn't been forma'd. Some weapons have polarities in annoying places (eg a D in slot 1).

Will the imbalance of Weapon Mod polarities be revisited. Loads of - and V, but few D.

Can we have the Corpus ship tannoy announcements back when the ship/outpost isn't alerted to our presence (and add different announcements when it has been).

In old versions, a faction could randomly invade your mission.  Could this be reinstated if the mission node you are currently playing is actually invaded by another faction.

Can the syndicate reputation bonus be applied based on your actual rank with that Syndicate rather than based on what sigil your wearing (you'd still need to wear any one of that Syndicates sigils to get the reputation though)

  9. I recently rebuilt my Clan Dojo, and used it as an opportunity to upgrade to the new style.  It is a pain and time consuming as you have to remove all decorations and destroy every room but the clan hall.  Once all you have left is a clan hall, you can then use the room options to upgrade it to the new style.

A couple of things worth mentioning; all resources (includes platinum) used in the construction of the destroyed rooms and decorations will be returned to the clan vault, some rooms have prerequisites (eg an Oracle is needed to build Labs) which cannot be destroyed before the subsequent rooms, and all research and solar rails are maintained although you cannot get access to them without the necessary labs.

If you have platinum in the clan vault, it really speeds up this destruction/rebuild as you can use it to rush the build of any temporary rooms (eg reactors or Oracle), or a trading post, you may need to build as it will be returned to the vault once the temporary room/decoration is destroyed.

So if you want to retain access to a trading post, just build an additional temporary one in the Clan Hall for use while your destroying everything else.  You'll need to destroy it before you upgrade the Clan Hall (so you will be without it for maybe a day or two) but once you have upgraded, build a new temporary one in the 'new' Clan Hall (can be rushed with Platinum) for use until your new dojo layout is sufficiently rebuilt to have one where you really want it.

  10. Some thoughts from my time with Limbo.

Please let dropped items be picked up from inside the Rift, waiting for a cataclysm to end is dull.

Banish - One at a time is frequently really tedious. As is accidentally tagging team mates/kubrows when they step in front of you mid animation. It does have the use of being able to take a specific enemy out of the immediate fight though. Give it a shortish conical effect if un-targeted (sending nearby visible enemies into/out of the rift) but let the Limbo also target a specific enemy or ally to Rift only that target (at a much longer range). Limbo must then deliberately target allies to rift them (although it will not stop them randomly wondering in front of you). Allies having an exit clause would also be useful too - suggestions of melee an un-Rifted enemy or press 'x' to exit are both good.

Rift Walk - A functional utility power, useful for taking a breather while shields and energy replenish, reviving a downed ally in a mob, activating life support, running through lasers/gas/ice etc, or not being hurt while hacking (not tried Rift Walking with the exploded corpus windows yet). Rift walking and Banishing enemies one by one to you to kill can be handy. Good that it's a toggle power (loot pickups). I'm really not sure how combining it with Banish would work, but combining with Rift Surge would probably be better.

Rift Surge - It's an interesting idea, but because you have to Banish enemies one by one or use the Cataclysm and as neither does DoT you need an agent in the Rift (or Limbo while in a Rift Walk) or other Wargrame with a direct damage power to apply damage to the enemies to get any benefit.  Currently I'm really struggling to actually remember to use it very often.  Having a general armour/damage boost in addition to the Energy replenish whenever a Warframe is in the Rift and perhaps changing Rift Surge to an Expel power which all currently Rifted enemies are cast violently back out, meaning they will take the exit damage with a damage multiplier applied.

Cataclysm - I'm finding this more useful for team energy replenishment then crowd control as the shrinking makes it get kind of crowded in there towards the end. Being able to cross in and out is amusing for kiting the chaser type enemies (kubrow/drakh, charger) across the boundary. How about slowly expanding the sphere instead of shrinking it over the powers duration and then instantly imploding it (knocking down Rifted enemies as it throws them out) when the timer runs out. Damage would depend on the enemies distance from the casting point, with more applied to enemies nearer the center.

A thought I have not been able to test - Does a Necros' Army Of The Dead freely interact with enemies regardless of which plane the Army or the enemy is? If not, it would be good if it did.

    Something fun

I find myself equipping pistols that suit the Warframe. Can we have an alt skin for one of the single melee weapons to change it into a cane? And an alt helmet (head) with a mustache...

  11. Just because Earth has liquid water on its surface doesn't mean it is the only place they can put water tile sets, although it would be easy and make some changes to the world (a couple of galleon and the asteroid tile missions would be nice additions to Earth too).

    So where else?

There are a number of moons in the solar system with icy crusts, and there are a couple of mechanisms that would enable some degree of melting to create an 'ocean' under the surface.  Tidal heating from the world the moon is orbiting causes flexing of the moon, and radioactive decay in the moons core also generates heat.  Europa being the obvious example.

So, the following moons may have a chance of getting changed to water tiles (and where is Tyl Regor currently found?):

    Grineer moons

    Uranus - Titania, Oberon
    Saturn - Enceladus, Rhea, Tethys

    Corpus moons

    Jupiter - Callisto, Ganymede, (Europa)

    Neptune - Triton

Another 'water' tile might be Titan (Saturn).  The largest moon in the solar system, and notable for having lakes of liquid methane on the surface.  There is also speculation about the potential to have a subsurface ocean under the crust too.

  12. Playing the Kala-Azar defence on Eris, I managed to kill a team mate (Iron Skinned Rhino), their Kubrow, and damage the pod with the Ogris and Hall of Mirror's clones.

When shooting the Rhino without using Hall of Mirrors there was no effect.

Activated Hall of Mirrors, and shooting the Rhino with the Ogris again, resulted in it bleeding out.

Ogris Loadout: Serration (10); Split Chamber (5); Speed Trigger (5); Malignant Force (3); Thermite Rounds (3); Fast Hands (3)

  13. Hijack aint a bad idea, unless your an old ME3/MP player, then youve done the whole drone escort thing before.

At least this one is on rails.  Some of the techs that programmed the drone route finding VIs need scarificed to the Reapers.
