  1. So, there are a bunch of mods in conclave that I would like to use in PVE like the damage conversions to Slash, Puncture and Impact and the stances and whatnot.

I was wondering if it might be possible to just make all of these mods useable outside of the conclave pvp mode.  Its not a difficult or unreasonable request as PVP mode isn't very popular.

Most of the mods probably wouldn't be used but still. Why limit a mod that would not break pve to pvp? I don't understand Space Mom. Because I think if the mods were useable elsewhere there would be more people playing the mode.

  2. People that get slaughtered in PvP aren't underpowered. They just aren't very good at it. Hitting a fast moving target is VERY different from stupid, tanky mobs that spawn in hordes. It is hard. But what did you expect? Warframes are practically demigod ninjas that litteraly bounce off the walls. That wouldn't be easy to hit in any game with any weapon.

  3. Well, I think there are things we as gamers can do to inspire the devs. We could organize clan competitions in conclave and whatnot. The problem with the clan system isn't what DE wanted to do. Its what the player base did with the original pvp system which is in the infamous "Armistice" at present. We need to encourage DE to make clan PVP or competitive objectives a serious issue in order to make the game more competitive or more team oriented. Honestly I'm all for competitive games modes outside of conclave or making conclave more in line with the original pvp model.

  4. So, Pet 2.0 is being discussed and I thought I'd put in my two cents.

I love my Kavat. I really think that the buffs and entertainment value I get from it is worth the grind or plat. Pets in general provide a meaning target on the battlefield to share agro with, they provide buffs and other benefits, and they look really cool.  However there are some things very wrong with the current pet system that sometimes prohibit me from using a pet as opposed to a sentinel companion. These are not good reasons to have a delineation in usage, and I would suggest that they be addressed in future "builds". NO BANDAID MODS YOU GOOBERS.

Here are some points/rants that make my main point more or less salient.

    1. The AI needs improvement, kavats and kubrows get caught on tiles and rely way to much on teleportation mechanics to reset themselves. They clip into terrain and do not move on par with warframes that they follow even if they don't bug out on the tiles. They need a meaningful AI overhaul with movement that scales with the warframe or just faster than warframes in general that they accompany instead of just teleporting everywhere. Whenever my companions dive into a lake and get stuck under a rock when I fish, I'm tempted to break another Xbox controller... Also how is a humanoid robot outpacing a miniature ninja alien cheetah? That thing should be on the enemy before I can scope in.

    2. I'm not an advocate for universal vacuum but your pet should be able to pick up items that it touches for you. This might ACTUALLY be better than vacuum as Kavats do a lot of jumping around and some Kubrows have charge attacks (Like the helminth charger) or the ability to dig up resources.

    3. We need a kennel, I should not have to put a cat or dog in the freezer to breed a new one. I don't know why an incredibly advanced alien cloning machine is also the place where our pets sleep but it seems weird that I have four animals and one gets to run around the ship while the rest are hiding in my alien deep freezer for a nap.

    4. There was talk of a bird pet, can we put vacuum on it? Polly the Battle Parrot is about to be META. Also can we give them laser eyes and super strength, I want my master race of super parrots to be sortie ready out of the box. #HypeTrain... Assuming it doesn't clip on an invisible tile wall... But I'm sure that would never happen... ever.

    5. On a more serious note, a seek target command button for both pets and sentinels would be great for low level missions. Please consider this as it would probably entice early game players. Just the ability to sic your companion to a specific target should NOT be a band aid mod in an event mod set. It should be a feature of the sentinel or pet. And yes I realize that people will send their Carrier prime to kill Zanuka hunter while they defend objective. That should be the appeal though. And honestly how else are birds going to work otherwise? Are just going to freak out whenever they see strangers like my Shih Tzu does whenever I open the door to my apartment?

Let me paint a picture for you, a kavat is supposed to be a nimble ninja cat that terrorizes the battlefield with acrobatic jumps and leap attacks. Now imagine if the base movement and attack speed were buffed in addition to an AI overhaul. Sounds like the original intent was to have a companion that moved in a way similar to a warframe. With an overhaul to the kavats best characteristics it could a valuable companion in a variety of situations. So if there is an overhaul I would like to see kubrows and kavats both become much more nimble and to have better collision mechanics with the terrain in order to minimize the immersion breaking "under the rock" scenarios; as well as have better per second attack speeds and targeting speeds.  In other words a Kubrow with a potato and six forma should be able to single handedly complete a low level exterminate with the right build. Because the problem isn't the damage values coming out of the pets it's the targeting and movement system that need work. Even if you don't buff anything else, an improved targeting and movement system would allow pets perform on a similar level to sentinels without tweeking any number values relating to damage whatsoever.

P.S. Kennel major QOL improvement. Probably a lot of work though. I'm not a stickler and I understand if this cant be done in a reasonable amount of time. But my Parrot with two opticors for eyes is mandatory.

P.S.S. Buff Zanuka hunter please. My carrier prime killed it while I was TRYING to be captured for the lolz. It doesn't spawn nearly enough for me to be accidentally captured by Alad V. Seriously, I really wanted to experience that. Sounds like a fun diversion from farming.

  5. So say I had a cool looking weapon, but no matter how I modded it there was no way it was viable end game. What if there was a way to enhance base stats via some token? Each token would raise one state by a percentage based on riven disposition. That would alleviate people using it on the Soma or Simulor without nerfing those respective weapons. Rng stat tokens as a reward would be a powerful incentive for any new mission.

  6. There's no reward to farming a Gallatine prime up for 6 hrs and it's stats being insignificant compared to basic melee weapons. You can wish that it were not so but most of the choices you have end game are the most time consuming to acquire or cost you plat. That is how the game is monetized and designed. Same thing with the prime frames as opposed to the regular frames. In all reality you can build out just about any weapon for end game but don't expect a regular weapon to be on par with something more difficult to acquire.

  7. Has anyone thought about how Zanuka embodied a sort of morbid fascination with an enemy? I think so. The thought of "dark side" players scavenging for warframe part to assemble their own abomination would be awesome! It could be hard to acquire which would give the end game players something to do and it could require a certain amount of mastery to encourage more people to rank up. It would also open the door to pvp outside the somewhat friendly conclave matches and set a darker tone. People on the "light side" could have their own variant or frame and it could set the right environment for more diversity in builds and weapons. *That and there's already a model for Zanuka*

  8. This has been on my mind a lot over the past week. One of the coolest parts of the new shooter games is the ability to customize weapons down to the barrel and receiver. Warframe does a decent job with its mod based system as it is. But what if I could attach a drum magazine to a Karak that increases ammo capacity and multishot or a longer barrel to make it more accurate and have enhanced base stats to scale with mods.  Now imagine that in order to get these parts you had to complete a quest line for your clan (mentioned in the devstream). That would add hundreds of hours of gameplay just for the weapons we have currently... thoughts anyone?
