I'm not against grinding, I love grindy games, usually. But I dislike methods of nerfing the grind to make it even more tedious.

Some people seem to have never done an actually organized Survival if you honestly think that everyone is moving around a lot (or needs to). Ever farmed sewers in a Tower Survival?
Besides, moving around does not fix the AFK-Timer thing at all. I was picking up loot every 2 minutes and moved around in a restricted space (our Frost's Globe) and still got marked as AFK and got no reward. It's hurting more than it does good.

Me, and a group of friends were farming T3 Survivals, we were going for 40-60mins. The keyhost had a dc after 38 minutes of farming. We immediatly get kicked out. No chance for host to reconnect, all rewards gone....are you serious, DE? This is a huuuge problem and should immediatly be remedied. It's encouraged to go for as long as possible, but at the same time it's risky due to internet hiccups. This is just terrible game design.
As a sidenote: The afk timers in Survival and Defense are also a terrible idea. In these types of mission you tend to not run around for much, but rather camp in a safe spot. Most of the time people only move to loot every 2-5 minutes, and that's it. Otherwise it's only using abilities and shooting. This apparently marks you as afk and you're forced to jump and roll around like a squirrel on cocaine. I don't see why this should be implemented in these types of missions at all. If a team got an afk on their team it's very easy for them to just kill them off, abandon the mission or any other of the million ways you can prevent it on your own without a dumb AFK timer in place.
Please overthink these two "features".

Could that be a thing? One of the most unpleasant things about Warframe for me is having to either have a freaking Text Document I have to keep updating to see which Weapons I have already maxed in the past, or to keep going between Codex and Inventory. It's really quite a hassle.
Could we just have a little icon indicating "the weapon this blueprint/weapon part builds is a weapon you've maxed in the past" ? Same with Frames, Weapons (even if they're still in your possesion) and other things you can level? It doesn't have to be much. Just a little Star-Icon or something along the lines would be really really nice and make Warframe less of a mess to organize!

Balance is necessary in any game, PVE or PVP. The work put into level design and enemy doesn't matter if everything dies instantly. What's the point of playing a shooter if there's nothing to shoot at?
Balance is not achieved without greatly limiting characters to the same boring concept. Balance is also not needed, neither in PvE or PvP games. In PvP games imbalance result in a certain character being extremly powerful, which is easily countered by a character that is strong against that character, which results in a shifting meta, which keeps the game going and keeps it from getting boring and being watered down to only a few certain viable strategies. Warframe is not a simple shooter, the Warframe abilities are what make this game so unique. If you want to simply shoot stuff, go and play CoD or BF.

God, this forum is terrible. First of all: Why do you even care about Warframes being balanced? It's a PvE game. Does your e-genital feel small if one Warframe is a bit stronger than others? Why do we not nerf other Frames too that are on the stronger side? Imbalance does not equal bad. Imbalance can help shape a game and help create more unique Warframes. Different Warframe's excel at different stuff. We're not complaining about Rhino's stellar solo-play potential, are we? We don't complain about Loki being able to rush through missions ridiculously fast. Why? Because they're good at it and worse at other stuff. So why do we complain about Nova being good at clearing Trash Mobs? She doesn't excel at anything else and it's honestly pretty childish to cry so much for nerfs, it seems pointless to me. If you keep nerfing everything the community wants you're going to be left with a very unhappy community. You should focus more on buffing other Warframes to be more in line with the stronger ones rather than nerfing the stronger ones. Instead of taking away from Nova, you should see it as an example. Make other Frames scale better into lategame too. And at least let us re-decide our Forma Polaraties if you nerf a frame, so we can re-make our Frame to be more in line with the changes.

The message is always there, no matter what I do, like I said. The only solution I found is activating DMZ, which I don't want to have activated as it seems to be very risky. I tried activating UpnP and port forwarding.

Yes, I know, this has been posted thousand times, and I've been searching all over the place and was unable to find anything that could help me. My Warframe always tells me I have a strict NAT, disabled UpnP and should open the ports. I tried disabling all of my firewalls, port forwarding the ports, activating UpnP and disabling it and restarting the game and all that stuff, and I still cannot get it to work. The only solution that fixes it entirely is having DMZ enabled, which I read is not optimal and could potentially be dangerous. My router is a Vodafone Easy Box 602. Anyone know any fixes?
