  1. I fixed this by

    1) launch warframe in steam

    2) click on the gear icon and un-tick 64 bit mode then close all windows

    3) delete the dx9 folder in  - drive c / programfiles(86) / steam / steamapps / common / warframe

    4) launch warframe in steam and it should now update correctly + dx10 and dx11 is now not grayed out anymore.

    ALSO MAKE SURE THERE IS A "Downloaded" FOLDER IN YOUR WARFRAME DIRECTORY. . . . . . IF NOT CREATE THE "Downloaded" FOLDER THEN INSIDE THAT "Public" FOLDER THEN COPY PASTE   "Tools +  Lotus + Drivers AND Cache.Windows" INTO THAT PUBLIC FOLDER.

    RUN THE LAUNCHER AGAIN
