  1. Can we PLEASE have an option to choose how intense the flood light coming through the ceiling is?

I absolutely loved how it was a couple days ago. The jet black #000000 I chose actually looked like dark charcoal instead of medium gunmetal grey.

Or another option, the lighting system the dojo uses where you choose the colour of the flood light so people who want it light and airy, the people who want it dark and foreboding or the people who want it bright green get to choose what they want.

I'm not expecting as dark as the stencil, but when both are set to #000000 jet black and the non stencil isn't even close, while the dojo can get it pretty much spot on...

  2. So, took me quite some time to figure out.

I would go into missions needing a scan but would find the somachord and it says I've already scanned it without being rewarded for it.

If Helios is in the middle of scanning something and then you go into Op/Drift the scan seems to instantly complete but you don't get credit for it.

Staying in my frame the entire time is the only way to get credit for said scan.

I can also reproduce it on demand now that I am 98% sure that is what is happening.

  3. Throwing knives/stars have languished as single target very low damage low crit/status "stealth weapon" for years now despite being an absolute mood with good aesthetics.

Why not lean into that but with a bit more focus on the stealth aspect with something like "increased headshot multiplier on an unaware enemy". That way the non-existant crit/status doesn't matter as much as enemies still pop from raw damage.

If not headshot multiplier then forced critical damage on unaware enemy. It would still favour either spira prime or the base form incarnon kunai/despair due to not horrible sub-stats but it's much more than they have currently.

  4. We are coming up to the 6th anniversary of Excal umbra so I figure may as well ask ask about the original idea for other frames to become Umbra-fied for those of us who love the passive.

I'm currently having more fun playing as my fully built Drifter compared to any of the frames and it would be nice to have a buddy that isn't Excal umbra or Ivara to give a non-sentinel companion invis while sitting afk at the start of a mission.

Even a handful of frames like Ash, Vauban or Mag where they have all 4 abilities in their specter form already and don't rely on buffs or channeled abilities like Excal.

  5. Basically the title.

The void magic seems right up the operator/drifter alley since it's their whole schtick.

Plus it could be an upgrade to the Sirocco since it's weaker than any of the crafted amps.

Add onto that you could add skins to tennogen and platinum sales since the skin would be with you all the time, especially if using it for fashionframe.

  6. Or "stalker, but different colour" mostly so there is a black background instead of the several flashbangs or the bright saturated colours the other themes have.

Pure pipe dream but "theme background and theme foreground" would be my ideal solution. Black background of stalker, whole world of text options like tenno or nidus or high contrast.

  7. I was farming dojo pigments and wanted to reduce my loot range to avoid picking them up without the charm buff.

If using a rank 0 fetch then the charm icons come up on the screen but they do not work. Loot is not doubled, reload is not instant and energy is not refunded.

Not using fetch or using a max rank fetch then charm works as intended.

    It's very consistent for me,

When you read the description it says what ability they posses but while moding you have to equip 'investigator' on helios, 'ghost' on shade, 'charm' and 'mischief' on smeeta kavat, those mods are unique and can only be equipped by their specified names.

Because some companions have abilities that are so bad that you actively choose not to equip the mod. Like Sahasa kubrow ferocity. It locks the kubrow into a long animation where the enemy being attacked has godmode to everything except the kubrow, while at the same time the kubrow still gets attacked by enemies but being locked into an animation they cannot dodge.

Then you get into MOA and Hound companions where you want to mix and match. If you're locked into the mods each part brings then to have the ability you want you're stuck with an ugly robot.

Create a "Universal" / Always On Focus Tree

I would love this so much. Especially if it boosts the base 5m vacuum we have now to something closer to the 11.5m of robot vacuum or 13.5m of animal fetch. Would make them being incapacitated less of a monumental loss of QoL.

Though it would probably be best to make them toggles so you don't get another Ironclad Flight. The Titania augment that disables vacuum while her 4 is active which was created to make a single person stop complaining, that same person who no longer plays the game.

Then you get into ranking it up which could make for some resource sinking, especially if it's a proportion of the total amount you have. Like 50% of your nano spores. For new players that might be 500, for veterans that's over a million.

hey so this is just not true, vulpaphylas keep vacuum when downed, do you think it was the most used companion in the game for no reason lmao

Thing is, that is a bug. One the devs have tried to fix a couple times.

No mods except the revive one are supposed to be active while in larva state.

Even now if the larva form dies then you do lose vacuum and animal instinct like you are supposed to. It even worked that way for a while when they did fix it but then broke it again somewhere.

Unless you are talking about the innate 5m vacuum everyone has and losing a companion means you lose the range extension.

  11. With the removal of the MK-1 weapons (what about the mastery?) I can see since they don't really serve much of a purpose outside of collection and MR grinding.

The removal of flawed mods I can also see, however if removing them from inventory please don't remove flawed ammo drum from those of us who earned it from the event back in 2016.

  12. After years of having issues with pathing and companions who navigate by the floor I decided to do some runs to see how they did outside corpus tilesets.
    Grineer:
Asteroid = wonderful. Was basically never any further than 20m behind me.
Asteroid fortress (kuva) = Gold standard, Zero hiccups or lag.
Forest = Pretty good. Occasionally gets caught on something but will catch up eventually.
Galleon = Wonderful, a little bit better than Grineer asteroid.
    Sealab = Another gold standard.
Settlement (Mars) = Passably decent. Frequently lags behind but will catch up. Could really use more teleport catch-ups.
Shipyard = Lags heavily behind. Teleport is on a long cooldown.

    Corpus:
Gas city = Laggy, but will teleport fairly often. Passable pathing.
Ice planet = A little bit worse than Corpus outpost.
Outpost = Silver standard. They do a great job keeping up and teleporting but will stub their toe now and then and get up to 40m away.
Ship = Disaster. Get stuck on elevators, get stuck on stairs, get stuck on "something" and then forever stay in 1 spot, never teleporting to you even from over 300m.

    Infested:
Ship = Ok. While they could get some distance away they would catch up frequently.
Derelict = Pretty good everywhere except the big tree room that seems to trip them up.

    Orokin:
Moon = It's weird. They take a couple minutes to "wake up" where their pathing is laggy and sluggish but then it becomes good.
Tower = Silver standard. Great most tiles but now and then you will find a room (almost always a puzzle room) that they seemingly just don't like.
Zariman = Gold standard. Like a puppy with abandonment issues, basically flawless pathing.

    Sentient:
Murex = Except for the opening tile pathing is pretty smooth.

Except for the Corpus ship tileset a lower cooldown on the teleport would be highly appreciated. Would help some of the "well my companion is over 50m away, they will catch up in 10 seconds or so".

Corpus ship tileset however really needs some help. Even if it's an /unstuck command purely for the companion.

  13. While shock collar/venom teeth/frost jaw/flame gland are incredibly nice to have the very low status chance of all animals means much of it goes to waste. While kubrows and predasites can boost the 5% status chance to decent levels with mecha overdrive; helminth charger, kavats and vulpaphyla are stuck with the abysmally low status.

Kavats can at least go crit with hunter synergy and their base 20% crit chance. Helminth charger also gets shafted there due to 10% crit chance.

Can we please get the 90% elemental mods like regular weapons have for animals?

As much as this would be a pipe dream it could also open the door for a new primed mod from Baro.
