  1. I have to hover over a tiny icon to see what frames (or relics) my squad has equipped now rather than just being able to hit escape. The pause menu has all this empty space where useful (or even downright necessary) information once was.

On top of that, selling prime parts for ducats is a nightmare now, as is selling Oberon parts (because the items are rendered in grayscale until hovered over, I can't tell which parts are the ones I want to sell or Oberon Prime blueprints).

The style of the UI looks nice, and there are definitely some improvements, but there are enough steps back in usability that I honestly just kinda want the old UI back - which says something, because the old UI had two-row horizontal scrolling.

  2. I just went through my skins and verified this happening on the following:

    • Ash Prime and Koga
    • Frost Harka
    • Mesa Presidio
    • Mirage Prime
    • Nova Asuri
    • Oberon Feyarch
    • Rhino default and Palatine
    • Saryn Orphid

I don't have all the deluxe skins, but I have a good chunk of them, and they almost all seem to share this issue (the only exception I can remember is Trinity Strega).

I hope this gets fixed soon, the endgame is suffering

EDIT: Actually, it seems to be tied to specific armor sets. Switching the armor on my Oberon Prime to the default armor makes the size look just fine.

Notable examples are Porta, Riv Elite-Guard, and Eos Prime armor. I think it might happen on regular Eos, but I don't own those, so I can't check.

A step in the right direction, yes, but the gain is so comically bad compared to the time and effort required, it's hard to decide whether to cry or laugh.

The notion of spending 41 shards to unbind a waybound passive with shards alone is just.. ridiculous

I'll clarify that the 41 shards is for if you've actually been able to max out the passive in question. You'll need WAY more than that to max it with just shards.

Shards are a bit of a help but they don't make it much better in reality. All they give you is a way to extend the daily cap past 250k.

It's a long grind, but you can get the meaty parts of the tree you want fairly quickly. If you want to absolutely max it out, yeah that's going to take forever. But I don't think were supposed to just get everything possible.

I think the game should be designed to allow "getting everything possible" to be a realistic goal...

  5. The system itself is otherwise fine, but it's hands down the worst grind in the game. Sure, the daily cap was increased, but so was the cost of everything, so it still takes a year and a half of hitting the daily cap (which is still a lot of effort to put in every day with how many points you gain).

Wasn't the increase in multiplier from the convergence orb supposed to make the system less of a grind? It takes so much more effort to make even a little progress now, I feel like even if I do a super-efficient run with two greater lenses I'm not making enough - and the daily cap makes it so, so much worse. Doubling the cap or removing it entirely wouldn't even fix the problem because the costs are still far too high.

EDIT: So not long after I posted this they added the ability to trade in brilliant sentient shards. They give less standing than a stealth run of sedna exterminate, but they bypass the cap, so that's at least a step in the right direction?

  6. I reached an objective area before my teammates did and the bounty failed because they were outside of it for too long (because they never reached it in the first place). I was in the capture animation for capturing the target and it said "BOUNTY FAILED". I really don't think this should be a thing, it kinda makes me just want to solo every bounty

The worst part is this happened a second time. I was anticipating it this time. I was still standing outside the yellow circle on the minimap specifically so it wouldn't start the objective, but even though I didn't enter it counted as me being inside anyway and basically failed the bounty for everyone. I get that I should maybe be sticking with my teammates, but failing to do so shouldn't result in immediately failing a whole bounty.

I actually really like this update aside from this and the economy thing, but the economy thing's confirmed to get fixed and we haven't heard any word on this being tweaked I don't think

  7. Using Hallowed Ground as Oberon in the plains often doesn't work. I jump around, jump up, jump up, and get down on it and I only get the hallowed ground buff for a split second (and, ofc, the armor buff until I turn off renewal) late into the ability's duration.

I don't actually know if this is specific to the plains but it's where I've observed it

  8. Can we expect a re-release for the Machete and Vulkar Wraith any time soon? My profile reads 370/376 and those two weapons are both part of those missing 6 (including the vulkar wraith, even though I wasn't around for Shadow Debt)

HaHa Ha! Do you even Sibear? Not trying to be rude but getting 20 nitain is so much less painful that doing 300 excavators. None of the valk costs are unreasonable unless you're really new and those items aren't exactly meant for out of the box players.

Excavation is a common farming spot for three different tiers of relic as well as endo. The Sibear is best passively farmed, because trying to farm for it actively will just burn you out.

Now, the Hema research, on the other hand...

  10. I was considering upgrading my clan to a shadow clan because my best friend wants a clan for their friends to join, but after this nonsense, I don't want heightened research requirements ever

It doesn't help that, in spite of all the complaints, all the feedback, it's been confirmed there are plans to do more things like this. Really? Why even have a clan above ghost tier anymore? This is the worst thing to happen to the clan system. Sure, it's just a weapon, but that doesn't change the fact that if you put content in the game people are going to want it.

Pray to RNGesus, or Lootcifer... your choice. He is not a prime and should not be tradeable.

Nezha was tradeable back when sorties had seasons and non-repeatable rewards. It doesn't need to be restricted to primes.

That kill count's not representative, as they aren't all Kuva gunners.

Not saying it's super high the issue is mostly gunner spawns rather than the mod droprate itself.

It's both. The mod has a <1% chance to drop from any given kuva heavy gunner.

It does a great job of encouraging people to do Simaris dailies and get transmute cores, though, I'll say that much

  13. It's hard for even a ghost clan to get that many unless it has the absolute maximum number of active players, and even then they all actively buckle down and farm ODD over and over with optimal team compositions (and, possibly, boosters) to do it in any reasonable length of time

I can't imagine how hard it must be on higher-tier clans. I'm really questioning the logic behind the decision to not do anything about this, like, did they look at the numbers at all? Did they check the % of clans in each tier that have hema research compared to the same thing for other weapons? Did they look at the number of clans that have been disbanded in the past month, or the number of clans that have downsized?

Like, I like the game, I like DE, but this decision in particular just makes no sense to me from any standpoint and I really don't want to support it.

  14. Honestly, the sortie rewards should be condensed to things you'll be happy to get - at the very least, dropping focus lenses should happen. Keep 2k endo, for all I care, I'd rather get that than another lens (although, don't get me wrong, making 4k the only endo drop in the sortie pool would be a welcome change)

I feel a little disheartened every time I get a lens from a sortie, even if it's a greater lens. That's not a feeling you should be getting from doing content that high level, especially stuff like Kuva Fortress operative defense where the operative walks into certain death.

The people who want lenses can't get them and the people who get lenses don't want them. This is a big problem.
